yattu kamepsuna karm sahankaren va pun: . arth- parantu jo karm bahut parishram se yukt hota hai tatha bhogoan ko chahane vale purush dvara ya ahankar yukt purush dvara kiya jata hai, vah karm rajas kaha gaya hai. vyakhya- ‘yattu[1] kamepsuna karm’- ham karm kareange to hamean padarth mileange, sukh-aram milega, bhog mileange, adar-samman-b daee milegi adi phal ki ichchha vale vyakti ke dvara karm kiya jae. ‘sahankaren’- logoan ke samane karm karane se log dekhate haian aur vah-vah karate haian to abhiman ata hai aur jahaan log samane nahian hote, vahaan (ekant mean) karm karane se doosaroan ki apeksha apane mean vilakshanata, visheshata dekhakar abhiman ata hai. jaise- doosare adami hamari tarah sucharoo roop se saangopaang kary nahian kar sakate; hamare mean kam karane ki jo yogyata, vidya, chaturata adi hai, vah harek adami mean nahian milegi; ham jo bhi kam karate haian, usako bahut hi eemanadari se aur jaldi karate haian, adi-adi. is prakar ahankarapoorvak kiya gaya karm rajas kahalata hai. ‘va punah’- age bhavishy mean milane vale phal ko lekar (phalechchha poorvak) karm kiya jae athava vartaman mean apani visheshata ko lekar (ahankarabhavapoorvak) karm kiya jae- in donoan bhavoan mean se ek bhav hone par bhi vah karm rajas ho jata hai, yah batane ke lie yahaan ‘va punah’ pad ae haian. tatpary hai ki phalechchha aur ahankar- in donoan mean se jab ek bhav hone par bhi karm ‘rajas’ ho jata hai, tab donoan bhav hone par vah karm rajas ho hi jaega. ‘kriyate bahulayasamh’- karm karate samay harek vyakti ke sharir mean parishram to hota hi hai, par jis vyakti mean sharir ke sukh-aram ki ichchha mukhy hoti hai, usako karm karate samay sharir mean jyada parishram maloom deta hai. jis vyakti mean karmaphal ki ichchha to mukhy hai, par sharirik sukh-aram ki ichchha mukhy nahian hai, arthat sukh-aram lene ki svabhavik hi prakriti nahian hai, usako karm karate hue bhi sharir mean parishram nahian maloom deta. karan ki bhitar mean bhogoan aur sangrah ki joradar kamana hone se usaki vritti kamanapoorti ki taraph hi lagi rahati hai; sharir ki taraph nahian. tatpary hai ki sharir ke sukh-aram ki mukhyata hone se phalechchha ki avahelana ho jati hai aur phalechchha ki mukhyata hone se sharir ke sukh-aram ki avahelana ho jati hai. logoan ke samane karm karate samay ahankarajany sukh ki khurak milane se aur sharir ke sukh-aram ki mukhyata n hone se rajas manushy ko karm karane mean parishram nahian maloom deta. parantu ekant mean karm karate samay ahankarajany sukh ki khurak n milane se aur sharir ke sukh-aram ki mukhyata hone se rajas manushy ko karm karane mean jyada parishram maloom deta hai. ‘tadrajasamudahritamh’- aise phal ki ichchha vale manushy ke dvara ahankar aur parishramapoorvak kiya hua jo karm hai, vah ‘rajas’ kaha gaya hai. sanbandh- ab tamas karm ka varnan karate haian.
