harivansh puran: vishnu parv: ekashititam adhyay: shlok 1-22 ka hindi anuvad
uma devi kahati haian- jo pativrata shtri gunavan banhdhavoan ki ichhchha rakhati hai vah prathyek saphtami ko sada ek samay bhojan karake vhyatit kare. tathpashchat varsh poorn hone par brahman ko dakshina sahit ek suvarnamay vriksh ka dan kare. isase vah shubh gun samhpanhn banhdhu-banhdhavoan se yukht hoti hai. jo nari sada uthtam karanj (kanja ya karaj) vriksh ke niche dip dan karati hai use varsh poorn hone par suvarnamay dipak ka dan karana chahiye. shubhe! vah shtri apani sunhdar kanti se pati ki pran valhlabha ban jati hai aur putravati hoti hai. vah sapatniyoan mean sabase ooancha shthan bana leti hai aur dipak ki bhaanti prakashit hoti rahati hai. saumhye! jo shtri pratidin sabake bhojan ke pashhchat shesh anhn ka ahar karati hai, kisi ke hriday ko chot nahian pahuanchati, bina khaye nahian rahati aur sada pativrathy mean sthit rahati hai, sada shauchachar ka palan karati hai, kabhi rookhi bati nahian bolati, pratidin sas-sasur ki seva mean tathpar rahati hai, us sati shtri ko vratoan se khya karana hai? athava upavasoan se khya prayojan hai? jo sada pati ko hi devataoan ki bhaanti poojati hai aur sathy-dharm tatha sadgunoan se samhpanhn hai (usaka jivan saphal hai). sunhdar katipradesh vali pativrate! jo sati-sadhhvi nari kabhi daivayog se vidhava ho jay, usake lie puranoan mean jo dharm bataya gaya hai, usaka varnan karati hooan. vah pati ke chitr mean athava usaki mitti ki pratima mean pati ki bhavana karake sada usi ki pooja kare aur sathpurushoan ke dharm ka niranhtar shmaran rakhe. uthtam vrat ka palan karane vali vah shtri pratidin usi (chitragat ya pratimagat) pati se vrat, upavas aur visheshat: bhojan ke liye ajna maange. yadi vah apane pati ka ulhlanghan nahian karati to patilok mean hi jati hai aur shvarg mean pativrata shandili ki bhaanti sada soory ke saman prakashit hoti rahati hai. aj se samasht devataoan ki patniyaan jo puran-pratipadit sanatan punhyak vidhi hai, usaka darshan kareangi. dharmata narad muni bhi vrat-upavas ki samhpoorn pauranik vidhi ke jnata hoange. shreshth somakumari! aditi devi, inhdrani aur tum bhi apani tapashya se us vidhi ko janogi. punhyakoan aur vratoan ke pravartan (aramhbh) mean sada tum sadgunavati deviyoan ka sati nariyoan dvara kirtan hoga. mahathma vishhnu ke sabhi avataroan mean jo unaki patniyaan hoangi, ve upavas-vrat evan punhyoan ki samhpoorn sanatan vidhi ko yahaan sada hi yathavat roop se janeangi. sabhi dharmoan athava shtri dharmoan mean patibhakti, durachar ka abhav aur durvachan ka prayog karana- in tinoan ki vishesh roop se prashansa ki jati hai. narad ji kahate haian- devi! mahadevi parvati ke aisa kahane par ve sadhhvi tapodhana deviyaan harsh mean bharakar un har priya parvati ko pranam karake apane-apane shthan ko chali gayian. dharmacharini aditi ne jo vrat kiya, use suno- uma ne pahale jo vrat ki vidhi batayi thi, us sabaka palan aditi devi ne kiya. unhhoanne maharshi kashyap ko parijat mean baandhakar mere hath mean de diya. isi ka nam ‘aditivratak’ hai. aditi ne jis tarah vratak (vrat samhbanhdhi dan) diya tha, usi prakar sathyabhama ne bhi diya. nithy dharmaparayana savitri ne bhi vahi vrat kiya aur usi tarah dan diya tha. unhhian samuchit sadhanoan se sanyukht hone ke karan yah sandhhyakal athyanht uthkrishht mana gaya hai. sandhhya kal ane par jagah-jagah kiya gaya poojan, namashkar aur jap dvigun mana gaya hai. |
