vyakhya- ‘kamaistaistairhatajnanaah’- un-un arthat is lok ke aur paralok ke bhogoan ki kamanaoan se jinaka jnan dhak gaya hai, achchhadit ho gaya hai. tatpary hai ki paramatma ki prapti ke lie jo vivekayukt manushy sharir mila hai, us sharir mean akar paramatma ki prapti n karake ve apani kamanaoan ki poorti karane mean hi lage rahate haian. sanyogajany sukh ki ichchha ko kamana kahate haian. kamana do tarah ki hoti hai- yahaan ke bhog bhogane ke lie dhan-sangrah ki kamana aur svargadi paralok ke bhog bhogane ke lie puny-sangrah ki kamana. dhan sangrah ki kamana do tarah ki hoti hai- pahali, yahaan chahe jaise bhog bhogean; chahe jab, chahe jahaan aur chahe jitana dhan kharch karean, sukh-aram se din bitean adi ke lie arthat sanyogajany sukh ke lie dhan-sangrah ki kamana hoti hai aur doosari, maian dhani ho jaooan, dhan se maian b da ban jaooan adi ke lie arthat abhimanajany sukh ke lie dhan-sangrah ki kamana hoti hai. aise hi puny-sangrah ki kamana bhi do tarah ki hoti hai- pahali, yahaan maian punyatma kahalaooan aur doosari, paralok mean mere ko bhog milean. in sabhi kamanaoan se sath-asath nity-anity, sar-asar, bandh-moksh adi ka vivek achchhadit ho jata hai. vivek achchhadit hone se ve yah samajh hi nahian pate ki jin padarthoan ki ham kamana kar rahe haian, ve padarth hamare sath kab tak raheange aur ham un padarthoan ke sath kab tak raheange? ‘prakritya niyataah svaya’[2]- kamanaoan ke karan vivek dhaka jane se ve apani prakriti se niyantrit rahate haian arthat apane svabhav ke paravash rahate haian. yahaan ‘prakriti’ shabd arthat apane svabhav ke paravash rahate haian. yahaan ‘prakriti’ shabd vyaktigat svabhav ka vachak hai, samashti prakriti ka vachak nahian. yah vyaktigat svabhav sab mean mukhy hota hai- ‘svabhavo moordhni vartate.’ atah vyaktigat svabhav ko koee chho d nahian sakata- ‘ya yasy prakritiah svabhavajanita kenapi n tyajyate.’ parantu is svabhav mean jo dosh hai, unako to manushy chho d hi sakata hai, agar un doshoan ko manushy chho d nahian sakata, to phir manushy janm ki mahima hi kya huee? manushy apane svabhav ko nirdosh, shuddh banane mean sarvatha svatantr hai. parantu jab tak manushy ke bhitar kamana poorti ka uddeshy rahata hai, tab tak vah apane svabhav ko sudhar nahian sakata aur tabhi tak svabhav ki prabalata aur apanoan mean nirbalata dikhati hai. parantu jisaka uddeshy kamana mitane ka ho jata hai, vah apani prakriti (svabhav) ka sudhar kar sakata hai arthat usamean prakriti ki paravashata nahian rahati. |

- ↑ isi adhyay ke pandrahavean shlok mean varnit purushoan ka jnan to maya se dhaka hua hai aur yahaan varnit purushoan ka jnan kamana se dhaka hua hai. vahaan ke purush to kamanapoorti ke lie j d-padarthoan ka ashray lete haian aur yahaan ke purush kamana poorti ke lie devataoan ka ashray lete haian. vahaan ke purush dushtata ke karan narakoan mean ate haian aur yahaan ke purush kamana ke karan bar-bar janm-maran ko prapt hote haian.
- ↑ yahaan jo 'prakritya niyataah svaya' kaha hai, isi ko satrahavean adhyay ke tisare shlok mean ‘yo yachchhriddhah s ev sah’ kaha hai. ‘svaya’ kahane ka tatpary hai ki apani-apani prakriti ke anusar sabaki kamanaean bhi alag-alag hoti haian.
