sanbandh- gita ke tisare aur chauthe adhh‍yay mean arjun ne bhagavan ke shrimukh se anekoan prakar se karmayog ki prashansasuni aur usake samh‍padan ki prerana tatha ajna praph‍t ki. sath hi vah bhi suna ki ‘karmayog ke dvara bhagavath‍sh‍varoop ka tatth‍vajnan apane-ap hi ho jata hai’[2]; gita ke chauthe adhh‍yay ke aant mean bhi unh‍hean bhagavan ke dvara karmayog ke samh‍padan ki hi ajna mili. parantu bich-bich mean unh‍hoanne bhavagan ke shrimukh se hi ‘brahmarpanan brahm havi:[3]’ ‘brahmagravapare yajnan yajnenaivopajuhriti[4], ‘tadh viddhi pranipaten[5]’ adi vachanoan dvara jnanayog arthat karmasannh‍yas ki bhi prashansa suni. isase arjun yah nirnay nahian kar sake ki in donoan mean se mere liye kaun-sa sadhan shreshh‍th hai. atev ab bhagavan ke shrimukh se hi usaka nirnay karane ke uddeshh‍y se arjun unase prashh‍n karate haian-

arjun bole- he krishh‍n! ap karmoan ke sannh‍yas ki aur phir karmayog ki prashansa karate haian. isaliye in donoan mean se jo ek mere liye bhalibhaanti nishchit kalh‍yanakarak sadhan ho, usako kahiye[6] shribhagavan bole- karmasanh‍anyas[7] aur karmayog- ye donoan hi param kalh‍yan ke karane vale haian, parantu un donoan mean bhi karmasannh‍yas se karmayog sadhan mean sugam hone se shreshh‍th hai.[8] he arjun! jo purush n kisi se dvesh karata hai aur n kisi ki akaanksha karata hai, vah karmayogi sada sannh‍yasi hi samajhane yogh‍y hai;[9] kh‍yoanki rag-dveshadi dvanh‍dvoan se rahit purush sukhapoorvak sansar bandhan se mukh‍t ho jata hai. uparyukh‍t sannh‍yas aur karmayog ko moorkh log prithak-prithak phal dene vale kahate haian n ki panditajan, kh‍yoanki donoan mean se ek mean bhi samh‍yak prakar se sthit purush donoan ke phalaroop paramatma ko praph‍t hota hai.[10] jnanayogiyoan dvara jo paramadham praph‍t kiya jata hai, karmayogiyoan dvara bhi vahi praph‍t kiya jata hai.[11] isaliye jo purush jnanayog aur karmayog ko phalaroop mean ek dekhata hai, vahi yatharth dekhata hai. parantu he arjun! karmayog ke bina sannh‍yas arthat man, indriy aur sharir dvara hone vale samh‍poorn karmoan mean kartapan ka th‍yag praph‍t hona kathin hai[12] aur bhagavath‍sh‍varoop ko man karane vala karmayogi parabrahm paramatma ko shighr hi praph‍t ho jata hai.[13] jisaka man apane vash mean hai, jo jitendriy evan vishuddh ant:karan vala hai[14] aur sampoorn praniyoan ka atmaroop paramatma hi jisaka atma hai, aisa karmayogi karm karata hua bhi lipt nahian hota.[1]

tattv ko janane vala saankhh‍yayogi[15] to dekhata hua, sunata hua, sparsh karata hua, sooanghata hua, bhojan karata hua, gaman karata hua, sota hua, shh‍vas leta hua, bolata hua, tyagata hua, grahan karata hua tatha aankhoan ko kholata aur mooandata hua bhi, sab indriyoan apane-apane arthoan mean barat rahi haian- is prakar samajhakar ni:sandeh aisa mane ki maian kuchh bhi nahian karata hooan.[16] sambandh- is prakar saankhh‍yayogi ke sadhan ka svaroop batalakar ab dasavean or gyarahavean shh‍lokoan mean karmayogiyoan ke sadhan ka phalasahit svaroop batalate haian- jo purush sab karmoan ko paramatma mean arpan karake[17] aur asakti ko tyagakar karm karata haian, vah purush jal se kamal ke patte ki bhaanti pap se lipt nahian hota. karmayogi mamatvabuddhirahit keval indriy, man, buddhi aur sharir dvara bhi asakti ko tyagakar ant:karan ki shuddhi ke liye karm karate haian.[18] karmayogi karmoan ke phal ka tyag karake bhagavatpraptiroop shanti ko prapt hota hai aur sakam purush kamana ki prerana se phal mean as‍kt hokar bandhata hai.[19] ant:karan jisake vash mean haian, aisa saankhh‍yayog ka acharan karane vala purush n karata hua aur n karavata hua hi navadvaroan vale shariraroop ghar mean sab karmoan ko man se tyagakar[20] anandapoorvak sachchidanandaghan paramatma ke svaroop mean sthit rahata haian. sambandh- jabaki atma vastav mean karm karane vala bhi nahian hai aur indriyadi se karavane vala bhi nahian hai, to phir sab manushh‍y apane ko karmoan ka karta kyoan manate haian aur ve karmaphal ke bhagi kyoan hote haian? is par kahate haian- parameshh‍var manushh‍yoan ke n to kartapan ki, n karmoan ki aur n karmaphal ke sanyog ki hi rachana karate haian;[21] kiantu svabhav hi bart raha hai.[22] sambandh- jo sadhak samast karmoan ko aur karmaphaloan ki bhagavan ke arpan karake karmaphal se apana sambandhavichchhed kar lete haian, unake shubhashubh karmoan ke phal ke bhagi kya bhagavan hote haian. is jijnasa par kahate haian- sarvavyapi parameshh‍var bhi n kisi ke papakarm ko aur n kisi ke shubhakarm ko hi grahan karata haian;[23] kiantu ajnan ke dvara jnan dhaka hua hai, usi se sab ajnani manushh‍y mohit ho rahe haian.[24][25]

