jis samay maharaj parikshit ganga ke tat par akar baithe us samay bahut se rrishi, muni, siddh evan yogindragan unake pas aye. un sabase unhoanne yahi prashn kiya ki ‘bhagavan! maian maranasann hooan; atah mumoorshu purush ke liye jo ekamatr kartavy ho vah mujhe batalaiye.’ is vishay mean us munindr-mandali mean vichar ho raha tha; bhinn-bhinn mahanubhav apane bhinn-bhinn mat prakat kar rahe the; abhi kuchh nishchay nahian ho paya tha ki itane mean shukadev ji a gaye. unase bhi yahi prashn hua. raja ne poochha, ‘bhagavan! ab meri mrityu mean keval sat din shesh haian; atah koee aisa krity batalaiye jisake karane se maian dhiroan ki praptavy gati ko prapt kar sakooan.’ tab shri shukadev ji bole, ‘rajan! any anatmajn logoan ke liye to sahasroan sadhan haian, parantu bhaktoan ke liye to ekamatr shriharishravan hi paramavalamb hai.’ isake tin bhed haian- shrihari ka svaroopashravan, gunashravan aur namashravan. isi prakar shrihari-kirtan bhi tin prakar ka hai- svaroopakirtan, gunakirtan aur namakirtan. upanishadadi se bhagavan ka svaroopakirtan hota hai, itihas-puranadi se roopagun kirtan hota hai aur vishnusahasr-namadi se namakirtan hota hai. karmakand bhi bhagavan ka hi svaroop hai- “yajnen yajnamayajant devastani dharmani prathamanyasanh.” karm hi kya, yah sara prapanch ekamatr bhagavan hi to hai; bhoot, bhavishyath, vartaman jo kuchh hai bhagavan se bhinn nahian hai- “purush evedagvan sarv yatkianch bhootan yachch bhavyamh.” shruti, smriti, itihas, puran sabake adi, ant aur madhy mean shrihari ka hi kirtan kiya gaya hai- “vede ramayane chaiv purane bharate tatha. is prakar shrishukadev ji ne bhagavachchhravan hi us samay mukhy kartavy batalaya aur isike liye shrimadbhagavat shravan karaya. |
