sanbandh- is prakar bhagavan ke mukh se sab batean sunane ke bad arjun ki kaisi paristhiti huee aur unh‍hoanne kh‍ya kiya- is jijnasa par sanjay kahate haian. sanjay bole- keshav bhagavan ke is vachan ko sunakar mukutadhari arjun hath jo dakar kaanpata hua[2] namash‍kar karake, phir bhi ath‍yant bhayabhit hokar pranam karake[3] bhagavan shrikrishh‍n ke prati gadgad vani se bola[4] sanbandh-ab chhath‍tisavean se chhiyalisavean shh‍lok tak arjun bhagavan ke sh‍tavan, namash‍kar aur kshamayayana sahit prarthana karate haian- arjun bole- he anh‍taryamin! yah yogh‍y hi hai ki apake nam, gun aur prabhav ke kirtan se jagat ati harshit ho raha hai aur anurag ko bhi praph‍t ho raha hai tatha bhayabhit rakshas log dishaoan mean bhag rahe haian aur sab siddhaganoan ke samuday namash‍kar kar rahe haian.[5]

he mahath‍man! brahma ke bhi adikarta aur sabase b de apake liye ve kaise namash‍kar n karean; kh‍yoanki he anant! he devesh! he jagannivas![6] jo sath, asath aur unase pare akshar arthat sachchidanandaghan brahm hai, vah ap hi haian.[7] ap adidev aur sanatan purush haian, ap is jagat ke param ashray aur janane vale[8] tatha janane yogh‍y[9] aur param dham[10]haian. he anantaroop![11] apase yah sab jagat vh‍yaph‍t arthat paripoorn hai.[12] ap vayu, yamaraj, agni, varun, chanh‍drama, praja ke sh‍vami brahma aur brahma ke bhi pita haian. apake liye hajaroan bar namash‍kar! namash‍kar ho!! apake lie phir bhi bar-bar namaskar! namaskar. he ananh‍t samarthh‍y vale! apake liye age se aur pichhe se bhi namash‍kar! he sarvatmanh! apake liye sab or se hi namash‍kar ho;[13] kh‍yoanki anant parakramashali ap sab sansar ko vh‍yaph‍t kiye hue haian, isase ap hi sarvaroop haian.[14] sanbandh-is prakar bhagavan ki sh‍tuti aur pranam karake ab bhagavan ke gun, rahash‍y aur mahath‍mh‍y ko yatharth n janane ke karan vani aur kriya dvara kiye gaye aparadhoan ko kshama karane ke liye bhagavan se arjun prarthana karate haian.[1]

apake is prabhav ko n janate hue, ap mere sakha haian aisa manakar prem se athava pramad se bhi maianne ‘he krishh‍n!’ ‘he yadav!’ ‘he sakhe!’ is prakar jo kuchh bina soche-samajhe hathat kaha hai[15] aur he achh‍yut! ap jo mere dvara vinod ke liye vihar, shayh‍ya, asan aur bhojanadi mean akele athava un sakhaoan ke samane bhi apamanit kiye gaye haian- vah sab aparadh aprameyash‍varoop arthat achinh‍th‍y prabhav vale apase maian kshama karavata hooan[16] ap is charachar jagat ke pita aur sabase b de guru evan ati poojaniy haian,[17] he anupam prabhav vale! tinoan lokoan mean apake saman bhi doosara koee nahian hai, phir adhik to kaise ho sakata hai. atev he prabho! maian sharir ko bhalibhaanti charanoan mean nivedit kar, pranam karake, sh‍tuti karane yogh‍y ap eeshh‍var ko prasanh‍n hone ke liye prarthana karata hooan.[18] he dev! pita jaise putr ke, sakha jaise sakha ke aur pati jaise priyatama path‍ni ke aparadh s‍han karate haian- vaise hi ap bhi mere aparadh ko sahan karane yogh‍y haian.[19] sanbandh- is prakar bhagavan se apane aparadhoan ke liye kshama-yachana karake ab arjun do shlok mean bhagavan se chaturbhujaroop ka darshan karane ke liye prarthana karate haian- maian pahale n dekhe hue apake is ashcharyamay roop ko dekhakar harshit ho raha hooan aur mera man bhay se ati vh‍yakul bhi ho raha hai,[20] isaliye ap us apane chaturbhuj vishnu roop ko hi mujhe dikhalaiye. he devesh! he jagannivas! prasanh‍n hoiye. maian vaise hi apako mukut dharan kiye hue tatha gada aur chakr hath mean liye hue dekhana chahata hooan,[21] isaliye he vishvaroop! he sahasrabaho! ap usi chaturbhujaroop se prakat hoiye.[22][23]

  2. isase sanjay ne yah bhav dikhalaya hai ki shrikrishh‍n ne us ghor roop ko dekhakar arjun itane vh‍yakul ho gaye ki bhagavan ke is prakar ashvasan dene par bhi unaka dar door nahian hua; isaliye ve dar ke mare kaanpate hue hi bhagavan se us roop ka sanvaran karane ke liye prarthana karane lage.
