ashtadash adhyay
‘esha teabhihita saankhye’[1] mean ae ‘saankhy’ pad ko hi yahaan ‘sannyas’ pad se kaha gaya hai. bhagavan ne bhi saankhy aur sannyas ko paryayavachi mana hai; jaise- paanchavean adhyay ke doosare shlok mean ‘sannyasah’, chauthe shlok mean ‘saankhyayogau’, paanchavean shlok mean ‘yatsaankhyaiah’ aur chhathe shlok mean ‘sannyasastu’ padoan ka ek hi arth mean prayog hua hai. isalie yahaan arjun ne saankhy ko hi sannyas kaha hai. isi prakar ‘buddhiryoge tvima shrrinu’[2] mean aye ‘yog’ pad ko hi yahaan ‘tyag’ pad se kaha gaya hai. bhagavan ne bhi yog (karmayog) aur tyag ko paryayavachi mana hai; jaise- doosare adhyay ke a datalisavean shlok mean ‘sang tyaktva’ tatha ikyavanavean shlok mean ‘phalan tyaktva’, tisare adhyay ke tisare shlok mean ‘karmayogen yoginamh’, chauthe adhyay ke bisavean shlok mean ‘tyaktva karmaphalasangamh’, paanchavean adhyay ke chauthe shlok mean ‘yogau’, paanchavean shlok mean ‘tadyogairapi gamyate’, gyarahavean shlok mean ‘sang tyaktva’ tatha barahavean shlok mean ‘karmaphalan tyaktva’, barahavean adhyay ke barahavean shlok mean ‘tyagath’ padoan ka ek hi arth mean prayog hua hai. isalie yahaan arjun ne karmayog ko hi tyag kaha hai. achchhi tarah se rakhane ka nam ‘sannyas’ hai- ‘samyakh nyasah sannyasah.’ tatpary hai ki prakriti mean dene (chho d dene) aur vivek dvara prakriti se apana sarvatha sanbandh-vichchhed kar lene ka nam ‘sannyas’ hai. karm aur phal ki asakti ko chho dane ka nam ‘tyag’ hai. chhathe adhyay ke chauthe shlok mean aya hai ki jo karm aur phal mean asakt nahian hota, vah yogaroodh ho jata hai. sanbandh- arjun ki jijnasa ke uttar mean pahale bhagavan age ke do shlokoan mean any darshanik vidvanoan ke char mat batate haian.
