sambandh- is adhyay ke tisare shlok mean bhagavan ne kshetr ke vishay mean char batean aur kshetrajn ke vishay mean do batean sankshep mean sunane ke liye arjun se kaha tha, phir vishay arambh karate hi kshetr ke svaroop ka aur usake vikaroan ka varnan karane ke anantar kshetr aur kshetrajn ke tattv ko bhali-bhaanti janane ke upay bhoot sadhanoan ka aur janane ke yogy paramatma ke svaroop ka varnan prasang vash kiya gaya. isase kshetr ke vishay mean usake svabhav ka aur kis karan se kaun-sa kary utpann hota hai, is vishay ka tatha prabhav sahit kshetrajn ke svaroop ka bhi varnan nahian hua. atah ab un sabaka varnan karane ke liye bhagavan punah prakriti aur purush ke nam se prakaran arambh karate haian- prakriti[2] aur purush in donoan ko hi tu anadi jan.[3] aur rag dveshadi vikaroan ko tabha trigunatmak sampoorn padarthoan ko prakriti se hi utpann jan. sambandh- is adhyay ke tisare shlok mean, jisase jo utpann hua hai, yah bat sunane ke liye kaha gaya tha, usaka varnan poorv shlok ke uttararddh mean kuchh kiya gaya. ab usi ki kuchh bat is shlok ke poorvarddh mean kahate hue isake uttararddh mean aur ikkisavean shlok mean prakriti mean sthit purush ke svaroop ka varnan kiya jata hai- kary aur karan ko utpann karane mean hetu prakriti kahi jati hai[4] aur jivatma sukh duahkh ke bhoktapan mean arthat bhogane mean hetu kaha jata hai.[5][1]

prakriti mean sthit hi purush prakriti se utpann trigunatmak padarthoan ko bhogata hai[6] aur in gunoan ka sang hi is jivatma ke achchhi buri yoniyoan me pravesh lene ka karan hai.[7] sambandh-is prakar prakritisth purush ke svaroop ka varnan karane ke bad ab jivatma aur paramatma ki ekata karate hue atma ke gunatit svaroop ka varnat karate haian- is deh mean sthit yah atma vastav mean paramatma hi hai.[8] vahi sakshi hone se upadrashta aur yatharth sammati dene vala hone se anumanta, sabaka dharan-poshan karane vala hone se bharta, jivanaroop se bhokta, brahm adi ka svami hone se maheshvar aur shuddh sachchidanandaghan hone se paramatma- aisa kaha gaya hai.[9]

is prakar purushoan aur gunoan ke sahit prakriti ko jo manushy tattv se janata hai,[10] vah sab prakar ke kartavy karm karata hua bhi[11] phir nahian janmata.[12] sambandh- is prakar gunoan ke sahit prakriti aur purush ke jnan ka mahattv sunakar yah achchha ho sakati hai ki aisa jnan kaise hota hai. isaliye ab do shlokoan dvara bhinn-bhinn adhikariyoan ke liye tattvajnan ke bhinn-bhinn sadhanoan ka pratipadan karate haianan- us paramatma ko kitane hi manushy to shuddh huee sookshm buddhi se dhyan ke dvara hriday mean dekhate haianan.[13] any kitane hi jnanayog ke dvara[14] aur doosare kitane hi karmayog dvara[15] dekhate haianaian arthat prapt karate haianan. parantu isamean doosare, arthat jo mand buddhi vale purush haian, ve is prakar n janate hue doosaroan se arthat tattv ke janane vale purushoan se sunakar hi tadanusar upasana karate haianan. aur ve shravanaparayan purush bhi mrityuroop sansar-sagar ko niahsandeh tar jate haianan. sambandh- is prakar paramatma sambandhi tattvajnan ke bhinn-bhinn sadhanoan ka pratipadan karake ab tisarean shlok me jo ‘yadakh’ pad se kshetr ke svabhav ko sunane ke liye kaha tha, usake anusar bhagavan do shlokoan dvara us kshetr ko utpatti-vinashashil batalakar usake svabhav ka varnan karate hue atma ke yarthath tattvoan ko janane vale ki prashansa karate haianan. he arjun! jitane bhi sthavar-jangam prani utpann hote haianan, un sabako too kshetr aur kshetrajn ke sanyog se hi utpann jan.[16][17]

