nantosti mam divyanaan vibhootinaan parantap .
esh tooddeshat: prokto vibhootervistaro maya ॥40॥

he parantap arjun! meri divy vibhootiyoan ka ant nahian hai. maianne (tumhare samane apani) vibhootiyoan ka jo vistar kaha hai, yah to keval sankshep se namamatr kaha hai.

vyakhya- sagun-nirgun, sakar-nirakar tatha manushy, devata, pashu, pakshi, bhoot, pret, pishach adi jo kuchh bhi hai, vah sab milakar bhagavan ka hi samagraroop hai arthath sab bhagavan ki hi vibhootiyaan haian, unaka hi aishvary hai. tatpary hai ki ek bhagavan ke sivay kuchh nahian haian. parivartanashil asat aur aparivartanashil sath-donoan hi bhagavan ki vibhootiyaan haian-‘sadasachchahamarjun’[1]. atah jisamean hamara akarshan hota hai, vah vastav mean bhagavan ka hi akarshan hai. parantu bhogabuddhi ke karan vah akarshan bhagavatprem mean parinat n hokar, kam, asakti, moh mean parinat ho jata hai, jo sansar mean baandhane vala hai.

poorvapaksh- jab sab kuchh bhagavan hi haian, to phir vibhooti-varnan ka kya prayojan hai?

uttarapaksh- arjun ka prashn hi yahi tha ki maian kahaan-kahaan apaka chintan karooan? yadyapi sab kuchh bhagavan hi haian, tathapi manushy ko jis vastu-vyakti mean visheshata dikhati hai, us vastu-vyakit mean bhagavan ko dekhana, unaka chintan karana sugam p data hai. karan ki man mean usaki visheshata aankit ho jane se man svatah vahaan jata hai. isiliye bhagavan ne apani mukhy-mukhy vibhootiyoan ka varnan kiya hai. is karan sadhak ka kahian bhi rag-dvesh n hokar bhagavan ki taraph hi drishti rahani chahiye.