  3. isase sanjay ne yah bhav dikhalaya hai ki bhagavan ne ananh‍t aishvaryamay sh‍varoop ko dekhakar us sh‍varoop ke prati arjun ki b di samh‍manh‍y drishti ho gayi thi aur ve dare hue the hi. isi se ve hath jode़ hue bar-bar bhagavan ko namash‍kar aur pranam karate hue unaki sh‍tuti karane lage.
  4. isaka abhipray yah hai ki arjun jab bhagavan ki sh‍tuti karane lage, tab ashchary aur bhay ke karan unaka hriday pani-pani ho gaya, netroan mean jal bhar gaya, kanh‍th ruk gaya aur isi karan unaki vani gadgad ho gayi. phalat: unaka uchh‍charan ash‍pashh‍t aur karunapoorn ho gaya.
  5. bhagavan ke dvara pradan ki huee divh‍y drishti se keval arjun hi yah sab dekh rahe the, sara jagat nahian. jagat ka harshit aur anurakh‍t hona, rakshasoan ka darakar bhagana aur siddhoan ka namash‍kar karana- ye sab us virat roop ke hi aang hai. abhipray yah hai ki yah varnan arjun ko dikhalayi dene vale virat roop ka hi hai, bahari jagat ka nahian. unako bhagavan ka jo virat roop dikhata tha, usi ke aandar ye sab drishh‍y dikhalayi p d rahe the. isi se arjun ne aisa kaha hai.
  6. yahaan ‘mahath‍man, ‘ananh‍t’, ‘devesh’ aur ‘jagannivas’- in char sanbodhanoan ka prayog karake arjun ne yah bhav vh‍yakh‍t kiya hai ki ap samash‍t charachar praniyoan ke mahan ath‍ma haian, aantarahit haian- apake roop, gun aur prabhav adi ki sima nahian hai; ap devataoan ke bhi sh‍vami haian aur samash‍t jagat ke ekamatr paramadhar haian. yah sara jagat ap mean hi sthit hai tatha ap isamean vh‍yaph‍t haian. atev in sabaka apako namash‍kar adi karana sab prakar se uchit hi hai.
  7. jisaka kabhi abhav nahian hota, us avinashi ath‍ma ko ‘sath’ aur nashavan anith‍y vash‍tu matr ko ‘asath’ kahate haian; inh‍hian ko gita ke satavean adhh‍yay mean para aur apara prakritti tatha pandrahavean adhh‍yay mean akshar aur kshar purush kaha gaya hai. inase pare param akshar sachchidanandaghan paramath‍matatth‍v hai. arjun apane namash‍karadi ke auchith‍y ko siddh karate hue kah rahe haian ki yah sab apaka hi sh‍varoop hai. atev apako namash‍kar adi karana sab prakar se uchit hai.