jo purush nasht hote hue sab charachar bhootoan mean parameshvar ko nasharahit aur samabhav se sthit dekhata hai, vahi yarthath dekhata hai.[18] kyoanki jo purush sab mean samabhav se sthit parameshvar ko saman dekhata hua apane dvara apane ko nasht nahian karata,[19] isase vah paramagati ko prapt hota hai. sambandh- is prakar nity vijnanandaghan atmatattv ko sarvatr samabhav se dekhane ka mahattv aur phal batalakar ab agale shlok mean use akarta dekhane vale ki mahima kahate haian- aur jo purush sampoorn karmoan ko sab prakar se prakriti ke dvara hi kiye jate hue dekhata hai aur atma ko akarta dekhana hai, vahi yarthath dekhata hai.[20] jis kshan yah purush bhootoan ke prithak-prithak bhav ko ek paramatma mean hi sthit tatha us paramatma se hi sampoorn bhootoan ka vistar dekhata hai,[21]usi kshan vah sachchidanandaghan brahm ko prapt ho jata hai. sambandh- is prakar atma ko sab praniyoan mean samabhav se sthit, nirvikar aur akarta batalaya jane par yahaan shanka hoti hai ki samast shariroan me rahata hua bhi atma unake doshoan se nirlipt aur akarta kaise rah sakata hai; is shanka ka nivaran karane ke liye ab bhagavan- is adhyay ke tisare shlok mean jo ‘yatprabhavashch’ pad se kshetrajn ka prabhav sunane ka sanket kiya gaya tha, usake anusar- tin shlokoan dvara atma ke prabhav ka varnan karate haianan.[22]

he arjun! anadi hone se aur nirgun hone se yah avinashi paramatma[23] sharir mean sthit hone par bhi vastav mean n to kuchh karata hai aur n lipt hi hota hai.[24] sambandh-sharir mean sthit hone par bhi atma kyoan nahian lipt hota hai is par kahate haianan- jis prakar sarvatr vyapt akash sookshm hone ke karan lipt nahian hota,[25] vaise hi deh mean sarvatr sthit atma nirgun hone ke karan deh ke gunoan se lipt nahian hota. he arjun! jis prakar ek hi soory is sampoorn brahmand ko prakashit karata hai, usi prakar ek hi atma sampoorn kshetr ko prakashit karata hai.[26] sambandh-tisare shlok mean jin chhah batoan ko kahane ka bhagavan ne sanket kiya tha, unaka varnan karake ab is adhyay mean varnit samast upadesh ko bhalibhaanti samajhane ka phal par brahm paramatma ki prapti batalate hue adhyay ka upasanhar karate haianan- is prakar kshetr aur kshetrajn bhed ko tatha karyasahit prakriti se mukt hone ko jo purush jnan- netroan dvara tattv se janate haian,[27]ve mahatmajan paramabrahm paramatma ko prapt hote haianan.[28]

  2. yahaan ‘prakriti’ shabd eeshvar ki anadisiddh mool prakriti vachak hai gita ke chaudahavean adhyay ke tisare shlok mean isi prakar mahadbrahm ke nam se kaha gaya hai. satavean adhyay ke chauthe aur paanchavean shlokoan mean apara prakriti ke nam se aur isi adhyay ke paanchavean shlok kshetr ke nam se bhi isi ka varnan hai. bhed itana hi hai ki vahaan satavean adhyay mean usake kary- man, buddhi, ahankar aur panchamahabhootadi ke sahit prakriti ka varnan hai aur yahaan keval ‘mool prakriti’ varnan hai.
  3. jivaka jivatv arthat prakriti ke sath usaka sambandh kisi hetu se hone vala- agantuk nahianan hai yah anadi- siddh hai aur isi prakar eeshvar ki shakti yah prakriti bhi anadisiddh hai- aisa samajhana chahiye.
