yoayan yogastvaya proktah samyen madhusoodan.
etasyahan n pashyami chanchalatvatsthitian sthiramh॥33॥
arjun ne kaha– he madhusoodan! apane jis yogapaddhati ka sankshep mean varnan kiya hai, vah mere lie avyavaharik tatha asahaniy hai, kyoanki man chanchal tatha asthir hai.

bhavanuvad- bhagavanh ke dvara kathit samyabhav ke lakshanoan ko dushkar (durooh) janakar arjun ‘yoayamh’ ityadi kah rahe haian. maian samy dvara prapt yog ki sthiti sabhi dishaoan mean nahian dekh raha hooan arthath yah yog sada-sarvada ke lie nahian rah sakata hai, yah to matr do-char dinoan ke lie hai. man ki chanchalata hi isaka karan hai. isi prakar apane sukh-duahkh ke saman hi jagath ke any logoan ke sukh-duahkh ko samajhana chahie-is vaky mean samy kaha gaya hai. yahaan jo apane bandhu athava tatasth vyakti haian, unake prati to samyabhav ho sakata hai, kintu shatru, ghatak, dveshi evan nindakoan ke prati aisa asambhav hai. maian apane, yudhishthir aur duryodhan ke sukh-duahkh ko sampoornaroop se ek saman dekhane mean asamarth hooan. yadyapi apane aur apane shatruoan ke jivatma, paramatma, pran evan indriyayukt dehadhari jivoan ko vivek dvara ek saman dekha jata hai, parantu yah bhi do-char dinoan ke lie hai. kyoanki, atiprabal aur chanchal man ko vivek dvara nigrah (vashibhoot) nahian kiya ja sakata hai, balki aisa dekhakar vishayasakt man hi vivek ko gras bana leta hai..33..

chanchalan hi manah krishn pramathi balavaddridhamh.
tasyahan nigrahan manye vayoriv sudushkaramh॥34॥
he krishn! chooanki man chanchal (asthir), uchchhriankhal, hathila tatha atyant balavan hai, atah mujhe ise vash mean karana vayu ko vash mean karane se bhi adhik kathin lagata hai.

bhavanuvad- kathopanishad[1]mean kathit hai-‘atmanan rathinan viddhi, shariran rathamev ch’ arthath atma ko rathi aur sharir ko rath samajho. shruti mean kaha gaya hai ki panditagan sharir ko rath, indriyoan ko bhishan ashvasamooh, man ko indriyoan ka eesh athava karta, shabd-roop-ras-sparsh-gandhadi matraoan ko path evan buddhi ko sarathi kahate haian. in vakyoan ke dvara yah pratit hota hai ki buddhi man ko niyantrit karane vali hai. parantu arjun isaka khandan karate hue kahate haian ki pramathi man buddhi ko bhi bhalibhaanti math deta hai, yadi kaho ki kaise, to kahate haian-jis prakar balavanh rog rog se chhutakara dilane vali aushadhi ko grahan nahian karata hai, usi prakar svabhavatah balishth man vivekavati buddhi ko bhi grahan nahian karata hai. aur bhi kahate haian-man ati dridh hai. jaise ki chhoti suee ke dvara lohe ko sahajata se nahian bheda ja sakata hai, vaise hi atisookshm buddhi bhi man ko sahaj hi nahian bhed sakati hai. yah man vayu ke saman hai arthath gagan mean pravahaman vayu ke nigrah ke saman kumbhak adi ashtaangayog ke dvara man ko bhi nigrah mere lie atyant dushkar hai..34..
