tinoan gunoan ki samyavastha hi prakriti hai; isaliye sattv, raj adi gun atma ke nahian, prakriti ke hi haian. inhian ke dvara jagath ki sthiti, utpatti aur pralay hua karate haian. isaliye jnan atma ka gun nahian, prakriti ka hi gun siddh hota hai. is prasang mean sattvagun hi jnan hai, rajogun hi karm hai aur tamogun hi ajnan kaha gaya hai. aur gunoan mean kshobh utpann karane vala eeshvar hi kal hai aur sootr arthath mahattattv hi svabhav hai. (isaliye pachis aur chhabbis tattvoan ki-donoan hi sankhya yuktisangat hai).

uddhav ji! (yadi tinoan gunoan ko prakriti se alag man liya jaye, jaisa ki unaki utpatti aur pralay dekhate hua manana chahiye, to tattvoan ki sankhya svayan hi atthaees ho jati hai. un tinoan ke atirikt pachis ye haian-) purush, prakriti, mahattattv, ahankar, akash, vayu, tej, jal aur prithvi-ye nau tattv maian pahale hi gina chuka hooan. shrot, tvacha, chakshu, nasika aur rasana-ye paanch jnanedriyaan; vakh, pani, pad, payu aur upasth-ye paanch karmendriyaan; tatha man, jo karmendriy aur jnanedriy donoan hi haian. is prakar kul gyarah indriyaan tatha shabd, sparsh, roop, ras aur gandh-ye jnanedriyoan ke paanch vishay. is prakar tin, nau, gyarah aur paanch-sab milakar atthaees tattv hote haian. karmendriyoan ke dvara hone vale paanch karm-chalana, bolana, mal tyagana, peshab karana aur kam karana-inake dvara tattvoan ki sankhya nahian badhati. inhean karmendriyasvaroop hi manana chahiye. srishti ke arambh mean kary (gyarah indriy aur panchabhoot) aur karan (mahattattv adi) ke roop mean prakriti hi rahati hai. vahi sattvagun, rajogun tamogun ki sahayata jagath ki sthiti, utpatti aur sanhar sambandhi avasthaean dharan karati hai. avyakt purush to prakriti aur usaki avasthaoan ka keval sakshimatr bana rahata hai. mahattattv adi karan dhatuean vikar ko prapt hote hue purush ke eekshan se shakti prapt karake paraspar mil jate haian aur prakriti ka ashray lekar usi ke bal se brahmand ki srishti karate haian.

uddhav ji! jo log tattvoan ki sankhya sat svikar karate haian, unake vichar se akash, vayu, tej, jal aur prithvi-ye paanch bhoot, chhatha jiv aur satavaan paramatma-jo sakshi jiv aur sakshy jagath donoan ka adhishthan hai-ye hi tattv haian. deh, indriy aur pranadi ki utpatti to panchabhootoan se hi huee hai [isaliye ve inhean alag nahian ginate]. jo log keval chhah tattv svikar karate haian, ve kahate haian ki paanch bhoot haian aur chhatha hai param purush paramatma. vah paramatma apane banaye hue panchabhootoan se yukt hokar deh adi ki srishti karata hai aur unamean jivaroop se pravesh karata hai (is mat ke anusar jiv ka paramatma mean aur sharir adi ka panchabhootoan mean samavesh ho jata hai). jo log karan ke roop mean char hi tattv svikar karate haian, ve kahate haian ki atma se tej, jal aur prithvi ki utpatti huee hai aur jagath mean jitane padarth haian, sab inhian se utpann hote haian. ve sabhi karyoan ka inhian mean samavesh kar lete haian. jo log tattvoan ki sankhya satrah batalate haian, ve is prakar ganana karate haian-paanch bhoot, paanch tanmatraean, paanch jnanedriyaan, ek man aur ek atma.