  4. akash, vayu, agni, jal aur prithvi yah paanchoan sookshm mahabhoot tatha shabd, sparsh, roop, ras, aur gandh- ye paanchoan indriyoan ke vishay; in dasoan ka vachak yahaan ‘kary’ shabd hai. buddhi, ahankar aur man- yah tinoan antahkaran; shrotr, tvacha, netr, rasana, aur ghran- yah paanchoan indriyaan evan vakh, hast, pad, upasth, aur guda yah paanchoan kamendriyaan; in tarah ka vachak yahaan ‘karan’ shabd hai. ye teees tattv prakriti se hi utpann hote haianan, prakriti hi unaka utpadan karan hai; kyoanki prakriti mahattattv, mahattattv se ahankar, ahankar se paanch sookshm mahabhoot, man aur das indriy tatha paanch sookshm mahabhootoan se paanchoan indriyoan ke shabdadi paanchoan sthool vishayoan ki utpatti mani jati haian. saankhyakarika mean bhi kaha hai-
    prakritermahaanstatoah dakarastasmadh ganashch shodashakah. tasmadapi shodashakath panchabhyah panch bhootani.. (saankhyakarika 22)

    prakriti mahattattv (samashtibuddhi) ki yani buddhitattv ki, usase ahankar ki aur ahankar se paanch tanmatraean, ek man aur das indriyaan- in solah ke samuday ki utpatti huee tatha un solah mean se paanch tanmatraoan se paanch sthoolabhootoan ki utpatti huee.
    gita ke varnan mean paanch tanmatraoan ki jagah paanch sookshm mahabhootoan ka nam aya hai aur paanch sthoolabhootoan ke sthan mean paanch indriyoan ke vishayoan ka nam aya hai, itana hi bhed hai.

  5. prakriti j d hai, usamean bhoktapan ki sambhavana nahian hai aur purush asang hai, isaliye usamean bhi vastav mean bhoktapan nahian hai. prakriti ke sang se hi purush mean bhoktapan ki pratiti-si hoti hai, aur yah prakriti purush ka sang anadi hai, isaliye yahaan purushoan ka sukh-dukhoan ke bhoktapan mean hetu yani nirmit mana jata hai.
  6. prakriti bane hue sthool, sookshm aur karan- in tinoan shariroan mean se kisi bhi sharir ke sath jab tak is jivatma-ka sambandh rahata hai, tab tak vah prakriti mean sthit (prakritisth) kahalata hai., atev jab tak atma prakriti ke sath sambandh rahata hai, tabhi tak vah prakritijanit gunoan ka bhokta haian.
  7. manushy se lekar ooanchi jitani bhi devadi yoniyaan haian, sab sath-yoniyaan haian aur manushy se nichi jitani bhi pashu, pakshi, vriksh, lata adi yoniyaan haian, ve asath haian. sattv, raj aur tam- in tinoan gunoan ke sath jo jiv ka anadisiddh sambandh hai evan unake kary roop saansarik padarthoan mean jo asakti hogi, usaki vaisi hi vasana hogi, vasana ke anusar hi antakal mean smriti hogi aur usi ke anusar use punajanm prapt hoga. isiliye yahaan achchhi-buri yoniyoan ki prapti mean gunoan ke sang ko karan batalaya gaya hai.
  8. prakriti janit shariroan ki upadhi se jo chetan atma ajnan ke karan jivabhav ko prapt-sa pratit hota hai, vah kshetrajn vastav mean is prakriti se sarvatha atit paramatma hi haian, kyoanki us parabrahm paramatma mean aur kshetrajn mean vastutah kisi prakar ka bhed nahian hai, keval sharir roop upadhi se hi bhed ki pratiti ho rahi hai.
  9. is kathan se is bat ka prativadan kiya gaya hai ki bhinn-bhinn nimittoan se par brahm bhinn- bhinn namoan se pukara jata hai. vastudrishti se brahm mean kisi prakar ka bhed nahian haian.
