manvantaradi kal vibhag ka varnan

shrimaitrey ji kahate haian- vidur ji! prithvi adi karyavarg ka jo sookshmatam aansh hai-jisaka aur vibhag nahian ho sakata tatha jo karyaroop ko prapt nahian hua hai aur jisaka any paramanuoan ke sath sanyog bhi nahian hua hai, use paramanu kahate haian. in anek paramanuoan ke paraspar milane se hi manushyoan ko bhramavash unake samudayaroop ek avayavi ki pratiti hoti hai. yah paramanu jisaka sookshmatam aansh hai, apane samany svaroop mean sthit us prithvi adi karyoan ki ekata (samuday athava samagr roop) ka nam param mahanh hai. is samay usamean n to pralayadi avastha bhed ki sphoorti hoti hai, n navin-prachin adi kalabhed ki hi kalpana hoti hai.

sadhushreshth! is prakar yah vastu ke sookshmatam aur mahattam svaroop ka vichar hua. isi ke sadrishy se paramanu adi avasthaoan mean vyapt hokar vyakt padarthoan ko bhogane vale srishti adi mean samarth, avyaktasvaroop bhagavanh kal ki bhi sookshmata aur sthoolata ka anuman kiya ja sakata hai. jo kal prapanch ki paramanu-jaisi sookshm avasthaoan mean vyapt rahata hai, vah atyant sookshm hai aur jo srishti se lekar pralayaparyant usaki sabhi avasthaoan ka bhog karata hai, vah param mahanh hai. do paramanu milakar ek ‘anu’ hota hai aur tin anuoan ke milane se ek ‘trasarenu’ hota hai, jo jharokhe mean se hokar ayi huee soory ki kiranoan ke prakash mean akash mean u data dekha jata hai. aise tin trasarenuoan ko par karane mean soory ko jitana samay lagata hai, use ‘truti’ kahate haian. isase sau guna kal ‘vedh’ kahalata hai aur tin vedh ka ek ‘lav’ hota hai. tin lav ko ek ‘nimesh’ aur tin nimesh ko ek ‘kshan’ kahate haian. paanch kshan ki ek ‘kashtha’ hoti hai aur pandrah kashtha ka ek ‘laghu’. pandrah laghu ki ek ‘nadika’ (dand) kahi jati hai, do nadika ka ek ‘muhoort’ hota hai aur din ke ghatane-badhane ke anusar (din evan ratri ki donoan sandhiyoan ke do muhoortoan ko chho dakar) chhah ya sat nadika ka ek ‘prahar’ hota hai. yah ‘yam’ kahalata hai, jo manushy ke din ya rat ka chautha bhag hota hai.

chhah pal taanbean ka ek baratan banaya jaye, jisamean ek prasth jal a sake aur char mashe sone ki char aangul lanbi salaee banavakar usake dvara us baratan ke peande mean chhed karake use jal mean chho d diya jaye. jitane samay mean ek prasth jal us baratan mean bhar jaye, vah baratan jal mean doob jaye, utane samay ko ek ‘nadika’ kahate haian.

vidur ji! char-char prahar ke manushy ke ‘din’ aur ‘rat’ hote haian aur pandrah din-rat ka ek ‘paksh’ hota hai, jo shukl aur krishn bhed se do prakar ka mana gaya. in donoan pakshoan ko milakar ek ‘mas’ hota hai, jo pitaroan ka ek din-rat hai. jo mas ka ek ’rritu’ aur chhah mas ka ek ‘ayan’ hota hai. ayan ‘dakshinayan’ aur uttarayan’ bhed se do prakar ka hai. ye donoan ayan milakar devataoan ke ek din-rat hote haian tatha manushy lok mean ye ‘varsh’ ya barah mas kahe jate hai. aise sau varsh ki manushy ki param ayu batayi gayi hai.