parantu jinaka vah ajnan paramatma ke tattvajnan dvara nashh‍t kar diya gaya hai, unaka vah jnan soory ke sadrish us sachchidanandaghan paramatma ko prakashit kar deta hai.[26] sambandh- yatharth jnan se paramatma ki prapti hoti hai, yah bat sankshep mean kahakar ab chhabbisavean shh‍lok tak jnanayog dvara paramatma ko prapt hone ke sadhan tatha paramatma ko prapt siddh purushoan ke lakshan, acharan, mahattv aur sthiti ka varnan karane ke uddeshh‍y se pahale yahaan jnanayog ke ekant sadhan dvara paramatma ki prapti batalate haian- jinaka man tadroop ho raha hai,[27] jinaki buddhi tadrup ho rahi hai[28] aur sachchidanandaghan paramatma mean hi jinaki nirantar ekibhav se sthiti hai,[29] aise tatparayan purush[30] jnan ke dvara paparahit[31] hokar apunaravritti ko arthat param gati ko prapt hote haian.[32] ve jnanijan vidya aur vinayayukt brahman mean tatha gau, hathi, kutte aur chanh‍dal mean bhi samadarshi hi hote haian.[33] jinaka man samabhav mean sthit hai, unake dvara is jivit avash‍tha mean hi samh‍poorn sansar jit liya gaya arthat ve sada ke liye janh‍m-maran se chhootakar jivanh‍mukh‍t ho gaye; kh‍yoanki sachchidanandaghan paramatma nirdosh aur sam hai, isase ve sachchidanandaghan paramatma mean hi sthit haian[34]jo purush priy ko praph‍t hokar harshit nahian ho aur apriy ko praph‍t hokar udvigh‍n n ho,[35] vah sthir buddhi sanshayarahit brahmavetta purush sachchidanandaghanaparabrahm paramatma mean ekibhav se nith‍y sthit hai. bahar ke vishayoan mean asaktirahit aant:karan vala sadhak[36] ath‍ma mean sthit jo dhh‍yanajanit sattvik anand hai, usako praph‍t hota hai;[37] tadanantar vah sachchidanandaghan parabrahm paramatma ke dhh‍yanaroop yog mean abhinh‍nabhav se sthit[38] purush akshay anand ka anubhav karata hai.[39] jo ye indriy tatha vishayoan ke sanyog se uth‍panh‍n hone vale sab bhog haian, ve yadyapi vishayi purushoan ko sukharoop bhogate haian to bhi du:kh hi hetu haian[40] aur adi-aant vale arthat anith‍y haian. isaliye he arjun! buddhiman viveki purush unamean nahian ramata.[41][42]

jo sadhak is manushh‍y sharir mean, sharir ka nash hone se pahale-pahale hi[43] kam-krodh se uth‍panh‍n hone vale veg ko sahan karane mean samarth ho jata hai,[44] vahi purush yogi hai aur vahi sukhi hai. sanbandh-uparyukh‍t prakar se brahm vishayabhogoan ko kshanik aur du:khoan ka karan samajhakar tatha asakti ka th‍yag karake jo kam-krodh par vijay praph‍t kar chuka hai, ab aise saankhh‍yayogi ki aantim sthiti ka phalasahit varnan kiya jata hai- jo purush aantarath‍ma mean hi sukh vala hai,[45] ath‍ma mean hi raman karane vala hai[46] tatha jo atma mean hi jnan vala hai,[47] vah sachchidanandaghan parabrahm paramatma ke sath ekibhav ko prapt saankhh‍yayogi[48] shant brahm ko prapt hota hai.[49] jinake sab pap nashh‍t ho gaye haian,[50] jinake sab sanshay jnan ke dvara nivritt ho gaye haian, jo sampoorn praniyoan ke hit mean rat haian aur jinaka jita hua man nishchalabhav se paramatma mean sthit hai, ve brahmavetta purush shant brahm ko prapt hote haian. kam-krodh se rahit, jite hue chitt vale, par‍brahm paramatma ka sakshatkar kiye hue jnani purushoan ke liye sab or se shant parabrahm paramatma hi paripoorn haian.[51] sambandh- karmayog aur saankhh‍yayog- donoan sadhanoan dvara paramatma ki prapti aur paramatma ko prapt mahapurushoan ke lakshan kahe gaye. ukt donoan hi prakar ke sadhakoan ke liye vairagyapoorvak man-indriyoan ko vash mean karake dhh‍yanayog ka sadhan karana upayogi hai, at: ab sankshep mean phalasahit dhh‍yanayog ka varnan karate haian.[52]

bahar ke vishayabhogoan ko n chintan karata hua bahar hi nikalakar[53] aur netroan ki drishti ko bhrikuti ke bich mean sthit karake[54] tatha nasika mean vicharane vale pran aur apanavayu ko sam karake,[55] jisaki indriyaan, man aur buddhi jiti huee haian[56]- aisa jo mokshaparayan muni[57]ichh‍chha, bhay aur krodh se rahit ho gaya hai, vah sada mukh‍t hi hai.[58] sanbandh-jo manushh‍y is prakar man, indriyoan par vijay praph‍t karake karmayog, saankhh‍yayog ya dhh‍yanayog ka sadhan karane mean apane ko samarth nahian samajhata ho, aise sadhak ke liye sugamata se paramapad ki prapti karane vale bhaktiyog ka sankshep mean varnan karate haian- mera bhakt mujhako sab yajn aur tapoan ka bhogane vala,[59] samh‍poorn lokoan ke eeshvaroan ka bhi eeshvar[60] tatha samh‍poorn bhootapraniyoan ka suhrid[61] arthat sh‍vartharahit dayalu aur premi, aisa tatth‍v se janakar shaanti ko praph‍t hota hai.[62][63]

  7. man, vani aur sharir dvara hone vali samh‍poorn kriyaoan mean kartapan ke abhiman ka aur sharir tatha samash‍t sansar mean ahanta-mamata ka poornataya th‍yag hi ‘sannh‍yas’ shabh‍d ka arth hai. chauthe aur paanchave shh‍lokoan mean ‘sannh‍yas’ ko hi ‘saankhh‍y’ kahakar bhalibhaanti sh‍pashh‍tikaran bhi kar diya hai. atev yahaan ‘sannh‍yas’ shabh‍d ka arth ‘saankhh‍yayog’ hi manana yukh‍t hai.