  10. jitane bhi prithak-prithak kshetrajnoan ki pratiti hoti hai, sab us ek parabraha paramatma ke hi abhinn svaroop haian; prakriti ke sang unamean bhinnata-si pratit hoti hai. vastutah koee bhed nahian hai. aur vah paramatma nity, shuddh, buddh, mukt aur avinashi tatha prakriti se sarvatha atit hai, in batoan ko sanshayarahit yatharth samajh lena evan ekibhav se us sachchidanandaghan nity sthit ho jana hi ‘purush tattv se janana’ hai. tinoan gun prakriti se utpann haian, yah samast vishv prakriti ka hi pasara hai aur vah nashavan, j d, kshanabhangur aur anity hai- is rahasy ko samajh lena hi gunoan ke sahit prakriti ko tattv se janana hai.
  11. vah brahman, kshatriy, vaishy, shoodr kisi bhi varn evan brahmacharyadi kisi bhi ashram mean rahata hua tatha un-un varnashramoan ke liye shastr mean vidhan kiye hue samast karmoan ko yathayogy karata hua bhi vastav mean kuchh bhi nahian karata. yahaan ‘sarvatha vartamanah’ ka arth nishiddh karm karata hua nahian samajhana chahiye; kyoanki atmatattv ko janane vale jnani mean kam- krodhadi doshoan ka sarvatha abhav ho jane ke karan (gita 5:26) usake dvara nishiddh karm ka banana sambhav nahian hai. isiliye isaka acharan sansar mean pramanaroop mane jate haianan. (gita 3:21) papoan mean manushy ki pravriti kam-krodhadi avagunoan ke karan hi hoti hai; arjun ke poochhane par bhagavan tisare adhyay ke saitisavean shlok mean is bat ko spasht roop se kah bhi diya hai.
  12. prakriti aur purush ke tattv ko jan lene ke sath hi purush ka prakriti se sambandh toot jata hai; kyoanki prakriti aur purush ka sanyog svapnavat, avastavik aur keval ajnanajanit mana gaya hai. jab tak prakriti ka purush ko poorn jnan nahianan hota, tabhi tak purush ka prakriti se aur usake gunoan se sambandh rahata hai. aur tabhi tak usaka bar-bar yoniyoan mean janm hota hai. (gita 13:21) atev inaka tattv jan lene ke bad purnajanm nahian hota. atev inaka tattv jan lene ke bad purnajanm nahian hota.
  13. gita ke chhathe adhyay ke gyarahavean, barahavean aur terahavean shlokoan mean batalayi huee vidhi ke anusar shuddh aur ekant sthan mean upayukt asan par nishchalabhav se baithakar indriyoan ko vishayoan se hatakar, man ko vash mean karake tatha ek paramatma ke siva drishy- matr ko bhoolakar nirantar paramatma ka chintan karana dhyan hai. is prakar dhyan karate rahane se buddhi shuddh ho jati hai. aur us vishuddh sookshmabuddhi se jo hriday mean sachchidanandaghan par brahm paramatma ka sakshatkar kiya jata hai, vahi dhyan dvara atma-se-atma mean atma ko dekhana hai. parantu bhedabhav se sagun-nirakar ka aur sagun-sakar ka dhyan karane vale sadhak bhi yadi is prakar ka phal chahate hoan to unako bhi abhed bhav se nirgun-nirakar sachchidanandaghan braha ki prapti ho sakati hai.
  14. sampoorn padarth bhrigatrishna ke jal athava svapn ki srishti ke sadrish maya matr hai; isaliye prakriti ke kary roop samast gun hi gunoan mean barat rahe haian- aisa samajhakar man, indriy aur sharir dvara hone vale samast karmoan mean kartapan ke abhiman se rahit ho jana tatha sarvavyapi sachchidanandaghan paramatma mean ekibhav se nity sthit rahate hue ek sachchidanandaghan paramatma ke siva any kisi mean bhi bhinn-satta n samajhana- yah ‘saankhyayog’ namak sadhan hai aur isake dvara jo atma aur paramatma ke abhed ka pratyaksh hokar sachchidanandaghan brahm ka abhinn bhav se prapt ho jana hai, vahi saankhyayog ke dvara atma-atma mean dekhana hai. yah sadhan sadhanachatushtayasampann adhikari ke dvara hi sugamata se kiya ja sakata hai. isaka vistar ‘gitatattv-vivechani’ mean dekhana chahiye.
