shrimadbhagavadgita hamare dharm granthoan mean ek atyant tejasvi aur nirmal hira hai. piand brahmand jnan sahit atm vidya ke goodh aur pavitr tattvoan ko tho de mean aur spasht riti se samajha dene vala, unhian tattvoan ke adhar par manushy mean purusharth ki arthat adhyatmik poornavastha ki pahachan kara dene vala, bhakti aur jnan ka mel karake in donoan ka shastrokt vyavahar ke sath sanyog kara dene vala aur isake dvara sansar se duahkhit manushy ko shaanti dekar use nishkam kartavy ke acharan mean lagane vala gita ke saman balabodh granth, sanskrit ki kaun kahe, samast sansar ke sahity mean nahian mil sakata. keval kavy ki hi drishti se yadi isaki pariksha ki jay to bhi yah granth uth‍tam kavyoan mean gina ja sakata hai, kyoanki isamean atm jnan ke anek goodh siddhaant aisi prasadik bhasha mean likhe gaye haian ki ve boodhoan aur bachchoan ko ek saman sugam haian aur isamean jnanayukt bhakti ras bhi bhara p da hai. jis granth mean samast vaidik dharm ka sar svayan shrikrishn bhagavan ki vani se sangrahit kiya gaya hai usaki yogyata ka varnan kaise kiya jaye?
mahabharat ki l daee samapt hone par ek din shrikrishn aur arjun premapoorvak batachit kar rahe the. us samay arjun ke man mean ichchha huee ki shrikrishn se ek bar aur gita sunean. turant arjun ne vinati ki 'maharaj! apane jo upadesh mujhe yuddh mean diya tha use maian bhool gaya hooan, kripa kar ek bar aur batalaiye. tab shrikrishh‍n bhagavan ne uth‍tar diya ki 'us samay maianne ath‍yant yogayukh‍t aantakaran se upadesh diya tha. ab sanbhav nahian ki maian vaisa hi upadesh dubara kar sakooan. yah bat anugita ke aranmbh [3] mean di huee hai. sach poochho to bhagavan shrikrishnachandr ke liye kuchh bhi asanbhav nahian haian; parantu unake ukt kathan se yah bat achchhi tarah maloom ho sakati hai ki gita ka mahattv kitana adhik hai. yah granth, vaidik dharm ke bhinn bhinn sanpradayoan mean, ved ke saman, aj qarib dhaee hajar varsh se, sarvamany tatha praman svaroop ho raha hai; isaka karan bhi ukt granth ka mahattv hi hai, isiliye gita dhyan mean is smritikalin granth ka alankar yukt, parantu yatharth varnan is prakar kiya gaya hai: -

sarvopanishadoan gavo dogdha gopalanandanah.
partho vatsah sudhirbhokta dugh‍dhan gitamritan mahath॥

arthat jitane upanishad haian ve mano gau haian, shrikrishn svayan doodh duhane vale gvala haian, buddhiman arjun us gau ko panhane vala bhokta bachh da (vats) hai aur jo doodh duha gaya vahi madhur gitamrit hai.

  1. narayan ka, manushyoan mean jo shreshth nar hai usako, sarasvati devi ko aur vyasaji ko namaskar karake phir ‘jay’ arthat mahabharat ko padhana chahiye- yah shlok ka arth hai. mahabharat (u. 48, 7-9 aur 20-22; tatha van. 12, 44-46) mean likha hai ki nar aur narayan ye donoan rrishi do svaroopoan mean vibhakt sakshat paramatma hi haian aur inhian donoan ne phir arjun tatha shrikrishn ka avatar liya. sab bhagavat dharmiy granthoan ke aranbh mean inhian ko pratham isaliye namaskar karate haian ki nishkam karmayukt narayaniy tatha bhagavat dharm ko inhoanne hi pahale pahale jari kiya tha. is shlok mean kahian ‘vyas’ ke badal ‘chaiv’ path bhi hai. parantu hamean yah yukti sangat nahian maloom hota; kyoanki, jaise bhagavat dharm ke pracharak nar-narayan ko pranam karana sarvatha uchit hai, vaise hi is dharm ke do mukhy granthoan mahabharat aur gita ke karta vyasaji ko bhi namaskar karana uchit hai. mahabharat ka prachin nam ‘jay’ hai ( maha. a. 62.20 .)