  8. karmayogi karm karate hue bhi sada sannh‍yasi hi hai, vah sukhapoorvak anayas hi sansarabandhan se chhoot jata hai. (gita 5:3) use shighr hi paramatma ki prapti ho jati hai. (gita 5:6) prath‍yek avash‍tha mean bhagavan usaki raksha karate haian (gita 1:22) aur karmayog ka tho da-sa bhi sadhan janh‍m-maranaroop mahan bhay se uddhar kar deta hai. (gita 2:40) kiantu jnanayog ka sadhan kh‍leshayukh‍t hai (gita 12:5), pahale karmayog ka sadhan kiye bina usaka hona bhi kathin hai. (gita 6:6) inh‍hian sab karanoan se jnanayog ki apeksha karmayog ko shreshh‍th batalaya gaya hai.
  9. karmayogi n kisi se dvesh karata hai aur n kisi vastu ki akaanksha karata hai, vah dvandvoan se sarvatha atit ho jata hai. vastav mean sannyas bhi isi sthiti ka nam hai. jo rag-dvesh se rahit hai, vahi sachcha sannyasi hai; kyoanki use n to sannyas-ashram grahan karane ki avashh‍yakata hai aur n saankhh‍yayog ki hi. atev yahaan karmayogi ko ‘nityasannyasi’ kahakar bhagavan usaka mahattv prakat karate haian ki samast karm karate hue bhi vah sada sannyasi hi hai aur sukhapoorvak anayas hi karmabandhan se chhoot jata hai.
  10. ’saankhh‍yayog’ aur ‘karmayog’ donoan hi paramarthatattv ke jnan dvara paramapadaroop kalyan ki prapti mean hetu haian. is prakar donoan ka phal ek hone par bhi jo log karmayog ka doosara phal manate haian aur saankhh‍yayog ka doosara, ve phalabhed ki kalpana karake donoan sadhanoan ko prithak-prithak manane vale log balak haian; kyoanki donoan ki sadhanapranali mean bhed hone par bhi phal mean ekata hone ke karan vastut: donoan mean ekata hi hai. donoan nishh‍thaoan ka phal ek hi hai, atev yah kahana uchit hi hai ki ek mean poornataya sthit purush donoan ke phal ko prapt kar leta hai. gita ke terahavean adhh‍yay ke chaubisavean shh‍lok mean bhi bhagavan ne donoan ko hi atmasakshatkar ke svatantr sadhan mana haian.
  11. jaise kisi manushh‍y ko bharatavarsh se amerika ko jana hai, to vah yadi thik raste se hokar yahaan se poorv-hi-poorv disha mean jata rahe to bhi amerika pahuanch jayaga aur pashchim-hi-pashchim ki or chalata rahe to bhi amerika pahuanch jayaga. vaise hi saankhh‍yayog aur karmayog ki sadhanapranali mean paraspar bhed hone par bhi jo manushh‍y kisi ek sadhan mean dridhatapoorvak laga rahata hai, vah donoan ke hi ekamatr param lakshh‍y paramatma tak pahuanch hi jata hai.
  12. jo mumuksh purush yah manata hai ki ‘samast drishh‍y-jagat svapn ke sadrish mithh‍ya hai, ekamatr brahm hi saty hai; yah sara prapanch maya se usi brahm mean adhh‍yaropit hai, vastut: doosari koee satta hai hi nahian;’ parantu usaka ant:karan shuddh nahian hai, usamean rag-dvesh tatha kam-krodhadi dosh vartaman haian, vah yadi ant:karan ki shuddhi ke liye karmayog ka acharan n karake keval apani manyata ke bharose par hi saankhh‍yayog ke sadhan mean lagana chahega to use ‘saankhh‍yanishh‍tha’ sahaj hi nahian prapt ho sakegi.
  13. jo sab kuchh bhagavan ka samajhakar siddhi-asiddhi mean samabhav rakhate hue asakti aur phalechchha ka tyag karake bhagavadajnanusar samast kartavyakarmoan ka acharan karata hai aur shraddha-bhaktipoorvak nam, gun aur prabhavasahit shribhagavan ke svaroop chintan karata hai, vah bhaktiyukt karmayog ka sadhak muni bhagavan ki daya se paramarthajnan ke dvara shighr hi parabrahm paramatma ko prapt ho jata hai.
  14. man aur indriyaan yadi sadhak ke vash mean n ho to unaki svabhavik hi vishayoan mean pravritti hoti hai aur ant:karan mean jab tak rag-dveshadi mal rahata hai, tab tak siddhi aur asiddhi mean samabhav rahana kathin hota hai. atev jab tak man aur indriyaan bhalibhaanti vash mean n ho jayan aur ant:karan poornaroop se parishuddh n ho jay, tab tak sadhak ko vastavik karmayogi nahian kaha ja sakata. isiliye yah kaha gaya hai ki jisamean ye sab batean hoan vahi poorn karmayogi hai aur usi ko shighr brahm ki prapti hoti hai.