  15. jis sadhan ka gita ke doosare adhyay mean chalisavean shlok ukt adhyay ki samapti paryant phalasahit varnan kiya gaya hai, usaka vachak yahaan ‘karmayog’ hai. arthat asakti aur karmaphal ka sarvatha tyag karake siddhi aur asiddhi mean samatv rakhate hue shastranusar nishkamabhav se apane apane varn aur ashram ke anusar sab prakar ke vihitakarmoan ka anushthan karana karmayog hai aur isake dvara jo sachchidanandaghan par brahm paramatma ko abhinn bhav se prapt ho jana hai, vahi karmayog ke dvara atma mean atma ko dekhana haian.
  16. is adhyay ke paanchavean shlok mean jin chaubis tattvoan ke samuday ko kshetraphal svaroop batalaya gaya hai, gita ke satavean adhyay ke chauthe, paanchavean shlok mean jisako ‘apara prakriti’ kaha gaya hai, vahi ‘kshetr’ hai aur usako jo janane vala hai, jisako gita ke satavean adhyay ke paanchavean shlok mean ‘para prakriti’ kaha gaya hai, vah chetan tattv hi ‘kshetrajn’ hai, usaka yani ‘prakritisth’ bane hue bhinn-bhinn sookshm aur sthool shariroan ke sath sambandh hona hai, vahi kshetr tatha kshetrajn ka sanyog hai aur isake hote hi jo bhinn bhinn yoniyoan dvara bhinn-bhinn akritiyoan mean praniyoan ka prakat hona hai, vahi unaka utpann hona hai.

  18. yahaan ‘parameshvar’ shabd prakriti se sarvatha atit us nirvikar chetan tattv ka vachak hai, jisaka varnan ‘kshetrajn’ ke sath ekata karate hue isi adhyay ke baeesavean shlok mean upadrashta, anamanta, bharta, bhokta, maheshvar aur paramatma ke nam se kiya gaya haian. samast praniyoan ke jitanean sambandh se ve vinashashil kahee jate haian, samast shariroan mean unake vastavik svaroopabhoot ek hi avinashi nirvikar chetanatattv paramatma ko jo vinashashil badaloan mean akash ki bhaanti samayabhav se sthit aur nity dekhana hai.- vahi us ‘parameshvar ko samast praniyoan mean vinasharahit aur samabhav se sthit dekhana’ hai.
  19. ek hi sachchidanandaghan paramatma sarvatr samabhav se sthit hai, ajnan ke karan hi bhinn-bhinn shariroan mean usaki bhinnata pratit hoti hai- vastutah usamean kisi prakar ka bhed nahian hai- is tattv ko bhalibhaanti samajhakar pratyaksh kar lena hi ‘sarvatr samabhav se sthit parameshvar ko sam dekhana’ hai. jo is tattv ko nahian janate, unaka dekhana sam dekhana nahianan hai; kyoanki unaki sab mean vishamabuddhi hoti hai, ve kisi ko apana priy, hitaishi aur kisi ko apriy tatha ahit karane vala samajhate haianan evan apane apako doosaro se bhinn, ekadeshiy manate haianan. atev ve shariroan ke janm aur maran ko apana janm aur maran manane ke karan bar-bar nana yoniyoan mean janm lekar marate rahate haianai, yahi unaka apane dvara apane ko nasht karana hai; parantu jo purush upayukt prakar se ek hi parameshvar ko samabhav se sthit dekhata hai, vah n to apane ko us parameshvar se bhinn samajhata hai aur n in shariroan se apana koee sambandh hi manata hai. is liye vah shariroan ke vinash ke apana vinash nahian dekhata aur isiliye vah apane dvara apane ko nasht nahian karata abhipray yah hai ki usaki sthiti sarvajn, avinashi, sachchidanandaghan paramabrahmaparamatma mean abhinn bhav se ho jati hai, atev vah sada ke liye janm-maran se chhoot jata hai.
