uttar- pahale adhyay ke ant mean jinake shokamagn hokar baith jane ki bat kahi gayi hai, un arjun ka vachak yahaan ‘tam’ pad hai aur usake sath uparyukt visheshanoan ka prayog karake unaki sthiti ka varnan kiya gaya hai. abhipray yah hai ki pahale adhyay mean jisaka vistarapoorvak varnan ho chuka hai, us bandhu-snehajanit karunayukt kayarata ke bhav se jo vyapt haian, jinake netr aansuoan se poorn aur vyakul haian tatha jo bandhu-bandhavoan ke nash ki ashanka se evan unhean marane mean bhayanak pap hone ke bhay se shok mean nimagn ho rahe haian, aise arjun se bhagavanh bole. prashn- yahaan ‘madhusoodan’ nam ke prayog ka aur ‘vakyamh’ ke sath ‘idamh’ pad ke prayog ka kya bhav hai? uttar- bhagavanh ke ‘madhusoodan’ nam ka prayog karake tatha ‘vakyamh’ ke sath ‘idamh’ visheshan dekar sanjay ne dhritarashtr ko chetavani di hai. abhipray yah hai ki bhagavanh shrikrishn ne pahale devataoan par atyachar karane vale ‘madhu’ namak daity ko mara tha, is karan inaka nam ‘madhusoodan’ p da; ve hi bhagavanh yuddh se muanh mo de hue arjun ko aise (age kahe jane vale) vachanoan dvara yuddh ke liye utsahit kar rahe haian. aisi avastha mean apake putroan ki jit kaise hogi, kyoanki apake putr bhi atyachari haian aur atyachariyoan ka vinash karana bhagavanh ka kam hai; atev apane putroan ko samajhakar ab bhi ap[1] sandhi kar lean, to inaka sanhar ruk jay. |

- ↑ smaran rahe ki ye batean sanjay ne dhritarashtr se das din tak yuddh ho jane ke pashchath kahi thian; atah ‘ab bhi sandhi kar lean’ isaka yah abhipray samajhana chahiye ki shesh bache hue kutumb ki raksha ke liye ab das din ke bad bhi apako sandhi kar leni chahiye, isi mean buddhimatta hai.