  15. sampoorn drishh‍y-prapanch kshanabhangur aur anity hone ke karan mrigatrishh‍na ke jal ya svapn ke sansar ki bhaanti mayamay hai, keval ek sachchidanandaghan brahm hi saty hai; usi mean yah sara prapanch maya se adhh‍yaropit hai- is prakar nityanity vastu ke tattv ko samajhakar jo purush nirantar nirgun-nirakar sachchidanandaghan parabrahm paramatma mean abhinnabhav se sthit rahata hai, vahi tattv ko janane vala saankhh‍yayogi hai.
  16. jaise svapn se jaga hua manushh‍y samajhata hai ki svapnakal mean svapn ke sharir, man, pran aur indriyoan dvara mujhe jin kriyaoan ke hone ki pratiti hoti thi, vastav mean n to ve kriyaean hoti thian aur n mera unase kuchh bhi sambandh hi tha; vaise hi tattv ko samajhakar nirvikar akriy paramatma mean abhinnabhav se sthit rahane vale saankhh‍yayogi ko bhi jnanendriy, karmendriy, pran aur man adi ke dvara lokadrishti se ki jane vali dekhane-sunane adi ki samast kriyaoan ko karate samay yahi samajhana chahiye ki ye sab mayamay man,pran aur indriy hi apane-apane mayamay vishayoan mean vichar rahe haian. vastav mean n to kuchh ho raha hai aur n mera inase kuchh sambandh hi hai.
  17. eeshh‍var ki bhakti, devataoan ka poojan, mata-pitadi gurujanoan ki seva, yajn, dan aur tap tatha varnashramanukool arthoparjanasambandhi aur khan-panadi sharir nirvah sambandhi jitane bhi shastravihit karm haian, un sabako mamata ka sarvatha tyag karake, sab kuchh bhagavan ka samajhakar, unhian ke liye unhian ki ajna aur ichchha ke anusar, jaise ve karavean vaise hi, kathaputali ki bhaanti karana- paramatma mean sab karmoan ka arpan karana hai.
  18. karmapradhan karmayogi man, buddhi, sharir aur indriyoan mean mamata nahian rakhate aur laukik svarth se sarvatha rahit hokar nishh‍kamabhav se hi samast kartavyadharm karate rahate haian.
  19. sakamabhav se kiye hue karmoan ke phalasvaroop bar-bar dev-manushh‍yadi yoniyoan mean bhatakana hi bandhan hai.
  20. svaroop se sab karmoan ka tyag kar dene par manushh‍y ki sharir yatra bhi nahian chal sakati. isaliye man se vivekabuddhi ke dvara kartrivy-karayitrittv ka tyag karana hi saankhh‍yayogi ka tyag hai.
  21. manushh‍yoan ka jo karmoan mean kartapan hai, vah bhagavan ka banaya hua nahian hai. ajnani manushh‍y ahankar ke vash mean hokar apane ko unaka karta man lete haian. (gita 3:27) manushh‍yoan ke karmoan ki rachana bhagavan nahian karate, is kathan ka yah bhav hai ki amuk shubh ya ashubh karm amuk manushh‍y ko karana p dega, aisi rachana bhagavan nahian karate; kyoan‍ki aisi rachana yadi bhagavan kar dean to vidhi-nishedhashastr hi vyarth ho jay- usaki koee sarthakata hi nahian rahe. karmaphal ke sanyog ki rachana bhi bhagavan nahian karate, is kathan ka yah bhav hai ki karmoan ke sath sambandh manushh‍yoan ka hi ajnanavash jo da hua hai. koee to asakti vash unaka karta banakar aur koee karmaphal mean asakt hokar apana sambandh karmoan ke sath jo d lete haian. yadi in tinoan ki rachana bhagavan ki ki huee hoti to manushh‍y karmabandhan se chhoot hi nahian sakata, usake uddhar ka koee upay hi nahian rah jata. at: sadhak manushh‍y ko chahiye ki karmoan ka kartapan poorvoankt prakar se prakritti ke arpan karake (gita 5.8,9) ya bhagavan ke arpan karake (gita 5:10) athava karmoan ke phal aur asakti ka sarvatha tyag karake (gita 5:12) karmoan se apana sambandhavichchhed kar le (gita 4:20). yahi sab bhav dikhalane ke liye yah kaha hai ki parameshh‍var manushh‍yoan ke kartapan, karm aur karmaphal ki rachana nahian karate.
  22. is kathan ka yah abhipray hai ki sattv, raj aur tam tinoan gun, rag-dvesh adi samast vikar, shubhashubh karm aur unake sanskar, in sabake roop mean parinat huee prakritti arthat svabhav hi sab kuchh karata haian. prakrit jivoan ke sath isaka anadisiddh sanyog hai. isi se unamean kartritvabhav utpann ho raha hai arthat ahankar se mohit hokar ve apane ko unaka karta man lete haian (gita 3:27) tatha isi mean karm aur karmaphal se bhi unaka sambandh ho jata hai aur ve unake bandhan mean p d jate haian. vastav mean atma ka inase koee sambandh nahian haian.
  23. sabake hriday mean rahane vale (gita13.17;15.15;18.61) aur sampoorn jagat ka apane sankalp dvara sanchalan karane vale sarvashaktiman sagun nirakar parameshh‍var kisi ke punh‍y-papoan ka grahan nahian karate. yadyapi samast karm unhian ki shakti se manushh‍yoan dvara kiye jate haian, sabako shakti, buddhi aur indriyaan adi unake karmanusar ve hi pradan karate haian; tathapi ve unake dvara kiye hue karmoan ko grahan nahian karate arthat svayan un karmoan ke phal ke bhagi nahian banate.