  8. isase arjun ne yah bhav dikhalaya hai ki ap is bhoot, vartaman aur bhavishh‍y samash‍t jagat ko yatharth tatha poornaroop se janane vale, sabake nith‍y drashh‍ta haian; isaliye ap sarvajn hai, apake sadrish sarvajn koee nahian hai (gita 7:26)
  9. isase arjun ne yah bhav dikhalaya hai ki jo janane ke yogh‍y hai, jisako janana manushy janh‍m ka uddeshh‍y hai, gita ke terahavean adhh‍yay mean barahavean se satarahavean shlok tak jis jney tattv ka varnan kiya gaya hai- ve sakshat parabrahm parameshvar ap hi haian.
  10. isase arjun ne yah batalaya hai ki jo mukt purushoan ki param gati hai, jise praph‍t hokar manushh‍y vapas nahian lautata; vah sakshat param dham ap hi haian (gita 8:21).
  11. isase arjun ne yah bhav dikhalaya hai ki apake roop asim aur aganit haian, unaka par koee pa hi nahian sakata.
  12. isase arjun ne yah bhav dikhalaya hai ki sare vishv ke prath‍yek paramanu mean ap vh‍yaph‍t haian, isaka koee bhi sh‍than ap se rahit nahian hai.
  13. ’sarve’ nam se samh‍bodhit karake arjun ne yah bhav dikhalaya hai ki ap sabake ath‍ma, sarvavh‍yapi aur sarvaroop haian; isaliye maian apako age-pichhe, oopar-niche, dahine-bayean---sabhi or se namash‍kar karana hooan.
  14. arjun is kathan se bhagavan ki sarvata ko siddh karate haian. abhipray yah hai ki apane is samh‍poorn jagat ko vh‍yaph‍t kar rakha hai. vishv mean kshudr se bhi kshudratam anumatr bhi aisi koee jagah ya vash‍tu nahian hai, jahaan aur jisamean ap n hoan. atev sab kuchh ap hi hai. vash‍tav mean apase prithak jagat koee vash‍‍tu hi nahian hai, yahi mera nishchay hai.
  15. isase arjun ne yah bhav dikhalaya hai ki apaki apratim aur apar mahima ko n janane ke karan hi maianne apako apani barabari ka mitr man rakha tha, isiliye maianne batachit mean kabhi apake mahan gaurav aur sarvapoojh‍y mahattv ka khh‍yal nahian rakha; at: prem ya pramad se mere dvara nishchay hi b di bhool huee. b de-se-bade़ devata aur maharshigan jin apake charanoan ki vandana karana apana saubhagh‍y samajhate haian, maianne un apake sath barabari ka bartav kiya. prabho! kahaan ap aur kahaan maian! maian itana moodhamati ho gaya ki ap param poojaniy parameshvar ko maian apana mitr hi manata raha aur kisi bhi adarasoochak visheshan ka prayog n karake sada bina soche-samajhe ‘krishh‍n’, ‘yadav’ aur ‘sakhe’ adi kahakar apako tirash‍karapoorvak pukarata raha.
  16. yahaan arjun kah rahe haian ki prabho! apaka sh‍varoop aur mahatth‍v achinh‍th‍y hai. usako poornaroop se to koee bhi nahian jan sakata. kisi ko usaka tho da-bahut jnan hota hai to vah apaki kripa se hi hota hai. yah apake param anugrah ka hi phal hai ki maian-jo pahale apake prabhav ko nahian janata tha aur isiliye apaka anadar kiya karata tha- ab apake prabhav ko kuchh-kuchh jan saka hooan. avashh‍y hi aisi bat nahian hai ki maianne apaka sara prabhav jan liya hai; sara janane ki bat to door rahi- maian to abhi utana bhi nahian samajh paya hooan, jitana apaki daya mujhe samajha dena chahati hai. parantu jo kuchh samajha hooan, usi se mujhe yah bhalibhaanti maloom ho gaya hai ki ap sarvashaktiman sakshat parameshvar haian. maianne jo apako apani barabari ka mitr manakar apase jaisa bartav kiya, use maian aparadh manata hooan aur aise samash‍t aparadhoan ke liye maian apase kshama chahata hooan.
