sahasrayugaparyantamaharyadbrahmano viduah . arth- jo manushy brahma ke sahasr chaturyugiparyant ek din ko sahasr chaturyugiparyant ek rat ko janate haian, ve manushy brahma ke din aur rat ko janane vale haian. vyakhya- ‘sahasrayugaparyantamh..........teahoratravido janaah’- saty, treta, dvapar aur kali- mrityulok ke in char yugoan ko ek chaturyugi kahate haian. aisi ek hajar chaturyugi bitane par brahma ji ka ek din hota hai aur ek hajar chaturyugi bitane par brahma ji ki ek rat hoti hai.[1] din-rat ki isi ganana ke anusar sau varshoan ki brahma ji ki ayu hoti hai. brahma ji ki ayu ke sau varsh bitane par brahma ji paramatma mean lin ho jate haian aur unaka brahmalok bhi prakriti mean lin ho jata hai tatha prakriti paramatma mean lin ho jati hai. kitani hi b di ayu kyoan n ho, vah bhi kal ki avadhi vali hi hai. ooanche-se-ooanche kahe jane vale jo bhog haian, ve bhi sanyogajany hone se duahkhoan ke hi karan haian- ‘ye hi sansparshaja bhoga duahkhayonay ev te’[2] aur kal ki avadhi vale haian. keval bhagavan hi kalatit haian. is prakar kal ke tattv ko janane vale manushy brahmalok tak ke divy bhogoan ke kinchinmatr bhi mahattv dete haian. sanbandh- brahma ji ke din aur rat ko lekar jo sarg aur pralay hote haian, usaka varnan ab age ke do shlok mean karate haian. |

- ↑ atyant sookshm kal hai- paramanu- paramanu. do paramanuoan ka ek anu aur tin anuoan ka ek trasarenu hota hai. jharokhe se ayi soory-kiranoan mean trasarenu u date hue dikhate haian. aise tin trasarenuoan ko par karane mean soory jitana samay leta hai, use truti kahate haian. sau trutiyoan ka ek bedh, tin vedhoan ka ek lav, tin lavoan ka ek nimesh aur tin nimeshoan ka ek kshan hota hai. paanch kshanoan ki ek kashtha, pandrah kashthaoan ka ek laghu, pandrah laghuoan ki ek na dika, chhah na dikaoan ka ek prahar aur ath praharoan ka ek din-rat hota hai. pandrah din-ratoan ka ek paksh, do pakshoan ka ek mas, chhah masoan ka ek ayan aur do ayanoan ka ek varsh hota hai. is prakar manushyoan ke ek varsh ke saman devataoan ki ek din-rat hai arthat manushyoan ka chhah mahinoan ka uttarayan devataoan ka din hai aur chhah mahinoan ka dakshinayan devataoan ki rat hai. is tarah devataoan ke samay ka pariman manushyoan ke samay ke pariman se tin sau sath guna adhik mana jata hai. is hisab se manushyoan ka ek varsh devataoan ke ek din-rat, manushyoan ke tis varsh devataoan ka ek mahina aur manushyoan ke tin sau sath varsh devataoan ka ek divy varsh hai. aise hi manushy ke saty, treta, dvapar aur kali- ye char yug bitane par devataoan ka ek divyayug hota hai. arthat manushyoan ke satyayug ke satrah lakh atthaees hajar, treta ke barah lakh chhiyanabe hajar, dvapar ke ath lakh chauansath hajar aur kali ko char lakh battis hajar- aise kul taiantalis lakh bis hajar varshoan ke bitane par devataoan ka ek divyayug hota hai. isako ‘mahayug’ aur ‘chaturyugi’ bhi kahate haian. manushyoan aur devataoan ka samay ka pariman to soory se hota hai, par brahma ji ke din-rat ka pariman devataoan ke divy yugoan se hota hai arthat devataoan ke ek hajar divyayugoan ka (manushyoan ke char arab battis karo d varshoan ka) brahma ji ka ek din hota hai aur utane hi divyayugoan ki ek rat hoti hai. brahma ji ke isi din ko ‘kalp’ ya ‘sarg’ kahate haian aur rat ko ‘pralay’ kahate haian.