  24. yahaan yah shanka hoti hai ki yadi vastav mean manushh‍yoan ka ya parameshh‍var ka karmoan se aur unake phal se sambandh nahian hai to phir sansar mean jo manushh‍y yah samajhate hai ki ‘amuk karm maianne kiya haian’, ‘yah mera karm hai’, ‘mujhe isaka phal milega’, yah kya bat hai? isi shanka ka nirakaran karane ke liye kahate haian ki anadisiddh ajnan dvara sab jivoan ka yatharth jnan dhaka hua hai. isiliye ve apane aur parameshh‍var ke svaroop ko tatha karm ke tattv ko n janane ke karan apane mean aur eeshh‍var mean karta, karm aur karmaphal ke sambandh ki kalpana karake mohit ho rahe haian.

  26. jis prakar soory aandhakar ka sarvatha nash karake drishh‍yamatr ko prakashit kar deta hai, vaise hi yatharth jnan bhi ajnan ka sarvatha nash karake paramatma ke sh‍varoop ko bhalibhaanti prakashit kar deta hai. jinako yatharth jnan ki prapti ho jati hai, ve kabhi, kisi bhi avash‍tha mean mohit nahian hote.

  28. uparyukh‍t prakar se man ke tadroop ho jane par buddhi mean sachchidanandaghan paramatma ke sh‍varoop ka prath‍yaksh ke sadrish nishchay ho jata hai, us nishchay ke anusar nididhh‍yasan (dhh‍yan) karate-karate jo buddhi ki bhinh‍n satta n rahakar usaka sachchidanandaghan paramatma mean ekakar ho jana hai, vahi buddhi ka tadroop ho jana hai.
  29. man-buddhi ke paramatma mean ekakar ho jane ke bad sadhak ki drishti se ath‍ma aur paramatma ke bhedabhram ka nash ho jana evan dhh‍yata, dhh‍yan aur dhh‍yey ki triputi ka abhav hokar kevalamatr ek vash‍tu sachchidanandaghan paramatma ka hi rah jana tannishh‍th hona arthat paramatma mean ekibhav se sthit hona hai.
  30. uparyukh‍t prakar se ath‍ma aur paramatma ke bhedabhram ka nash ho jane par jab paramatma ke atirikh‍t anh‍y kisi ki satta nahian rahati, tab man, buddhi, pran adi sab kuchh paramath‍maroop hi ho jate haian. is prakar sachchidanandaghan paramatma ke sakshat aparokshajnan dvara unamean ekata pra‍ph‍t kar lena hi tath‍parayan ho jana hai.
  31. uparyukh‍t prakar ke sadhan se praph‍t yatharth jnan ke dvara jinake mal, vikshep aur avaranaroop samash‍t pap bhalibhaanti nashh‍t ho gaye haian, jinamean un papoan ka leshamatr bhi nahian raha hai, jo sarvatha paparahit ho gaye haian, ve ‘jnan ke dvara paparahit hue purush’ haian.
  32. jis pad ko praph‍t hokar yogi pun: nahian lautate, jisako solahavean shh‍lok mean ‘tath‍paramh’ ke nam se kaha hai, gita mean jisaka varnan kahian ‘akshay sukh’, kahian ‘nirvan brahm’, kahian ‘uttam sukh’, kahian ‘param gati’, kahian ‘paramadham’, kahian ‘avh‍yayapad’ aur kahian ‘divh‍y paramapurush’ ke nam se aya hai, us yatharth jnan ke phalaroop paramatma ko praph‍t hona hi apunaravritti praph‍t hona hai.
  33. tatth‍vajnani siddh purushoan ka visham bhav sarvatha nashh‍t ho jata hai. unaki drishti mean e‍k sachchidanandaghan parabrahm paramatma se atirikh‍t anh‍y kisi ki satta nahian rahati, isaliye unaka sarvatr samabhav ho jata hai. isi bat ko samajhane ke liye manushh‍yoan mean uttam-se-uttam shreshh‍th brahman, nich-se-nich chanh‍dal evan pashuoan mean uttam gau, madhh‍yam hathi aur nich-se-nich kutte ka udaharan dekar unake samath‍v ka digh‍darshan karaya gaya hai. in paanchoan praniyoan ke sath vh‍yavahar mean vishamata sabhi ko karani padhati hai. jaise gau ka doodh sabhi pite haian, par kutiya ka dudh koee bhi manushh‍y nahian pita. vaise hi hathi par savari ki ja sakati hai, kutte par nahian ja sakati. jo vash‍tu shariranirvaharth pashuoan ke liye upayogi hoti haian, vah manushh‍yoan ke liye nahian ho sakati. shreshh‍th brahman ke poojan-sath‍karadi karane ki shastroan ki ajna hai, chanh‍dal ke nahian. at: inaka udaharan dekar bhagavan ne yah bat samajhayi hai ki jiname vh‍yavaharik vishamata anivary hai, unamean bhi jnani purushoan ka samabhav hi rahata hai. kabhi kisi bhi karan se kahian bhi unamean vishamabhav nahian hota. jaise manushh‍y apane mash‍tak, hath aur pair adi aangoan ke sath bhi bartav mean brahman, kshatriy, vaishy aur shoodradi ke sadrish bhed rakhata hai, jo kam mash‍tak aur mukh se leta hai, vah hath aur pairoan se nahian leta; jo hath-pairoan ka kam hai, vah sir se nahian leta aur sab aangoan ke adar, man eanv shauchadi mean bhi bhed rakhata hai, tathapi unamean ath‍mabhav-apanapan saman hone ke karan vah sabhi aangoan ke sukh-du:kh ka anubhav samanabhav se hi karata hai aur sare sharir mean usaka prem ek-sa hi rahata hai, prem aur ath‍mabhav ki drishti se kahian vishamata nahian rahati; vaise hi tatth‍vajnani mahapurush ki sarvatr brahmadrishti ho jane ke karan lokadrishti se vh‍yavahar mean yathayogh‍y bhed rahane par bhi usaka ath‍mabhav aur prem sarvatr sam rahata hai.
