tatkshetran yachch yadrikh ch yadvikari yatashch yath .

arth- vah kshetr jo hai, jaisa hai, jin vikaroan vala hai aur jisase jo paida hua hai; tatha vah kshetrajn bhi jo hai aur jis prabhav vala hai, vah sab sankshep mean mere se sun.
vyakhya- ‘tatkshetramh’- ‘tath’ shabd do ka vachak hota hai- pahale kahe hue vishay ka aur doori ka. isi adhyay ke pahale shlok mean jisako ‘idamh’ pad se kaha gaya hai, usi ko yahaan ‘tath’ pad se kaha hai. kshetr sab desh mean nahian hai, sab kal mean nahian hai aur abhi bhi pratikshan abhav mean ja raha hai- yah kshetr ki (svayan se) doori hai.
‘yachch’- us kshetr ka jo svaroop hai, jisaka varnan isi adhyay ke paanchavean shlok mean hua hai.
‘yadrik ch’- us kshetr ka jaisa svabhav hai, jisaka varnan isi adhyay ke chhabbisavean-sattaeesavean shlokoan mean use utpann aur nasht hone vala batakar kiya gaya hai.
‘yadvikari’- yadyapi prakriti ka kary hone se isi adhyay ke paanchavean shlok mean aye teees tattvoan ko bhi vikar kaha gaya hai, tathapi yahaan uparyukt pad se kshetr-kshetrajn ke mane hue sanbandh ke karan kshetr mean utpann hone vale ichchha-dveshadi vikaroan ko hi vikar kaha gaya hai, jinaka varnan chhathe shlok mean hua hai.
‘yatashch yath’- yah kshetr jisase paida hota hai arthat prakriti se utpann hone vala sat vikar aur tin gun, jinaka varnan isi adhyay ke unnisavean shlok ke uttarardh mean hua hai.
‘s ch’- pahale shlok ke uttarardh mean jis kshetrajn ka varnan hua hai, usi kshetrajn ka vachak yahaan ‘sah’ pad hai aur usi ke vishay mean yahaan sunane ke lie kaha ja raha hai.
‘yah’- is kshetrajn ka jo svaroop hai, jisaka varnan isi adhyay ke bisavean shlok ke uttarardh mean aur baeesavean shlok mean kiya gaya hai.
‘yatprabhavashch’- vah kshetrajn jis prabhav vala hai; jisaka varnan isi adhyay ke ikatalisavean se taiantisavean shlok tak kiya gaya hai.
‘tatsamasen me shrrinu’- yahaan ‘tath’ pad ke aantargat kshetr aur kshetrajn- donoan ko lena chahie. tatpary hai ki vah kshetr jo hai, jaisa hai, jin vikaroan vala aur jisase paida hua hai- is tarah kshetr ke vishay mean char batean; aur vah kshetrajn jo hai aur jis prabhav vala hai- is tarah kshetrajn ke vishay mean do batean too mere se sankshep mean sun. yadyapi is adhyay ke aranbh mean pahale do shlok mean kshetr-kshetrajn ka sootraroop se varnan hua hai, jisako bhagavan ne ‘jnan’ bhi kaha hai tathapi kshetr-kshetrajn ke vibhag ke spasht roop se vivechan (vikar sahit kshetr aur nirvikar kshetrajn ke svaroop ka prabhavasahit vivechan) is tisare shlok se aranbh kiya gaya hai. isalie bhagavan isako savadhan hokar sunane ki ajna dete haian.
