sambandh- is prakar bhagavan gita ke upadesh ka upasanhar karake ab us upadesh ke adhyapan aur adhyayan adi ka mahatmy batalane ke liye pahale anadhikari ke lakshan batalakar use gita ka upadesh sunane ko nishedh karate haian. tujhe yah gitaroop rahasyamay upadesh kisi bhi kal mean n to taparahit manushy se kahana chahiye, n bhaktirahit se aur n bina sunane ki ichchha vale se hi kahana chahiye tatha jo mujhamean doshadrishti rakhata hai, usase to kabhi bhi nahian kahana chahiye.[2] jo purush mujhamean paramaprem karake is param rahasyayukt[3] gitashastr ko mere bhaktoan mean[4] kahega,[5] vah mujhako hi prapt hoga- isamean koee sandeh nahian hai.[6] usase badhakar mera priy kary karane vala manushyoan mean koee bhi nahian hai tatha prithvi bhar mean usase badhakar mera priy doosara koee bhavishy mean hoga bhi nahian.[7]

sambandh is prakar uparyukt do shlokoan mean gitashastr shraddha-bhaktipoorvak bhagavadbhakh‍toan ko vistar karane ka phal aur mahatmy batalaya ; kiantu sabhi manushy is kary ko nahian kar sakate, isaka adhikari to koee birala hi hota hai. isaliye ab gitashastr ke adhyayan ka mahatmy batalate haian- jo purush is gharmamay[8] ham donoan ke sanvadaroop gita-shastroan ko padhe़ga,[9] usake dvara bhi mean jnanayajn se[10] poojit hoooanga- aisa mera mat hai. sambandh- is prakar gitashastr ke adhyayan ka mahatmy batalakar, ab jo uparyukt prakar se adhyayan karane mean asamarth haian- aise manushy ke liye usake shravan ka phal batalate haian- jo manushy[11] shraddhayukt aur doshadrishti se rahit hokar is gitashastr ka shravan bhi karega,[12] vah bhi papoan se mukt hokar uttam karm karane vala shreshth lokoan ko prapt hoga.[13] sambandh-is prakar gitashastr ke kathan, pathan aur shravan ka mahatmy batalakar ab bhagavan svayan sab kuchh janate hue bhi arjun ko sachet karane ke liye usase usaki sthiti poochhate haian- he parth! kya is (gitashastr) ko toone ekagrachitt se shravan kiya?[14] aur he dhananjay! kya tera ajnanajanit moh nasht ho gaya?[15][1]

arjun bole- he achyut! apaki kripa se mera moh nasht ho gaya aur maianne smriti prapt kar li hai, ab maian sanshay rahit hokar sthit hooan, atah apaki ajna ka palan karooanga.[16] sambandh-is prakar dhritarashtr ke prashnanusar bhagavan shrikrishn aur arjun ke sanvadaroop gitashastr ka varnan karake ab usaka upasanhar karate hue sanjay dhritarasht ke samane gita ka mahattv prakat karate haian- sanjay bole- is prakar maianne shrivasudev ke aur mahatma arjun ke is adbhut rahasyayukt, romaanchakarak sanvad ko suna.[17] shrivyas ji ki kripa se[18] divy drishti pakar maianne is param gopaniy yog ko[19]arjun ke prati kahate hue svayan yogeshvar bhagavan shrikrishn se pratyaksh suna hai. he rajan! bhagavan shrikrishn aur arjun ke is rahasyayukt, kalyanakarak aur adbhut sanvad ko punah-punah smaran karake mean bar-bar harshit hota hooan. he rajan! shrihari us atyant vilakshan roop ko bhi punah-punah smaran karake mere chitt mean mahan ashchary hota hai aur maian bar-bar harshit ho raha hooan.[20] sambandh- is prakar apani sthiti varnan karate hue gita ke upadesh ki aur bhagavan ke adbhut roop ki smriti ka mahattv prakat karake, ab sanjay dhritarashtr se pandavoan ki vijay ki nishchit sambhavana prakat karate hue is adhyay ka upasanhar karate haian- he rajan! jahaan yogeshvar shrikrishn haian aur jahaan gandiv-dhanushadhari arjun haian, vahian par shri, vijay, vibhuti aur achal niti hai- aisa mera mat hai.[21][22]

vaishampayan ji kahate haian- janamejay! any bahut se shastroan ka sangrah karane ki kya avashyakata hai. gita ka hi achchhi tarah se gan[23] karana chahiye; kyoki vah svayan padmanabh bhagavan ke sakshat mukhakamal se nikali huee hai. gita sarvashastramayi hai.[24] bhagavan shrihari sarvadevamay hai. ganga sarvatirthamayi hai aur manu (unaka dharmashastr) sarv vedamay haian. gita, ganga, gayatri aur govind- in ‘g’ karayukt char namoan ko hriday mean dharan kar lene par manushy ka phir is sansar mean janm nahi hota. is gita mean chhahsau bis shlok bhagavan shrikrishn ne kahe haian, sattavan shlok arjun ke kahe hue hai, s dasath shlok sanjay ne kahe hai aur ek shlok dhritarasht kaha hua hai, yah gita ka man bataya jata hai. bharataroopi amritarashi ke sarvasv sarabhoot gita ka manthan karake usaka sar nikalakar shrikrishn arjun ke mukh mean[25] dal diya hai|[26]

  3. yah upadesh manushy ko sansarabandhan se chhu dakar sakshat parameshvar ki prapti karane vala hone se atyant shri shreshth aur gupt rakhane yogy hai.