  34. tatth‍vajnani tinoan gunoan se atit ho jata hai. at: usake rag, dvesh, moh, mamata, aanhakar adi samash‍t avagunoan ka aur vishamabhav ka sarvatha nash hokar usaki sthiti samabhav mean ho jati hai. samabhav brahm ka hi sh‍varoop hai; isaliye jinaka man samabhav mean sthit hai, ve brahm mean hi sthit hai.
  35. jo padarth man, buddhi, indriy aur sharir ke anukool hota hai, use log ‘priy’ kahate haian; un anakool padarthoan ka sanyog hone par harshit nahian hota. isi prakar jo padarth man, buddhi, indriy aur sharir ke pratikool hota hai, use log ‘apriy’ kahate haian; un pratikool padarthoan ka sanyog hone par bhi vah udvigh‍n yani dukhi nahian hota.
  36. shabh‍d, sh‍parsh, roop, ras aur ganh‍dh adi jo indriyoan ke vishay hai, unako ‘brahy-sh‍parsh’ kahate haian; jis purush ne vivek ke dvara apane man se unaki asakti ko bilh‍kul nashh‍t kar dala hai, jisaka samash‍t bhogoan mean poorn vairagh‍y hai aur jisaki un sab mean uparati ho gayi hai, vah purush bahar ke vishayoan mean asakti rahit aant:karan vala hai.
  37. indriyoan ke bhogoan ko hi sukharoop manane vale manushh‍y ko yah dhh‍yan janit sukh nahian mil sakata. bahar ke bhogoan mean vash‍tut: sukh hai hi nahian; sukh ka keval abhasamatr hai. usaki apeksha vairagh‍y ka sukh kahian badhakar hai aur vairagh‍yasukh ki apeksha bhi uparati ka sukh to bahut ooancha hai; parantu paramatma ke dhh‍yan mean atal sthiti praph‍t hone par jo sukh praph‍t hota hai, vah jo in sabase badhakar hai. aise sukh ko praph‍t hona hi ath‍ma mean sthit anand ka pana hai.
  38. uparyukh‍t prakar se jo purush indriyoan ke samash‍t vishayoan mean asaktirahit hokar up‍rati ko praph‍t ho gaya hai tatha paramatma ke dhh‍yan ki atal sthiti se uth‍panh‍n mahan sukh ka anubhav karata hai, use parabrahm paramatma ke dhh‍yanaroop yog mean abhinh‍nabhav se sthit kahate haian.
  39. sada ekaras rahane vala paramanand sh‍varoop avinashi paramatma hi ‘akshay sukh’ hai aur nith‍y-nirantar dhh‍yan karate-karate us paramatma ko jo abhinh‍nabhav se prath‍yaksh kar lena hai, yahi usaka anubhav karana hai.
  40. jaise patang ajnanavash parinam n sochakar dipak ki lau ko sukh ka karan samajhate haian aur use praph‍t karane ke liye u d-u dakar usaki or jate tatha usamean p dakar bhayanak tap sahate aur apane ko dagh‍dh kar dalate haian, vaise hi ajnani manushh‍y bhogoan ko sukh ke karan samajhakar tatha unamean asakh‍t hokar unh‍hean bhogane ki cheshh‍ta karate haian aur parinami mean mahan du:khoan ko praph‍t hote haian. vishayoan ko sukh ke hetu samajhakar unh‍hean bhogane se unamean asakti badhati hai, asakti se kam-krodhadi anarthoan ki uth‍p‍tti hoti hai aur phir unase bhaanti-bhaanti ke durgun aur durachar a-akar unh‍hean charoan or se gher lete haian. parinam yah hota hai ki unaka jivan papamay ho jata hai aur usake phalash‍varoop unh‍hean is lok aur paralok mean nana prakar ke bhayanak tap aur yatanaean bhogani p dati haian. vishayabhog ke samay manushh‍y bhramavash jin sh‍tri-prasangadi bhogoan ko sukh ka karan samajhata hai, ve hi parinam mean usake bal, viry, ayu tatha man, buddhi, pran aur indriyoan ki shakti ka kshay karake aur shash‍traviruddh hone par to paralok mean bhishan narakayanh‍tranadi ki prapti karakar mahan du:kh ke hetu ban jate haian. isake atirikh‍t ek bat yah hai ki ajnani manushh‍y jab doosare ke pas ane se adhik bhog-samagri dekhata hai, tab usake man mean eershh‍ya ki ag jal uthati hai aur vah usase jalane lagata hai. sukharoop samajhakar bhoge hue vishay kahian prarabh‍dhavash nashh‍t ho jate haian to unake sansh‍kar bar-bar unaki sh‍mriti karate haian aur manushh‍y unh‍hean yad kar-karake shokamagh‍n hota, rota-bilakhata aur pachhatata hai. in sab batoan par vichar karane se yahi siddh hota hai ki vishayoan ke sanyog se praph‍t hone vale bhog vash‍tav mean sarvatha du:kh ke hi karan haian, unamean sukh ka lesh bhi nahian hai. ajnanavashabhram se hi ve sukharoop pratit hote haian (gita 18:38).
