4. baddh-mukt-mumukshu sadhak

(11.8) evan viraktah shayan asanatanamajjane.
darshan-sparshan-ghran-bhojan-shravanadishu॥[1]

bhagavan jnani ka varnan kar rahe haian : jnani kya nahian karata? jnani sota hai, baithata hai, ghoomata hai, sunata hai, dekhata hai, bhojan karata hai, shravan karata hai. vah sab kuchh karata hai, phir bhi virakt rahata hai. vah bhojan karega, bhookha nahian rahega, lekin usase virakt rahega.

(11.9) n tatha badhyate vidvanh tatr tatradayanh gunanh.
prakritisthoapyasansakto yatha khan savitanilah॥[2]

vah gunoan ka svikar karega. tatr tatradayanh gunanh –indriyoan ke jo gun haian, ve bhi lega, lekin unase bandh nahian jaega, kyoanki vah unamean asakt nahian rahata. thand lag rahi ho, to vastr odh lega aur garmi ho rahi ho to pheank dega – is tarah anasakt rahega. ajakal to log garami mean bhi kurata pahane rahate haian. kurata n pahaneange, to vah sabhyata ka lakshan nahian mana jaega. baba ko jab garami mahasoos hoti hai, to vah oopar ki chadar pheank deta hai. to, ab yah tay karana hoga ki deh ko kurate ki tarah dharan karana hai ya baba ki chadar ki tarah? kurate ki tarah dharan kareange to garami hote hue bhi use pahanana hoga. hona to yah chahie ki sharir phat gaya, to utarakar rakh diya. isi ka nam hai maran. itani saral chij hai, yah! yadi koee manushy marata hai, to rone-chillane ki koee jaroorat nahian. jnani aisi virakti se sari kriyaean karata hai. pravritti mean rahate hue bhi vah usamean asakt nahian hota.

  1. akash ko hi lijiye. barish ayi-gayi, megh, aye-gaye, akash ko ve chipakate nahian.
  2. sooryanarayan hai. vah sabako prakash deta hai. phir usake prakash mean ap chahe bhagavat padhean, chahe upanyas. sooryanarayan yah nahian kahega ki bhagavat mat padhiye ya bhagavat padhiye. prakash dena hi usaka kam hai. 'miltan' ke bare mean vardasvarth ne kaha hai: 'teri atma aisi hi alag rahegi, jaisa soory.' apaki bhalaee ya buraee ka jimma vah nahian uthayega. isi ka nam hai, asansattk.
  3. anil ya pavan ka bhi yahi hal hai. vah aj yahaan hai, to kal vahaan. bilakul anasattk ! sabake vyavahar mean madad karata hai aur sabase alipt rahata hai. vaise hi sabake vyavahar mean ham madad karean, lekin alag ho jayan.


isaka yah matalab nahian ki sharab pi lean aur usase alag ho jaean. sharab pina koee kartavy nahian. yadi kuchh khane-pine ki jaroorat ho aur use vah kartavy samajhata ho, to kha-pi sakata hai, baith sakata hai. matalab yah ki avashyak ya yogy kam karata hua yah anasakt rahata hai. indriyoan se vishay-sevan karate hue bhi anasakt! bhojan karate samay pet mean kuchh dalana sharir ke lie avashyak hai, yah khayal rakhakar vah bhojan karega. isalie usake hath mean kunji hai. kitana kholana, yah tay karake vah utana hi kholata hai aur baki band rakhata hai. isake lie gita mean kachhue ki upama di gayi hai. jahaan dhokha hota hai, vahaan vah apani sari indriyaan andar khianch leta hai. jab surakshitata mahasoos hoti hai, to bahar nikalata hai. indriyoan ko kab khola jae aur kab band kiya jae, yah tay karake hi jnani koee kam karata hai. yani vidvan vishayoan ka grahan karate hue bhi unaka asar apane par nahian hone deta, unase bandh nahian jata. vah adayanh gunanh –gun leta hai, lekin unaka bhi parinam hone nahian deta.


vayu, sooryanarayan aur akash, ye jo tin upamaean dian, unamean tin avasthaean haian. soory apake vyavahar se atyant ooancha hai. soory ko ap chhoo nahian sakate, par vah ooanchi jagah rahakar bhi apaki madad kar pata hai. vah apake vyavahar mean shamil nahian. akash apake vyavahar mean shamil nahian, par apake vyavahar mean ot-prot, bhara hua hai. apake sabhi vyavaharoan mean shamil hai. phir bhi ap use lep nahian laga sakate. divar ko ap rang laga sakate haian, par akash apake asapas chhaya hone par bhi ap use rang nahian sakate. pavan kaisa hai? baba ki yatra hi samajho. matr ek din ka sambandh! aj ek jagah, to kal doosari jagah. jahaan jaega, vahaan logoan ki kuchh madad karega aur logoan se madad bhi lega. log baba ko khilaeange-pilaeange aur vah logoan ke masale hal karane mean madad karega. doosare din age badhega. isi tarah pavan bhi parivrajak hai. vah kahian nahian chipakata.


ye tin prakar ke jnani hue. ab ap sochiye ki in tinoan mean sabase kathin sthiti kisaki hai? dekhane mean to pavan ka kam asan dikhata hai aur akash ka kathin. yadi akash ke saman banana chahean, to apako bilakul shoony banana hoga. akash shoony hai. shoony banana kathin mamala hai. soory ka kam bhi asan dikhata hai. vah ooancha rahata hai aur svany kuchh nahian karata. hamean lagata hai ki vah prakash deta hai, lekin vah prakash nahian deta, hamean usase prakash milata hai. ‘maian hooan’ isake alava aur kuchh vah janata hi nahian. lekin usaka jnan itana prakhar hai ki usake dvara vah sabake pas pahuanchata hai. pavan mean seva-vritti hai. vah seva karata aur bhag jata hai. soory mean jnan-prakharata hai. vah atyant prakhar hai. vah yadi apaki seva karane ke lie apake ghar aye, to kya ap use svikar kareange? isi tarah atyant prakhar jnani yadi duniya mean prakat hoan, to duniya jal jaegi. isalie ve door rahakar hi madad karate haian. akash shoony hai. akash mean nirahankarata ka lakshan hai. pavan mean alpit seva ka lakshan hai, to soory mean prakhar jnan ka lakshan. inamean se yadi kisi ek ko chunana ho to vah mushkil hoga, kyoanki sabaki sab avasthaean kathin haian, saralata se prapt hone vali nahian. lekin kathin kam karane ke lie hi to manav-janm hai!
