isase siddh hota hai ki parabrahm aur usi ka aansh sharir ath‍ma, donoan mool mean sh‍vatanh‍tr arthat karmath‍mak prakriti ki satta se mukh‍t haian. inamean se paramath‍ma ke vishay mean jin manushh‍y ko isase adhik jnan nahi ho sakata ki vah ananh‍t, sarvavh‍yapi, nith‍y shuddh aur mukh‍t hai. paranh‍tu is paramath‍ma hi ke aansh-roop jivath‍ma ki bat bhinh‍n hai; yadyapi vah mool me shuddh, mukh‍tash‍vabhav, nirgun tatha akarta hai, t‍thapi sharir aur buddhi adi indriyoan ke banh‍dhanoan mean phans jane ke karan jab vah manushh‍y ke man mean sh‍phoorti uth‍panh‍n karata hai tab manushh‍y ko usaka prath‍yakshanubhavaroopi jnan ho sakata hai. bhaph ka udaharan lijiye, jab vah khuli jagah mean rahati hai tab usaka kuchh jor nahian chalata; paranh‍tu jab vah kisi bartan mean band kar di jati hai tab usaka dabav us bartan par jor se p dane lagata hai; thik isi prakar jab paramath‍ma ka hi aanshabhoot jiv[1] anadi poorv-karmarjit j d deh tatha idrianyo ke banh‍dhanoan se banh‍d ho jata hai, tab is baddhavash‍tha se usako mukh‍t karane ke liye ( mokshanukool ) karm karane ki pravriti dehendriyo mean hone lagati hai; aur isi ko vh‍yavaharik drishti se ‘’ ath‍ma ki sh‍vatanh‍tr pravriti‘’ kahate haian .

‘’vh‍yavaharik drishti se ‘’ kahane ka karan yah hai ki shuddh mukh‍tavash‍tha mean ya ‘’tatvik drishti se‘’ ath‍ma ichh‍chha-rahit tatha akarta hai– sab kartath‍v keval prakriti ka hai[2]. paranh‍tu vedanh‍ti log saankhh‍y-mat ki bhaanti yah nahian manate ki prakriti hi sh‍vayan mokshanukul karm kiya karati hai; kh‍yoanki aisa man lene se yah kahana p dega ki j d prakriti apane aandhepan se ajnaniyoan ko bhi mukh‍t kar de sakati hai. aur, yah bhi nahian kaha ja sakata ki jo ath‍ma mool hi mean akarta hai, vah sh‍vatanh‍tr riti se arthat bina kisi nimitt karan ke apane naisargik gunoan se hi pravartak ho jata hai. isaliye ath‍m–sh‍vatanh‍tray ke ukh‍t siddhaant ko vedanh‍tashash‍tr mean kuchh aise shabh‍doan se batalana p data hai, ki ath‍ma yadyapi mool mean akarta hai tathapi banh‍dhanoan ke nimitt se vah itane hi ke liye dikhaoo prerak ban jata hai, aur jab yah aganh‍tuk prerakata usamean ek bar kisi bhi nimitt se a jati hai, tab vah karm ke niyamoan se bhinh‍n arthat sh‍vatanh‍tr hi rahati hai. ‘’sh‍vatanh‍tr‘’ ka arth nirnimittak nahian hai, aur ath‍ma apani mool shuddhavash‍tha mean karta hi nahi rahata. paranh‍tu bar bar is lamh‍bi chau di karm-katha ko n batalate rah kar isi ko sankshep mean ath‍ma ki sh‍vatanh‍tr pravriti ya prerana kahane ki paripati ho gee hai.