  41. vishay-bhog vash‍tav mean anith‍y, kshanabhangur aur du:kharoop hi haian, parantu vivekahin ajnani purush is bat ko n jan-manakar usamean ramata hai aur bhaanti-bhaanti klesh bhogata hai; kiantu buddhiman viveki purush unaki anityata aur kshanabhangurata par vichar karata hai tatha unhean kam-krodh, pap-tap adi anarthoan mean hetu samajhata hai aur unaki asakti ke tyag ko akshay sukh ki prapti mean karan samajhata hai, isaliye vah unamean nahian ramata.

  43. isase yah batalaya gaya hai ki sharir nashavan hai- isaka viyog hona nishchit hai aur yah bhi pata nahian ki yah kis kshan mean nashh‍t ho jayaga; isaliye mrityukal upasthit hone se pahale-pahale hi kam-krodh par vijay prapt kar leni chahiye.

(purush ke liye) stri, (stri ke liye) purush, (donoan hi ke liye) putr, dhan, makan ya svargadi jo kuchh bhi dekhe-sune hue man aur indriyoan ke vishay haian, unamean asakti ho jane ke karan unako prapt karane ki jo ichchha hoti hai, usaka nam ‘kam’ haian aur usake karan ant:karan mean hone vale nana prakar ke sankalp-vikalpoan ka jo pravah hai, vah kam se utpann hone vala ‘veg’ hai. isi prakar man, buddhi aur indriyoan ke pratikul vishayoan ki prapti hone par athava ishh‍t-prapti ki ichchhapoorti mean badha upasthi‍t hone par us sthiti ke karanabhoot padarth ya jivoan ke prati dveshabhav utpann hokar ant:karan mean jo ‘uttejana’ ka bhav ata hai, usaka nam ‘krodh’ hai aur us krodh ke karan hone vale nana prakar ke sankalp-vikalpoan ka jo pravah hai, vah krodh se utpann hone vala ‘veg’ hai. in vegoan ko shantipoorvak sahan karane ki arthat inhean karyanvit n hone dene ki shakti prapt kar lena hi inako sahan karane mean samarth hona hai.
  45. yahaan ‘ant:’ shabd sampoorn jagat ke ant:sthi‍t paramatma ka vachak hai, ant:karan ka nahian. isaka yah abhipray hai ki jo purush bahy vishayabhogaroop saansarik sukhoan ko svapn ki bhaanti anity samajh lene ke karan unako sukh nahian manata, kiantu in sabake ant:sthit param anandasvaroop paramatma mean hi ‘sukh’ manata hai, vahi ‘ant:sukh’ arthat antaratma mean hi sukh vala hai.
  46. jo bahy vishay-bhogoan mean satta aur sukh-‍buddhi n rahane ke karan unamean raman nahian karata, in sabamean asaktirahit hokar keval paramatma mean hi raman karata hai arthat paramanandasvaroop paramatma ka hi nirantar abhinnabhav se chintan karata rahata hai, vah ‘antararam’ arthat atma mean hi raman karane vala kahalata hai.
  47. paramatma samast jyotiyoan ki bhi param jyoti hai. (gita 13:17) sampoorn jagat usi ke prakash se prakashit hai. jo purush nirantar abhinnabhav se aise param jnanasvaroop paramatma ka anubhav karata hua usi mean sthit rahata hai, jisaki drishti mean ek vijnananandasvaroop paramatma ke atirikt any kisi bhi bahy drishh‍y vastu ki bhinn satta hi nahian rahi hai, vahi ‘antajyoti’ arthat atma mean hi jnan vala hai.
  48. saankhh‍yayog ka sadhan karane vala yogi ahankar, mamata aur kam-krodhadi samast avagunoan ka tyag karake nirantar abhinnabhav se paramatma ka chintan karate-karate jab brahmaroop ho jata hai- usaka brahm ke sath kinchinmatr bhi bhed nahian rahata, tab is prakar ki antim sthiti ko prapt saankhh‍yayogi ‘brahmaroop’ arthat sachchidanandaghan parabrahm paramatma ke sath ekibhav ko prapt kahalata hai.
  49. ‘shant brahm (brahmanirvan)’ sachchidanandaghan, nirgun, nirakar, nirvikalp evan shant paramatma ka vachak hai aur abhinnabhav se pratyaksh ho jana hi usaki prapti hai. saankhh‍yayogi ki jis antim avastha ka ‘brahmabhoot’ shabd se nirdesh kiya gaya hai, yah usi ka phal hai. shru‍ti mean bhi kaha hai- ‘brahmaiv sanh brahmapyeti’ (brihadaranh‍yak up. 4.4.6) arthat ‘vah brahm hi hokar brahm ko prapt hota hai.’ isi ko param shanti ki prapti, akshay sukh ki prapti, brahmaprapti, mokshaprapti aur paramagati ki prapti kahate haian.
  50. is janh‍m aur janh‍maantar mean kiye hue karmoan ke sansh‍kar, rag-dveshadi dosh tatha unaki vrittiyoan ke panj, jo manushh‍y ke aant:karan mean ikatthe rahate haian, bandhan mean hetu hone ke karan sabhi kalh‍mash-pap haian. paramatma ka sakshath‍kar ho jane par in sab ka nash ho jata hai. phir us purush ke aant:karan mean dosh ka leshamatr bhi nahian rahata.
  51. yahaan ‘kamakrodhaviyukh‍tanamh’ se mal dosh ka, ‘yatachetasamh’, se vikshepadosh ka aur ‘viditath‍manamh’ se avaran-dosh ka sarvatha abhav dikhalakar paramatma ke poorn jnan ki prapti batalayi gayi hai. isaliye ‘yati’ shabh‍d ka arth yahaan saankhh‍yayog ke dvara paramatma ko praph‍t ath‍masanyami tatth‍vajnani manana uchit hai. paramath‍m ko praph‍t jnanimahapurushoan ke anubhav mean oopar-niche, bahar-bhitar, yahaan-vahaan, sarvatr nith‍y-nirantar ek vijnananandadhan parabrahm paramatma hi vidyaman haian- ek advitiy paramatma ke siva anh‍y kisi bhi padarth ki satta hi nahian hai, isi abhipray se kaha gaya hai ki unake liye sabhi or se paramatma hi paripoorn hai.

