arth- maian hi prithvi mean pravisht hokar apani shakti se samast praniyoan ko dharan karata hooan; aur maian hi rasamay chandrama ke roop mean samast aushadhiyoan- (vanaspatiyoan) ko pusht karata hooan. vyakhya- ‘gamavishy ch bhootani dharayamyahamojasa’- bhagavan hi prithvi mean pravesh karake us par sthit sanpoorn sthavar jangam praniyoan ko dharan karate haian. tatpary yah hai ki prithvi mean jo dharan-shakti dekhane mean ati hai, vah prithvi ki apani n hokar bhagavan ki hi hai.[1] vaijnanik bhi is bat ko svikar karate haian ki prithvi ki apeksha jal ka star ooancha hai aur prithvi par jal ka bhag sthal ki apeksha bahut adhik hai.[2] aisa hone par bhi prithvi jalamagn nahian hoti- yah bhagavan ki dharan shakti ka hi prabhav hai. prithvi ke upalakshan se yah samajhana chahie ki prithvi ke sivay jahaan bhi dharan-shakti dekhane mean ati hai, vah sab bhagavan ki hi hai. prithvi mean annadi oshadhiyoan ko utpann karane ki (utpadi ka) shakti evan gurutvakarshan shakti bhi bhagavan ki hi samajhani chahie. ‘pushnami chaushadhiah sarvaah somo bhootva rasatmakah’- chandrama mean do shaktiyaan haian- prakashika-shakti aur poshan-shakti. prakashika-shakti mean apane prabhav ka varnan poorvashlok mean karane ke bad ab bhagavan is shlok mean chandrama ki poshan-shakti mean apana prabhav batate haian ki chandrama ke madhyam se sanpoorn vanaspatiyoan ko maian hi pusht karata hooan. chandrama shukl paksh mean poshak aur krishn paksh mean shoshak hota hai. shukl paksh mean rasamay chandrama ki madhur kiranoan se amritavarsha hone ke karan hi lata-vrikshadi pusht hote haian aur phalate-phoolate haian. mata ke udar mean sthit shishu bhi shukl paksh mean vriddhi ko prapt hota hai.

‘svarg, soory, chandr tatha nakshatrasahit akash, das dishaean, prithvi aur mahasagar- ye sab bhagavan vasudev ki shakti se dharan kie hue haian.’

(shankaracharyakrit krishnashtakamh) ‘prithvi mean rahakar jo prithvi ka niyaman karate haian, parantu prithvi jinako nahian janati; ‘yah prithivyaan tishthanh prithvian yamayati yan prithivi n ved’ adi shrutiyoan se ved jin amalasvaroop ko jagath ka svami, niyamak, dhyey aur devata, manushy tatha munijanoan ko moksh dene vala batata hai, ve sharanagatavatsalanikhil bhuvaneshvar shrikrishnachandr mere netroan ke vishay hoan.’ - ↑ prithvi par jal ka kul bhag lagabhag ikahattar pratishat aur sthal ka kul bhag lagabhag untis pratishat mana jata hai.