  4. isase bhagavan ne yah bhav dikhalaya hai ki jo mujhako samast jagat ki utpatti, sthiti aur palan karane vale, sarvashaktiman aur sarveshvar samajhakar mujhamean prem karata hai; jisake chitt mean mere, gun, prabhav, lila aur tattv ki batean sunane ki utsukata rahati hai aur sunakar prasannata hoti hai- vah mera bhakt hai. usamean poorvashlok mean varnit char doshoan ka abhav apane ap ho jata hai. isaliye jo mera bhakt hai, vahi isaka adhikari hai tatha sabhi manushy-chahe kisi bhi varn aur jati ke kyoan n hoan-mere bhakt ban sakate haian (gita 9:32); atah varn aur jati ke karan isaka koee bhi anadhikari nahian haian.
  5. svayan bhagavan mean ya unake vachanoan mean atishay shraddhayukt hokar evan bhagavan ke nam, gun, lila, prabhav aur svaroop ki smriti se unake prem mean vihval hokar keval bhagavan ki prasannata ke hi liye nishkamabhav se uparyukt bhagavatabhaktoan mean is gitashastr ka varnan karana, isake mool shlokoan ka adhyayan karana, unaki vyakhya karake arth samajhana, shuddh path karavana, unake bhavoan ko bhali-bhaanti prakat karana aur samajhana, shrotaoan ki shankaoan ka samadhan karake gita ke upadesh ko unake hriday mean jama dena aur gita ke upadeshanusar chalane ki usamean dridh bhavana utpann kar dena adi sabhi kriyaean bhagavan mean param prem karake bhagavan ke bhaktoan mean gita ka kathan karana hai.
  6. isase bhagavan ne yah bhav dikhalaya hai ki gitashastr ka uparyukt prakar se prachar karana- yah meri prapti ka aikantik upay hai; isaliye meri prapti chahane vala adhikari bhaktoan ko is gitashastr ke kathan tatha prachar ka kary avashy karana chahiye.
  7. yahaan bhagavan yah batalate haian ki yajn, dan, tap, seva, pooja aur jap, dhyan adi jitane bhi mere priy kary haian, un sabase badhakar ‘mere bhavoan ko mere bhaktoan mean vistar karana’ mujhe adhik priy hai. is karan jo mera premi bhakt mere bhavoan ka shaddha-bhaktipoorvak mere bhaktoan mean vistar karata hai, vahi sabase badhakar mera priy kary karane vala hai; usase badhakar doosara koee nahian. keval is samay hi usase badhakar mera koee priy kary karane vala nahian hai, yahi bat nahian hai; kiantu usase badhakar mera ‘pyara kam karane vala koee ho sakega’ yah bhi sambhav nahian hai. isaliye meri prapti ke jitane bhi sadhan haian, un sabamean yah ‘bhaktipoorvak mere bhaktoan mean mere bhavoan ka vistar karana roop’ sadhan sarvottam hai- aisa samajhakar mere bhaktoan ko yah kary karana chahiye.
  8. yah sakshat parameshvar ke dvara kaha hua shastr hai, is karan isamean jo kuchh upadesh diya gaya hai, vah sab-ka-sab dharm se otaprot hai.
  9. gita ka marm janane vale bhagavan ke bhaktoan se is gitashastr ko padhana, isaka nity path karana, isake arth ka path karana, arth par vichar karana aur isake arth ko janane vale bhaktoan se isake arth ko samajhane ki cheshta karana adi sabhi abhyas gitashastr ko padhane ke antargat hai.
    shlokoan ka arth bina samajhe is gita ko padhane aur usaka nity path karane ki apeksha usake arth ko bhi sath-sath padhana aur arthajnan ke sahit usaka nity path karana adhik uttam hai, tatha usake arth ko samajhakar padhate ya path karate samay prem mean vihval hokar bhavanvit ho jana usase bhi adhik uttam hai.
