jo-jo sakam bhakt jis-jis devata ke svaroop ko shraddha se poojana chahata hai,[16] us-us bhakt ki shraddha ko maian usi devata-ke prati sthir karata hooan. vah purush us shraddha se yukt hokar us devata ka poojan karata hai aur us devata se mere dvara hi vidhan kiye hue un ichchhit bhogoan ko niahsandeh prapt karata hai. parantu un alp buddhivalo ka[17] vah phal nashavanh hai tatha ve devataoan ko poojane vale devatao ko prapt hote haianan aur mere bhakt chahe jaise hi bhaje, ant mean ve mujhako hi prapt hote haian[18] sambandh - jab bhagavanh itane premi aur dayasagar haian ki jis-kisi prakar se bhi bhajane vale ko apane svaroop ki prapti kara hi dete haian, to phir sabhi log unako kyoan nahi bhajate, is jijnasa par kahate haian-- n janate hue[19] man-indriyoan se pare mujh sachidanandaghan paramatma ko manushy ki bhaanti janakar vyaktibhav ko prapt hua manate haianan.[20] kyoanki apani yogamaya se chhipa hua[21] maian sabake pratyaksh nahi hota, isaliye yah ajnani janasamuday mujh janmarahit avinashi parameanshvar ko nahi janata arthat mujhako janm se-marane vala samajhata hai.[22] he arjun! poorv mean vyatit hue aur vartaman mean sthit tatha age vale sab bhooto ko maian janata hooan,[23] parantu mujhako koee bhi shraddha-bhaktirahit purush nahi janata.[24] kyoki he bharatavanshi arjun! sansar mean ichchha aur dvesh se utpann sukh-duahkh adi dvandvaroop moh se[25] sampoorn prani atyant ajnat ko prapt ho rahe hai. parantu nishkamabhav se shreshth karmoan ka acharan karane vale jin purusho ka pap nasht ho gaya hai, ve rag dveshajanit dvandvaroop moh se mukt dradhanishrayi bhakt mujhako sab prakar se bhajate haianan[26] jo mere sharan hokar jara aur maran se chhootane ke liye yatn karate haianan,[27] ve purush us brahm ko, sampoorn adhh‍yatm ko aur sampoorn karm ko janate haianan. evan jo purush adhibhoot aur adhidaiv ke sahit tatha adhiyajn-ke sahit (sabake atmaroop) mujhe antakal mean bhi janate haianan, ve yuktachith‍t vale purush mujhe janate haianan[28] arthat prapt ho jate haianan.[29]

  4. jo sharirik ya manasik santap, vipatti, shatrubhay, rog, apaman, chor, dakoo aur atatathiyoan ke athava hianstr janavaroan ke akraman adi se dhagarakar anase chhootane ke liye poorn vishras ke sath haday ki adig shraddha se bhagavanh bhajan karata hai. vah art bhakt hai. art gajaraj, jarasangh ke bandi rajagan adi bahut-se mane jate haian; parantu sati draupadi nam mukhyataya liya jata hai.
  5. dhan, stri, putr,grih adi vastuoan ki aur rog-sankatadi ki parava n karake ekamatr paramatma ko tattv se janane- ki ichchha se hi jo ekanishth hokar bhagavanh ki bhakti karata hai, us kalyanakami bhakt ko jijnasu kahate haian. jijnasu bhakto mean parikshith adi aneko ke nam hai, parantu uddhavaji ka nam vishesh prasiddh hai.
  6. jo paramatmako prapt kar chuke hai jinaki dshti mean ek paramatma hi rah gaye hai-paramatma ke atirikt aur kuchh hai hi nahi aur is prakar paramatma ko prapt kar lene se jinaki samast kamanaean niahshesh roop se samapt ho chuki hai, tatha aisi sthiti mean jo sahat bhav se hi paramatma ka bhajan karate haian. ve jnani hai,. gita ke navean adhyapak ke terah ve aur chaudahavean shloko mean tatha dasavean adhyapak tisare aur pandrahavean adhyapak ke unnisavean shlok mean jinaka varnan hai, ve nishkam ananay premi sadhak bhakt bhi jnani bhakto ke antargat hai. jnaniyo mean shukradevaji, sanakadi, naradaji aur bhishmaji adi prasiddh hai. balak prahalad bhi jnani bhakt mane jate haian.
  7. sansar, sharir aur apane-apako sarvatha bhulakar jo ananyabhavase nity-nirantar keval bhagavanh mean sthit hai, use nityayukt kahate haian. aur jo bhagavanh mean hi heturahit aur aviral prem karata hai ekabhakti kahate haian; aisa bhagavanh ke tattv ko janane vala jnani bhakt any sabase uttam hai.

