trayodash adhyay
sambandh- is prakar nity vijnananandaghan atmatattv ko sarvatr samabhav se dekhane ka mahattv aur phal batalakar ab agale shlok mean use akarta dekhane vale ki mahima kahate haian-
prakrityaiv ch karmani kriyamanani sarvash: .
y: pashyati tathatmanamakartaran s pashyati .. 29 ..
aur jo purush sampoorn karmoan ko sab prakar se prakriti ke dvara hi kiye jate hue dekhata hai aur atma ko akarta dekhata hai, vahi yatharth dekhata hai.. 29 ..
prashn- tisare adhyay ke sattaeesavean, atthaisavean aur chaudahavean adhyay ke unnisavean shlokoan mean samast karmoan ka gunoan dvara kiye jate hue batalaya gaya hai tatha paanchavean adhyay ke athavean, navean shlokoan mean sab indriyoan ka indriyoan ke vishayoan mean baratana kaha gaya hai; aur yahaan sab karmoan ko prakriti dvara kiye jate hue dekhane ko kahate haian. is prakar tin tarah ke varnan ka kya abhipray hai?
uttar- sattv, raj aur tam- ye tinoan gun prakriti ke hi kary haian; tatha samast indriyaan aur man, buddhi adi evan indriyoan ke vishay- ye sab bhi gunoan ka vistar haian. atev indriyoan ka indriyoan ke vishayoan mean baratana, gunoan ka gunoan mean baratana adi gunoan dvara samast karmoan ko kiye jate hue batalana bhi sab karmoan ko prakriti dvara hi kiye jate hue batalana hai. is prakar sab jagah vastutah ek hi bat kahi gayi hai; isamean kisi prakar ka bhed nahian hai. sabhi jagahoan ke kathan ka abhipray atma mean kartapan ka abhav dikhalana hai.
prashn- atma ko akarta dekhana kya hai aur jo aisa dekhata hai, vahi yatharth dekhata hai- is kathan ka kya abhipray hai?
uttar- atma nity, shuddh, buddh, mukt aur sab prakar ke vikaroan se rahit hai; prakriti se usaka kuchh bhi sambandh nahian hai. atev vah n kisi bhi karm ka karta hai aur n karmoan ke phal ka bhokta hi hai- is bat ka aparokshabhav se anubhav kar lena ‘atma ko akarta samajhana’ hai. tatha jo aisa dekhata hai, vahi yatharth dekhata hai- is kathan se usaki mahima prakat ki gayi hai. abhipray yah hai ki jo atma ko man, buddhi aur sharir ke sambandh se samast karmoan ka karta-bhokta samajhate haian unaka dekhana bhramayukt hone se galat hai.