  10. is gitashastr ka adhyayan karane se manushy ko mere sagun-nirgun aur sakar-nirakar tattv ka bhalibhaanti yatharth jnan ho jata hai. atah is gitashastr ka adhyayan karana jnanayajn ke dvara meri pooja karana hai; kh‍yoanki sabhi sadhanoan ka aantim phal bhagavan ke tattvoan ko bhalibhaanti jan lena hai, aur vah is jnanayajn se anayas hi mil jata hai.
  11. jisake aandar is gitashastr ko shraddhapoorvak shravan karane ki bhi ruchi nahian haian, vah to manushy kahalane yogy bhi nahian hai; kh‍yoanki usaka manushy janm pana vyarth ho raha hai. is karan vah manushy ke roop mean pashu ke hi tuly haian.
  12. bhagavan ki satta mean aur unake gun-prabhav mean vishvas karake tatha yah gitashastr sakshat bhagavan ki hi vani hai, isamean jo kuchh bhi kaha gaya hai sab-ka-sab yatharth hai- aisa nishchayapoorvak manakar aur usake vakta par vishvas karake prem aur ruchi ke sath gita ji ke mool shlokoan ke path ko ya usake arth ki vyakhya ka shravan karana, yah shraddha se yukt hokar gitashastr ka shravan karana hai aur usaka shravan karate samay bhagavan par ya bhagavan ke vachanoan par bhi kisi prakar ka dosharopan n karana- yah doshadrishti se rahit hokar usaka shravan karana hai.
  13. jo a dasathavean shlok mean varnananusar is gitashastr ka doosaroan ko adhyayan karata hai tatha jo sattaravean shlok ke kathananusar svayan adhyayan karata hai, un logoan ki to bat hi kya hai, par jo isaka shraddhapoorvak shravanamatr bhi kar pata hai, vah bhi janm-janmantaroan mean kiye hue pashu-pakshi adi nich yoniyoan aur narak ke hetubhoot papakarm se chhootakar indralok se lekar bhagavan ke paramadhamaparyant apane-apane prem aur shraddha se anuroop bhinn-bhinn lokoan ko prapt ho jata hai.
  14. bhagavan ke is prashn ka abhipray yah hai ki mera yah upadesh b da hi durlabh hai, maian harek manushy ke samane ‘maian hi sakshat parameshvar hooan, ‘too meri hi sharan mean a ja’ ityadi batean nahian kah sakata; isaliye tumane mere upadesh ko bhalibhaanti dhyanapoorvak sun to liya hai n! kh‍yoanki yadi kahian tumane us par dhyan n diya hoga to tumane niahsandeh b di bhool ki hai.
  15. bhagavan ke is prashh‍n ka bhav yah hai ki jis moh se yukt hokar tum dharm ke vishay mean apane ko mudhacheta batala rahe the (gita 2:7) tatha apane sh‍vadharm palan karane mean pap samajh rahe the. (gita 2:36 se 39) aur samast kartavyakarmoan ka tyag karake bhiksha ke ann se jivan bitana shreshth samajh rahe the (gita 2:5) evan jisake karan tum svajan-vadh ke bhay se vyakul ho rahe the (gita 1:45-47) aur apane kartavy ka nishchay nahian kar pate the (gita 2:6-7) tumhara vah ajnanajanit moh ab nasht ho gaya ya nahian yadi mere upadesh ko tumane dhyanapoorvak suna hoga to avashy hi tumhara moh nasht ho jana chahiye aur yadi tumhara moh nasht nahian hua hai to yahi manana p dega ki tumane us upadesh ko ekagrachitt se nahian suna.
    yahaan bhagavan ke in donoan prashnoan me yah upadesh bhara hua hai ki manushy ko is gitashastr ka adhyayan aur shravan b di savadhani ke sath ekagrachitt se tatpar hokar karana chahiye aur jab tak ajnanajanit moh ka sarvatha nash n ho jay, tab tak yah samajhana chahiye ki abhi tak maian bhagavan ke upadesh ko yatharth nahian samajh saka hooan, atah us par shraddha aur vivekapoorvak vichar karana avashyak hai.
  16. arjun ke kahane ka abhipray yah hai ki apane yah divy upadesh sunakar mujh par b di bhari daya ki hai, apake upadesh ko sunane se mera ajnanajanit moh sarvatha nasht ho gaya hai, arthat apake gun, prabhav, aishvary aur svaroop ko yatharth n janane ke karan jis moh se vyapt hokar maian apaki ajna ko manane ke liye taiyar nahian hota tha (gita 2:9) aur bandhu-bandhavoan ke vinash ka bhay karake shok se vyakul ho raha tha (gita 1:28 se 47 tak)- vah sab moh ab sarvatha nasht ho gaya hai tatha mujhe apake gun, prabhav, aishvary aur svaroop ki poorn smriti prapt ho gayi hai aur apaka samagr roop mere pratyaksh ho gaya hai- mujhe kuchh bhi ajnat nahian raha hai. ab apake gun, prabhav aishvary aur sagun-nirgun sakar-nirakar svaroop ke vishay mean tatha dharm-adharm aur kartavy-akartavy adi ke vishay mean mujhe kianchinmatr bhi sanshay nahian raha hai. apaki daya se maian kritakrity ho gaya hooan, mere liye ab kuchh bhi kartavy shesh nahian raha; atev apake kathananusar lokasangrah ke liye yuddhadi samast karm jaise ap karavayeange, nimittamatr banakar lilaroop se mean vaise hi karooanga.