  10. is kathan se bhagavanh yah bhav dikhala rahe haian ki jnani bhakt mean aur mujhamean kuchh bhi antar nahi hai. bhakt hai so maian hoo aur maian hoo so bhakt hai.
  11. jis janm mean manushy bhagavanh ka jnani bhakt ban jata hai, vahi usake bahut-se janam ki ant ka janm hai; kyoki bhagavanh ko is prakar tattv se jan lene pashchath usaka pun; janm nahi hota vahi usaka antim janm hota hai.
  12. bhagavan ne isi adhyay ke doosare shlok mean vijnanasahit jis jnan ke janane ki prashansa ki thi, jis premi bhakt ne us vijnanasahit jnan ko prapt kar liya hai tatha tisare shlok mean jisake liye kaha hai ki koee ek hi mujhe tattv se janata hai, usi ke liye yahaan jnanavanh shabd ka prayog hua hai. isiliye atharahavean shlok mean bhagavanh ne usako apana svaroop batalaya hai.
  13. sampoorn jagat bhagavanh vasudev ka svaroop hai, vasudev ke siva aur kuchh hai hi nahi, is tattv ka pratyaksh aur atal anubhav ho jana aur usi mean nity sthit rahana - yahi sab kuchh vasudev hai, is prakar se bhagavanh ka bhajan karana hai. janm-janmantar mean kiye hue karmo se sanskaro ka sanchay hota hai aur us sansakar samooh se jo prakriti banati hai, use svabhav kaha jata hai. svabhav pratyek jivaka bhinn hota hai us svabhav ke anusar jo antah karan mean bhinn-bhinn devataoan ka poojan karane ki bhinn-bhinn ichchha utpann hoti hai, usi ko usase prerit hona kahate haian.

  18. bhagavanh ke litay divy paramadham mean nirantar bhagavanh ke samip nivasakarana athava abhedabhavase bhagavanh mean ekatv ko prapt ho jana, dono hi ko nam bhagavatprapti hai.
  19. apani anant dayaluta aur sharanagatavatsalata ke karan jagat ke praniyo ko apani sharanagati ka sahara dene ke liye hi bhagavanh apane ajanma, avinashi aur maheshvar svabhav tatha samarthy sahit hi nana savaroopoan mean prakat hote haian aur apani alaukik lilao se jagat ke praniyo ko paramanand ke mahanh sagar mean nimagn kar dete haian. bhagavanh ka yahi nity, anuttam aur param bhav hai tatha isako n samajhana hi unake anuttam avinashi paramabhavako n janana hai.
  20. bhagavan ke nirgun-sagun dono hi roop nity aur divy hai. manushy adi roop mean unaka pradurbhav hona hi janm hai aur antarghan ho jana hi paramaghamagaman hai. anay praniyo ki bhaanti sharir -sanyog -viyogaroop janm-maran unake nahi hote. is rahasy ko n samajhane ke karan buddhihin manushy samajhate haian ki jaise any sab prani janm se pahale avyakt the arthat unaki koee satta nahi thi, ab janm lekar vyakt hue hai isi prakar yah shrikrishn bhi janam se pahale nahi tha, ab vasudev ke ghar mean janm lekar vyakt hua hai; anay manushyo mean isamean antar hi kya hai arthat koee bhed nahi haian. yahi buddhihin manushy ko bhagavan ko avyakt se vyakt aua manana hai.

  27. yahaan bhagavanh yah kahate haian ki ‘jo sansar ke sab vishayoan ke ashray ko chho dakar dridh vishh‍vas ke sath ekamatr mera hi ashray lekar nirantar mujhamean hi man-buddhi ko lagaye rakhate haian, ve mere sharan hokar yatn karane vale haian.’
