he nagaraj, jisamean charitr hai, vahi brahman hai; jisamean charitr nahian, vah shoodr hai. apane jo yah kaha ki sukh aur duahkh in donoan se atit koee vedy vastu nahian hai, to mera kahana hai ki aisa bhi ek pad hai, jahaan sukh aur duahkh ka parichay nahian, jaise shit aur ushn in donoan ke bich mean ek aisi sthiti hoti hai, jise n shit kah sakate haian, n ushn.’’ nagaraj ne dharmaraj ko punah tark mean chaanpate hue kaha, ‘‘yadi tumhare mat se charitr se hi brahman hai, tab bina charitr ya karm ke jati vyarth thaharati hai.’’ prashn mamooli nahian hai. yah jati-paanti ke vriksh par sada-sada uthane vala b da kulha da hai, par is katile prashn se bhi yudhishthir nahian thithake. unhoanne usi dhirata aur sahas se uttar diya, ‘‘he nagaraj, yahaan manushyoan mean jati hai hi kahaan? kaun-si vah jati hai, jisamean varn ka sankar n hua ho? varnoan ki apasi milavat ke karan jati ki thik-thik pahachan ki bat uthana vyarth hai. sab log sab prakar ki striyoan mean putrotpatti kar rahe haian, isalie jo tattvadarshi haian, unake mat mean shil hi mukhy hai. janm ke bad varnoan ke jatakram adi sanskar bhi kiye jayan, par agar kisi mean charitr nahian hai to maian use varnasankar ki halat mean hi p da hua samajhooanga. he nagaraj, isalie maianne pahale kaha ki jis vyakti mean nikhara hua charitr (sanskrit vritt) hai, vahian brahman hai.’’[1] bharatiy sanskriti ki vishvatma ko prakat karane vale ye udgar vyas ki abhinav dharm-vyakhya ke antargat prakashaman mani-ratn haian. |