  20. gita ke tisare adhyay ke sattaeesavean, athaeesavean aur chaudahavean adhyay ke unnisavean shlokoan mean samast karmoean ko gunoan dvara kiye jate hue batalaya gaya hai tatha paanchavean adhyay ke athavean, navean shlokoan sab indriyoan ka indriyoan ke vishayoan mean baratana kaha gaya hai aur yahaan sab karmoan ko prakriti dvara kiye jate hue dekhane ko kahate haianan. is prakar tin tarah ke varnan ka tatpary ek hi hai; kyoanki sattv, raj, aur tam- ye tinoan gun prakriti ke hi kary haian tatha samast indriyaan aur man, buddhi adi evan indriyoan ke vishay- ye sab bhi gunoan ke hi vistar haian. atev indriyoan ka indriyoan ke vishayoan mean baratana, gunoan ka gunoan me baratana, aur gunoan dvara samast karmoan ko kiye jate hue batalana bhi sab karmoan ko prakriti- dvara hi kiye jate hue batalana hai. atah sabhi jagahoan ke kathan ka abhipray atma mean kartapan ka abhav dikhalana hai.
    atma nity, shuddh, buddh, mukt, aur sab prakar ke vikaroan se rahit hai; prakriti se unaka kuchh bhi sambandh nahian haian atev vah n kisi bhi karm ka karta hai aur n karmoan ke phal ka bhokta hi hai- yah bat ka aparoksh bhav se anubhav kar lena ‘atma ko akarta samajhana’ hai tatha jo aisa dekhata hai, vahi yatharth dekhata hai.
  21. jaise svapn se jaga hua manushy svapnakal mean dikhalayi dene vale samast praniyoan ke nana tattv ko apane-apamean hi dekhata hai aur yah bhi samajhata hai ki un sabaka visatar mujhase hi hua tha; vastutah svapn ki srishti mean mujhasean bhinn kuchh bhi nahian tha, ek maian hi apane-apako anek roop mean dekh raha tha- isi prakar jo samast praniyoan ko keval ek paramatma mean hi sthit aur usi se sabaka vistar dekhata hai, vahi thik dekhata hai aur is prakar dekhana hi sabako ek mean sthit aur usi ek se sabaka vistar dekhana hai.

  23. jisaka koee adi yani karan n ho evan jisaki kisi bhi kal mean nayi utpatti n huee ho aur jo sada se hi ho, use ‘anadi’ kahate haianan. prakriti aur usake gunoan se jo sarvatha atit ho, gunoan se aur gunoan ke kary se jisaka kisi kal mean aur kisi bhi avastha mean vastavik sambandh n ho, use ‘nirgun’ kahate haianan. atev yahaan ‘anadi’ aur ‘nirgun’-in donoan shabdoan ka prayog karake vah dikhalaya gaya hai ki jisaka prakaran chal-chal raha hai, vah atma ‘anadi’ aur ‘nirgun’ hai; isaliye vah akarta, nirlipt aur avyay hai- janm, mrityu adi chhah vikaroan sarvatha atit hai.
  24. jaise akash badaloan mean sthit hone par bhi unaka karta nahian banata aur unase lipt nahian hota, vaise hi atma karmoan ka karta nahian banata aur shariroan se lipt bhi nahian hota.
  25. akash ke drishtant se atma mean nilepata siddh ki gayi hai. abhipray yah hai ki jaise akash, vayu, agni, jal aur prithvi mean sab jagah samayabhav se vyapt hote hue bhi unake gun-doshoan se kisi tarah bhi lipt nahian hota, vaise hi atma bhi is sharir mean sab jagah vyapt hote hue bhi atyanat sookshm aur gunoan se sarvatha atit hone ke karan buddhi, man, indriy aur sharir ke gun-doshoan se jara bhi lipayaman nahian hota.