  17. is kathan se arjun ne aparadh kshama karane ke auchith‍y ka pratipadan kiya hai. ve kahate haian- ‘bhagavan! yah sara jagat ap hi se uth‍panh‍n hai, atev ap hi isake pita haian; sansar mean jitane bhi b de-b de़ devata, maharshi aur anh‍yanh‍y samarth purush haian, un sabamean sabaki apeksha b de brahma ji haian; kh‍yoanki sabase pahale unh‍hian ka pradurbhav hota hai aur ve hi apake nith‍y jnan ke dvara sabako yathayogh‍y shiksha dete haian, parantu he prabho! ve brahma ji bhi ap hi se uth‍panh‍n hote haian aur unako vah jnan bhi ap hi se milata hai. atev he sarveshvar! sabase bade़, sab b doan-se-b dean aur sabake ekamatr mahan guru ap hi haian. samash‍t jagat jin devataoan ki aur maharshiyoan ki pooja karata hai, un devataoan ke aur maharshiyoan ke bhi param poojh‍y tatha nith‍y vandaniy brahma adi devata aur vasishh‍tadi maharshi yadi kshanabhar ke liye apake prath‍yaksh poojan ya sh‍tavan ka suavasar pa jate haian to apane ko mahan bhagh‍yavan samajhate haian. atev sab poojaniy ke bhi param poojaniy ap hi hai, isaliye mujh kshudr ke aparadhoan ko kshama karana apake liye sabhi prakar se uchit hai.
  18. jo sabaka niyaman karane vale sh‍vami hoan, unh‍hean ‘eesh’ kahate haian aur jo sh‍tuti ke yogh‍y hoan, unh‍hean ‘eedy’kahate haian. in donoan visheshanoan ka prayog karake arjun yah bhav dikhalate haian ki he prabho! is samash‍t jagat ka niyaman karane vale yahaan tak ki indr, adity, varun, kuber aur yamaraj] adi lokaniyanta devataoan ko bhi apane niyam mean rakhane vale ap-sabake ekamatr maheshvar haian aur apake gun gaurav tatha mahattv ka itana vish‍tar hai ki sara jagat sada-sarvada apaka sh‍tavan karata rahe t‍b bhi usaka par nahian pa sakata; isaliye ap hi vash‍tut: sh‍tuti ke yogh‍y haian. mujhamean n to itana jnan hai aur n vani mean hi bal haian ki jisase maian sh‍tavan karake apako prasanh‍n kar sakooan. maian abodh bhala apaka kh‍ya sh‍tavan karooan? maian apaka prabhav batalane mean jo kuchh bhi kahooanga vah vash‍tav mean apake prabhav ki chhaya ko bhi n chhoo sakega; isaliye vah apake prabhav ko ghatane vala hi hoga. at: maian to bas, is sharir ko hi lak di ki bhaanti apake charanapraant mean lutakar-samash‍t aangoan ke dvara apako pranam karake apaki charanadhooli ke prasad se hi apaki prasanh‍nata praph‍t karana chahata hooan. ap kripa karake mere sab aparadhoan ko bhula dijiye aur mujh din par prasanh‍n ho jaiye.
  19. yahaan arjun yah prarthana kar rahe hai ki jaise ajnan mean pramadavash kiye hue putr ke aparadhoan ko pita kshama karata hai, hansi-majak mean kiye hue mitr ke aparadhoan ko mitr sahata hai aur premavash kiye hue priyatama path‍ni ke aparadhoan ko pati kshama karata hai- vaise hi mere tinoan hi karanoan se bane hue samash‍t aparadhoan ko ap kshama kijiye.
  20. arjun ne isase yah bhav dikhalaya hai ki apake is alaukik roop mean jab maian apake gun, prabhav aur aishvary ki or dekhakar vichar karata hooan tab to mujhe b da bhari harsh hota hai ki ‘aho! maian b da hi saubhagh‍yashali hooan, jo sakshat parameshvar-ki mujh tuchh‍chh par itani anant daya aur aisa anokha prem hai ki jisase ve kripa karake mujhako apana yah alaukik roop dikhala rahe haian; parantu isi ke sath jab apaki bhayavani vikaral moorti ki or drishti jati hai, tab mera man bhay se kaanp uthata hai aur maian ath‍yant vh‍yakul ho jata hooan.