  17. sanjay ke kathan ka yah bhav hai ki sakshat nar rrishi ke avatar mahatma arjun ke poochhane par sabake hriday mean nivas karane vale sarvavyapi parameshvar shrikrishn ke dvara yah upadesh diya gaya hai, is karan yah b de hi mahattv ka hai, tatha yah upedash b da hi ashcharyajanak aur sadharan hai; isase manushy ko bhagavan ke divy alaukik gun, prabhav aur aishvaryayukt samagraroop ka poorn jnan ho jata hai tatha manushy ise jaise-jaise sunata aur samajhata hai, vaise-hi-vaise harsh aur ashchary ke karan usaka sharir pulakit ho jata hai, usake samast sharir mean romaanch ho jata hai.
  18. bhagavan ki prapti upayabhoot karmayog, jnanayog, dhyanayog aur bhaktiyog adi sadhanoan ka isamean bhalibhaanti varnan kiya gaya hai tatha vah svayan hi arthat shraddhapoorvak isaka path bhi paramatma ki prapti sadhan hone se yogaroop hai.
  19. sanjay ke kathan ka yah bhav hai ki bhagavan shrikrishn aur arjun divy sanvadaroop vah gitashastr adhyayan, adhyapan, shravan, manan aur varnan adi karane vala manushy ko paramapavitr karake usaka sab prakar se kalyan karane vala divy aur alaukik hai. is upadesh ne mere hriday ko itana akarshit kar diya hai ki ab mujhe doosari koee bat hi achchhi nahian lagati; mere man mean bar bar is upadesh ki smriti ho rahi hai aur un bhavoan ke avesh mean maian asim harsh ka anubhav kar raha hooan, prem aur harsh ke karan vihval ho raha hooan.
  20. jis atyant ashcharyamay divy vishvaroop ka bhagavan ne arjun ko darshan karaya tha aur jisake darshan ka mahattv bhagavan ne gyarahavean adhyay ke saitalisavean aur a datalisavean shlokoan me svayan batalaya hai, usi virat svaroop ko lakshy karake sanjay yah kah rahe haian ki bhagavan ka vah roop mere chitt se utarana hi nahian, use maian bar-bar smaran karata rahata hooan aur mujhe b da ashchary ho raha hai ki bhagavan ke atishay durlabh us divy roop ka darshan mujhe kaise ho gaya! mera to aisa kuchh bhi puny nahian tha, jisase mujhe aise roop ka darshan ho sakate. aho! isamean kevalamatr bhagavan ki ahaitu ki daya hi karan hai. sath hi us roop ke atyant adbhut drishh‍yoan ko aur ghatanaoan ko yad kar-karake bhi mujhe b da ashchary hota hai tatha use bar-bar yad karake maian harsh aur prem mean vihval bhi ho raha hooan; mere anand ka paravar nahian hai.
  21. yahaan sanjay ke kahane ka abhipray yah hai ki bhagavan shrikrishn samast yogashaktiyoan ke svami haian; ve apani yog shakti se kshanabhar mean samast jagat ki utpatti, palan aur sanhar kar sakate haian; ve sakshat narayan bhagavan shrikrishn jis dharmaraj yudhishthir ke sahayak haian, usaki vijay mean kya shanka hai. isake siva arjun bhi nar rrishi ke avatar, bhagavan ke priy sakha aur gandiv-dhanush ke dharan karane vale mahan vir purush haian; ve bhi apane bhaee yudhishthir ki vijay ke liye katibaddh haian. atah aj us yudhishthir ki barabari doosara kaun kar sakata hai; kh‍yoanki jahaan soory rahata hai, prakash usake sath hi rahata hai- usi prakar yahaan yogeshvar bhagavan shrikrishn aur arjun rahate haianan, vahi sampoorn shobha, sara aishvary aur atal nyay (dharm)- ye sab unake sath-sath rahate haianan aur jis paksh mean dharm rahata hai, usi ki vijay hoti hai. atah pandavoan ki vijay mean kisi prakar ki shanka nahian hai. yadi ab bhi tum apana kalyan chahate ho to apane putroan ko samajhakar pandavoan se sandhi kar lo.
