tribhirgunamayairbhavairebhiah sarvamidan jagath . arth- in tinoan gun roop bhavoan se mohit yah sab jagath in gunoan se par avinashi mere ko nahian janata. vyakhya- ‘tribhirgunamayairbhavairebhiah.......... paramavyayamh’- sattv, raj aur tam- tinoan gunoan ki vrittiyaan utpann aur lin hoti rahati haian. unake sath tadatmy karake manushy apane ko sattvik, rajas aur tamas man leta hai arthat unaka apane mean arop kar leta hai ki ‘maian sattvik, rajas aur tamas ho gaya hooan.’ is prakar tinoan gunoan se mohit manushy aisa man hi nahian sakata ki maian paramatma ka aansh hooan. vah apane aanshi paramatma ki taraph n dekhakar utpann aur nasht hone vali vrittiyoan ke sath apana sanbandh man leta hai, yahi usaka mohit hona hai. is prakar mohit hone ke karan vah ‘mera paramatma ke sath nity-sanbandh hai’- isako samajh hi nahian sakata. jahaan ‘jagat’ shabd jivatma ka vachak hai. nirantar parivartanashil sharir ke sath tadatmy hone ke karan hi yah jiv ‘jagat’ nam se kaha jata hai. tatpary hai ki sharir ke janmane mean apana janmana, sharir ke marane mean apana marana, sharir ke bimar hone mean apana bimar hona aur sharir ke svasth hone mean apana svasth hona man leta hai, isi se yah ‘jagat’ nam se kaha jata hai. jab tak yah sharir ke sath apana tadatmy manega, tab tak yah jagat hi rahega arthat janmata-marata hi rahega, kahian bhi sthayi nahian rahega. gunoan ki bhagavan ke sivay alag satta manane se hi prani mohit hote haian. agar ve gunoan ko bhagavatsvaroop manean to kabhi mohit ho hi nahian sakate. tinoan gunoan ka kary jo sharir hai, us sharir ko chahe apana man lean, chahe apane ko sharir man lean- donoan hi manyataoan se moh paida hota hai. sharir ko apana manana ‘mamata’ huee aur apane ko sharir manana ‘ahanta’ huee. sharir ke sath ahanta-mamata karana hi mohit hona hai. mohit ho jane se gunoan se sarvatha atit jo bhagavattattv hai, usako nahi jan sakata. yah us bhagavattattv ko tabhi jan sakata hai, jab trigunatmak sharir ke sath isaki ahanta-mamata mit jati hai. yah siddhaant hai ki manushy sansar se sarvatha alag hone par hi sansar ko jan sakata hai aur paramatma se sarvatha abhinn hone par hi paramatma ko jan sakata hai. karan isaka yah hai ki trigunatmak sharir se yah svayan sarvatha bhinn hai aur paramatma ke sath yah svayan sarvatha abhinn hai.
