tritiy adhyay prakritergunasanmoodhaah sajjante gunakarmasu . vyakhya- ‘prakritergunasanmoodhaah sajjante gunakarmasu’- satttv, raj aur tam- ye tinoan prakritijany gun manushy ko baandhane vale haian. satttvagun sukh aur jnan ki asakti se, rajogun karm ki asakti se aur tamogun pramad, alasy tatha nidra se manushy ko baandhata hai.[1] uparyukt padoan mean un ajnaniyoan ka varnan hai, jo prakritijany gunoan se atyant mohit arthat bandhe hue haian; parantu jinaka shastroan mean shastravihit shubhakarmoan mean tatha un karmoan ke phaloan mean shraddha-vishvas hai. isi adhyay ke pachisavean-chhabbisavean shlokoan mean aise ajnani purushoan ka ‘saktaah, avidvaansah’ aur ‘karmasanginamh, ajnanamh’ nam se varnan hua hai. laukik aur paralaukik bhogoan ki kamana ke karan ye purush padarthoan aur karmoan mean asakt rahate haian. is karan inase ooanche uthane ki bat samajh nahian sakate. isiliye bhagavan ne inhean ajnani kaha hai. ‘tanakritsnavido mandanh’- ajnani manushy shubhakarm to karate haian, par karate haian nity-nirantar n rahane vale nashavan padarthoan ki prapti ke liye. dhanadi prapt padarthoan mean ve mamata rakhate haian aur aprapt padarthoan ki kamana karate haian. is prakar mamata aur kamana se bandhate rahane ke karan ve gunoan[2] aur karmoan ke tattv ko poornaroop se nahian jan sakate. ajnani manushy shastravihit karm aur unaki vidhi ko to thik tarah se janate haian par gunoan aur karmoan ke tattv ko thik tarah se n janane ke karan unhean ‘akritsnavidah’[3] kaha gaya hai aur saansarik bhog tatha sangrah mean ruchi hone ke karan unhean ‘mandanh’[4] kaha gaya hai. ‘kritsnavinn vichalayeth’- gun aur karm vibhag ko poornataya janane vale tatha kamana mamata se rahit jnani purush ko chahie ki vah poorvavarnit[5] ajnani purushoan ko shubh karmoan se vichalit n karean, jisase ve mandabuddhi purush apani vartaman sthiti se niche n gir jayan. isi adhyay ke pachisavean-chhabbisavean shlokoan mean aise jnani purushoan ka ‘asaktah, vidvanh’ aur ‘yuktah, vidvanh’ nam se varnan hua hai. bhagavan ne tattvajn mahapurush ko pachisavean shlok mean ‘kuryath’ pad se svayan karm karane ki tatha chhabisavean shlok mean ‘joshayeth’ pad se ajnani purushoan se bhi vaise hi karm karavane ki ajna di thi. parantu yahaan bhagavan ne ‘n vichalayeth’ padoan se vaisi ajna n dekar mano usamean kuchh dhil di hai ki jnani purush adhik nahian to kam se kam apane sanket, vachan aur kriya se ajnani purushoan ko vichalit n kare. karan ki jivanmukt mahapurush par bhagavan aur shastr apana shasan nahian rakhate. unake kahalane vale sharir se svatah svabhavik lokasangraharth kriyaean hua karati haian.[6] tattvajn mahapurush karmayogi ho athava jnanayogi- sampoorn karm karate hue bhi usaka karmoan aur padartho ke sath kisi prakar ka sanbandh svatah nahian rahata, jo vastutah tha nahian. ajnani manushy svarg prapti ke liye shubh karm kiya karate haian. isaliye bhagavan ne aise manushyoan ko vichalit n karane ki ajna di hai arthat ve mahapurush apane sanket, vachan aur kriya se aisi koee bat prakat n karean, jisase un sakam purushoan ki shastravihit shubh-karmoan mean ashraddha, avishvas ya aruchi paida ho jay aur ve un karmo ka tyag kar dean; kyoanki aisa karane se unaka patan ho sakata hai. isaliye aise purushoan ko sakam bhav se vichalit karana hai, shastriy karmoan se nahian. janm-maranaroop bandhan se chhutakara dilane ke liye unhean sakam bhav se vichalit karana uchit bhi hai aur avashyak bhi. |

- ↑ kriya aur karm- in donoan mean bhi bhed haian. kriya ke sath jab ‘maian karta hooan’ aisa ahanbhav rahata hai, tab vah kriya ‘karm’ ho jati hai aur usaka isht, anisht aur mishrit- tin prakar ka phal milata hai (gita 18.12). parantu jahaan ‘maian karta nahi hooan’ aisa bhav rahata hai, vahaan vah kriya karm nahian banati arthat phaladayak nahian hoti. tattvajn mahapurush ke dvara phaladayak karm nahian hote, pratyut keval kriyaean (cheshtamatr) hoti haian (gita 3.33).