  55. pran aur apan ki sh‍vabhavik gati visham hai. kabhi to ve vam nasika mean vicharate haian aur kabhi dakshin nasika mean. vam mean chalane mean idanadi mean chalana aur dakshin mean chalane ko piangala mean chalana kahate haian. aisi avash‍tha mean manushh‍y ka chitt chanchaj rahata hai. is prakar vishamabhav se vicharane vale pran aur apan ki gati ko donoan nasikaoan mean samanabhav se kar dena unako sam karana hai. yahi unaka sushumh‍na mean chalana hai. sushumh‍na nadi par chalate samay pran aur apan ki gati bahut hi sookshh‍m aur shaant rahati hai. tab man ki chanchalata aur ashaanti apane-ap hi nashh‍t ho jati hai aur vah sahaj hi paramatma ke dhh‍yan mean lag jata hai.
  56. indriyaan chahe jab, chahe jis vishay mean sh‍vachh‍chhand chali jati haian, man sada chanchal rahata hai aur apani adat ko chho dana hi nahian chahata, evan buddhi ek param nishchayatal nahian rahati- yahi inaka sh‍vatantr ya uchh‍chhriankhal ho jana hai. vivek aur vairagh‍yapoorvak abhh‍yas dvara inh‍hean sushrriankhal, ajnakari aur aantarmukhi ya bhagavannishh‍th bana lena hi inako jitana hai.
  57. ’muni’ mananashil ko kahate haian, jo purush dhh‍yan-kal ki bhaanti vh‍yavahar kal mean bhi paramatma ki sarvavh‍yapakata ka dridh nishchay hone ke karan sada paramatma ka hi man karata rahata hai, vahi ‘muni’ hai.
  58. jo mahapurush uparyukh‍t sadhanoan dvara ichh‍chha, bhay aur krodh se sarvatha rahit ho gaya hai, vah dhh‍yan kal mean ya vh‍yavahar kal mean, sharir rahate ya sharir chhoot jane par, sabhi avash‍thaoan mean sada mukh‍t hi hai-sansarabandhan se sada ke liye sarvatha chhootakar paramatma ko praph‍t ho chuka hai, isamean kuchh bhi sandeh nahian hai.
  59. aanhisa, sath‍y adi dharmoan ka palan, devata, brahman, mata-pita adi gurujanoan ka sevan-poojan, din-dukhi, garib aur pi dit jivoan ki sh‍neh aur adarayukh‍t seva aur unake du:khanash ke liye jane vale uparyukh‍t sadhan evan yajn, dan adi jitane bhi shubh karm haian, sabhi ka samavesh ‘yajn’ aur ‘tap’ shabh‍doan mean samajhana chahiye. bhagavan sab ke ath‍ma haian (gita 10:20), atev devata, brahman, din-dukhi adi ke roop mean sthit hokar bhagavan hi samash‍t seva-poojadi grahan kar rahe haian. isaliye ve hi samash‍t yajn aur tapoan ke bhokh‍ta haian. (gita 9:24) is prakar samajhana hi bhagavan ko ‘yajn aur tapoan ka bhogane vala’ samajhana hai.
  60. inh‍dr, varun, kuber, yamaraj adi jitane bhi lokapal haian tatha vibhinh‍n brahmanh‍doan mean apane-apane brahmanh‍d ka niyanh‍tran karane vale jitane bhi eeshvar haian, bhagavan un sabhi ke sh‍vami aur mahan eeshvar haian. isi se shruti mean kaha hai- ‘tamishh‍varanan paraman maheshvaramh’ ‘un eeshvaroan ke bhi param maheshvar ko’ (shh‍vetashvatar up0 6.7). apani anirvachaniy maya-shakti dvara bhagavan apani lila se hi samh‍poorn anantakoti brahmanh‍doan ki uth‍patti, sthiti aur sanhar karate hue sabako yathayogh‍y niyanh‍tran mean rakhate haian aur aisa karate hue bhi ve sabase oopar hi rahate haian. is prakar bhagavan ko sarvashaktiman, sarvaniyanta, sarvadhh‍yaksh aur sarveshh‍vareshh‍var samajhana hi unh‍hean ‘sarvalokamaheshh‍var’ samajhana hai.
  61. bhagavan sh‍vabhavik hi sab par anugrah karake sabake hit ki vh‍yavash‍tha karate haian aur bar-bar avatirn hokar nana prakar ke aise vichitr charitr karate haian, jinh‍hean ga-gakar hi log tar jate haian. unaki prath‍yek kriya mean jagat ka hit bhara rahata hai. bhagavan jinako marate ya danh‍d dete haian, un par bhi daya hi karate haian, unaka koee bhi vidhan daya aur prem se rahit nahian hota. isiliye bhagavan sab bhootoan ke suhrid haian.
  62. jo purush is bat ko jan leta hai aur vishh‍vas kar leta hai ki ‘bhagavan mere ahaitum premi haian, ve jo kuchh bhi karate haian, mere mangal ke liye hi karate haian’, vah prath‍yek avash‍tha mean jo kuchh bhi hota hai, usako dayamay parameshh‍var ka prem aur daya se otaprot mangalavidhan samajhakar sada hi prasanh‍n rahata hai. isaliye use atal shaanti mil jati hai. usaki shaanti mean kisi prakar ki badha upasthit hone ka koee karan hi nahian rah jata.
