is vishay par bhagavadgita hi mukhh‍y aur praman-bhoot granh‍th hai; aur kavh‍y ki drishti se bhi yahi thik janchata hai, ki bharat-bhoomi ke karta purushoan ke charitr jis mahabharat mean varnit haian; usi mean adhh‍yath‍mashash‍tr ko le kar karmayog ki bhi upapatti batalaee jave. is bat ka bhi ab achh‍chhi tarah se pata lag jata hai, ki prash‍thanatrayi mean bhagavadgita ka samavesh kh‍yoan kiya gaya hai. yadyapi upanishad moolabhoot haian; to bhi unake kahanevale rrishi anek haian; is karan unake vichar sankirn aur kuchh sh‍thanoan mean parash‍par-viruddh bhi dekh p date haian isaliye upashidoan ke sath hi sath, unaki ekavakh‍yata karane vale vedaantasootr, donoan ki apeksha yadi gita mean kuchh adhikata n hoti, to prash‍thanatrayi mean gita ke sangrah karane ka koee bhi karan n tha. kinh‍tu upanishadoan ka jhukav pray: sannh‍yas marg ki or hai, evan visheshat: unamean jnan marg ka hi pratipadan hai; aur bhagavadgita mean is jnan ko le kar bhaktiyukh‍t karmayog ka samarthan hai-bas, itana hi kah dene se gita grannh‍th ki apoorvata siddh ho jati hai aur sath hi sath prash‍thanatrayi ke tinoan bhagoan ki sarthakata bhi vh‍yakh‍t ho jati hai. kh‍yoanki vaidik dharm ke pramanabhoot grannh‍th mean yadi jnan aur karm ( saankhh‍y aur yog ) donoan vaidik margoan ka vichar n hua hota, to prash‍thanatrayi utani apoorn hi rah jati. kuchh logoan ki samajh hai ki, jab upanishad samanh‍yat: vi‍dhoottivishayak haian, tab gita ka pravrittivishayak arth lagane se prash‍thanatrayi ke tinoan bhagoan mean virodh ho jayaga aur unaki pramanikata mean bhi nh‍yoonata a pavegi.

yadi saankhh‍y arthath ek sannh‍yas hi sachh‍cha vaidik mokshamarg ho, to yah shanka thik hogi. paranh‍tu oopar dikhalaya ja chuka hai, ki kam se kam eeshavash‍y adi kuchh upanishadoan mean to karmayog ka sh‍pashh‍t ulh‍lekh hai. isaliye vaidik dharm-purush ko keval ekahath‍thi arthath sannh‍yasapradhan n samajh kar yadi gita ke anusar aisa siddhanh‍t karean ki us vaidik dharm-purush ke brahmavidyaroop ek hi mash‍tak hai aur mokshadrishti se tulh‍y balavale saankhh‍y aur karmayog usake dahine-baean do hath haian, to gita aur upanishadoan mean koee virodh nahian rah jata. upanishadoan mean ek marg ka samarthan hai, aur gita mean doosare marg ka; isaliye prash‍thanatrayi ke ye donoan bhag bhi do hathoan ke saman, parash‍par-viruddh n ho, sahayakari hi dekh p deange. aise hi, gita mean keval upanishadoan ka hi pratipadan manane se, pishh‍tapeshan ka jo vaiyarthh‍y gita ko praph‍t ho jata, vah bhi nahian hota. gita ke samh‍yadayik tikakaroan ne is vishay ki upeksha ki hai, is karan saankhh‍y aur yog, donoan margoan ke purash‍krit apane apane panh‍th ke samarthan mean jin mukhh‍y karanoan ko batalaya karate haian, unaki samata aur vishamata chatapat dhh‍yan mean a jane ke liye niche likhe gaye nakh‍she ke do khanoan mean ve hi karan parash‍par ek doosare ke samane sankshep se diye gaye haian. sh‍mritignanthoan mean pratipadit sh‍mart ashram-vh‍yavasatha aur mool bhagavat dharm ke mukhh‍y mukhh‍y bhed isase jnat ho javeange.
