agni, jyoti, din, shuklapaksh, uttarayan-yah ek kal hai aur dhoom, ratri, krishnapaksh aur dakshinayan usake viruddh doosara kal hai. pahale marg se brahm ke janane vale brahm ko prapt hote haian; par doosare marg se yogi log chandramasan jyotiah ko prapt hokar phir se manushyalok mean janm lete haian. ye shukl aur krishn marg hai, upanishadoan mean inhaian devayan (devataoan ka marg) aur pitriyan ( pitaroan ka marg) kaha gaya hai; jo yogi in margoan ko janata hai vah bhram mean nahian p data. shukl-krishn gati ki dharana[1] ke pichhe chahe jo manas- bhautik saty ho ya yah saty ko lakshit karane vala sanketamatr ho-isamean sandeh nahian ki yah dharana un rahasyavidoan ke yug se chali ayi hai jo pratyek bhautik padarth ko kisi-n-kisi manomay vastu ke pratik ke roop mean dekha karate the aur jo har jagah bahy or abhyaantar, prakash aur jnan, agni-tattv aur adhyatmik oorja ke bich paraspar vyavahar tatha ek prakar ke abhed ki hi khoj kiya karate the-yah jo kuchh ho-hamean to usi mo d ko dekhana hai jisase gita in shlokoan ka upasanhar karati haian vah hai ‘‘atev, sab sayam yogayukt raho-tasmath sarveshu kaleshu yogyukto bhav.”[2]kyoanki vahi asali bat hai, sanpoorn satta se bhagavanh ke sath yukt hona, itani poornata ke sath aur is tarah samast bhavoan se yukt ho jana ki yah yog svabhavik aur anavachchhinn ho jaye aur sanpoorn jivan, keval vichar aur dhyan nahian balki karm shram, yuddh sab kuchh bhagavanh ka hi smaran ban jaye. mera smaran karate chalo aur yuddh karo ”, isaka arth hi yah hai ki is saansarik sangharsh mean jisamean samanyatah hamare man doobe rahate haian, -ek kshan ke liye bhi bhagavanh ka smaran n chhoote ; aur yah ek aisi bat hai jo bahut hi kathin, prayah asanbhav hi pratit hoti hai. yah sarvatha sanbhav tabhi hoti hai jab isake sath any sharte bhi poori hoan .