  21. mahabharat-yuddh mean bhagavan ne shastr-grahan n karane ki pratijna ki thi aur arjun ke rath par ve apane hathoan mean chabuk aur gho doan ki lagam thame virajaman the; parantu is samay arjun bhagavan ke is dvibhuj roop ko dekhane se pahale us chaturbhuj roop ko dekhana chahate haian, jisake hathoan mean gada aur chakradi haian.
  22. (1) yadi chaturbhuj roop shrikrishh‍n ka sh‍vabhavik roop hota to phir ‘gadinamh’ aur ‘chakrahash‍tamh’ kahane ki koee avashh‍yakata n thi, kh‍yoanki arjun us roop ko sada dekhate hi the. varan ‘chaturbhuj’ kahana bhi nishh‍prayojan tha; arjun ka itana hi kahana paryaph‍t hota ki maian abhi kuchh der pahale jo roop dekh raha tha, vahi dikhalaiye.
    (2) pichhale shh‍lok mean ‘devaroopamh’ pad aya hai, jo age ikh‍yavanavean shh‍lok mean aye hue ‘manushan roopamh’ se sarvatha vilakshan arth rakhata hai; isase bhi siddh hai ki devaroop se shri vishh‍nu ka hi kathan kiya gaya hai.
    (3) age pachasavean shh‍lok mean aye hue ‘sh‍vakan roopamh’ ke sath ‘bhooy:’ aur ‘saumh‍yavapu:’ ke sath ‘pun:’ pad ane se bhi yahaan pahale chaturbhuj aur phir dvibhuj manusharoop dikhalaya jana siddh hota hai.
    (4) age bavanavean shh‍lok mean ‘sudurdarshamh’ pad se yah dikhalaya gaya hai ki yah roop ath‍yant durlabh hai aur phir kaha gaya hai ki devata bhi is roop ko dekhane ki nith‍y akaanksha karate haian. yadi shrikrishh‍n ka chaturbhuj roop sh‍vabhavik tha, tab to vah roop manushh‍yoan ko bhi dikhata tha; phir devata usaki sada akaanksha kyoan‍ karane lage? yadi yah kaha jay ki vishvaroop liye aisa kaha gaya hai to aise ghor vishvaroop ki devataoan ko kalh‍pana bhi kh‍yoan hone lagi, jisaki dadhoan mean bhishh‍m-dronadi choorn ho rahe haian. atev yahi pratit hota hai ki devatagan vaikunh‍thavasi shrivishh‍nuroop ke darshan ki hi akaanksha karate haian.
    (5) virat sh‍varoop ki mahima age a datalisavean shh‍lok mean ‘n vedayajnadhh‍yayanai:’ ith‍yadi ke dvara gayi gayi, phir tirapanavean shh‍lok mean ‘nahan vedairn tapasa’ adi mean pun: vaisi hi bat ati hai. yadi donoan jagah ek hi virat roop ki mahima hai to isamean punarooktidosh ata hai; isase bhi siddh hai ki manusharoop dikhalane ke pahale bhagavan ne arjun ko chaturbhuj devaroop dikhalaya aur usi ki mahima mean tirapanavaan shh‍lok kaha gaya.
    (6) isi adhh‍yay ke chaubisavean aur tisavean shh‍lokoan mean arjun ne ‘vishh‍no’ pad se bhagavan ko samh‍bodhit bhi kiya hai. isase bhi unake vishh‍nuroop dekhane ki akaanksha pratit hoti hai. in hetuoan se yahi siddh hota hai ki yahaan arjun bhagavan shrikrishh‍n se chaturbhuj vishh‍nuroop dikhalane ke liye prarthana kar rahe haian.
