9. saankhy, yog aur vedaant
isake uttar mean bhagavanh yah batalate haian ki saankhy jnan aur sannyas ka marg hai aur yog karm ka; parantu yog ke bina arthath jab tak samatv-buddhi se, phalechchha rahit hokar, is bat ko janate hue ki karm prakriti ke dvara hota hai atma ke dvara nahian, jab tak karm yajnarth nahian kiya jata tab tak sachche sannyas ka hona asanbhav hai; par yah kahakar phir turant hi bhagavanh yah bhi kahate haian ki jnan yajn hi sabase shreshth yajn hai, sab karm jnan mean hi parisamapt hote haian, jnan ki agni se sab karm dagdh ho jate haian; isaliye jo purush apani atma ko pa leta hai usake karm yog ke dvara sannyast hote haian aur use karm ka bandhan nahian hota. arjun ki buddhi phir chakara jati hai; kyoanki nishkam karm to hua yog ka siddhaant, aur karm-sannyas hua saankhy ka siddhaant, aur donoan hi siddhaant, use ek sath bataye ja rahe haian manoan donoan ek hi prakriya ke do bhag hoan; par in donoan mean koee mel to dikhata hi nahian karan jis tarah ka mel pahale bhagavanh guru bata chuke-arthath bahm akarm mean karm ko hote hue dekhana aur bahm karm mean yatharth akarm ko dekhana, kyoanki purush apane karta hone ka bhram tyag chuka hai aur apane karm yajn ke svami ke hathoan me sauanp chuka hai- vah mel arjun ki vyavaharik buddhi ke liye itana barik, itana sookshm hai aur yah aisi pahelidar bhasha mean prakat kiya gaya hai ki arjun isake ashay ko nahian grahan kar saka ya kam–se kam isake marm aur isaki vastavikata tak nahian pahuanch saka.
isaliye vah poochhata hai ki, “he krishn, ap mujhe karm ka sannyas bata rahe haian aur phir kahate haian ki yog kar, to isamean kaunasa marg uttam hai yah mujhe spasht roop se nishchit karake bataiye.“[1] bhagavanh isaka jo uttar dete haian vah mahattvapoorn hai, kyoanki usase yog aur saankhy ka bhed ekadam spasht ho jata hai aur inake samanvay ka ek sanket mil jata hai, usamean samanvayasabandhi poorn vicharadhara abhi nahian batayi gayi hai. vah uttar hai, “sannyas aur karmayog donoan hi tivr ko mukt karane vale haian, par in donoan mean karmayog sannyas ki apeksha shreshth hai. usi ko nity sannyasi janana chahiye jo (karm karate hue bhi) n dvesh karata hai n akaanksha hi; kyoanki nirdvandv hone se vah anayas aur sukhapoorvak bandhan se mukt hota hai. saankhy aur yog ko alpabuddhi ke log hi ek-doosare se prithak batalaya karate haian, jnani nahian; yadi koee munashy sanpoorn roop se kisi ek mean hi lage to vah donoan ka phal pa jata hai,”[2] kyoanki apani sanpoornata mean ye donoan hi ek-doosare ko dharan kiye hue hai.
