62.dhyayato vishayanpusah sangasteshoopajayate .
sangatsanjayate kamah kamatkrodhoabhijayate॥

jab koee manushy apane man mean indriyoan ke vishayoan ka dhyan karane lagata hai, to usake man mean unake prati anurag paida ho jata hai. anurag se ichchha utpann hoti hai aur ichchha se krodh utpann hota hai. kam: ichchha. ichchhaean utani hi adamy siddh ho sakati haian, jitani ki b di se b di shaktishali bahy shaktiyaan. ve hamean oopar uthakar yashasvi bana sakati haian ya phir kalank ke gart mean bhi dhakel sakati haian.

63.krodhaddhavati sammohah sammohatsmritivibhramah .
smritibhranshadbuddhinasho buddhinashatpranashyati ॥

krodh se moodhata utpann hoti hai. moodhata se smriti nasht ho jati hai. smriti ke nasht hone se buddhi ka nash ho jata hai; aur buddhi ke nash se vyakti hi nasht ho jata hai. buddhinash: buddhi ka nasht ho jana. yah achchhe aur bure ke bich bhed kar pane ki asamarthata hai. jab atma vasana ke vashibhoot ho jati hai, tab usaki smriti lupt ho jati hai; usaki buddhi malin ho jati hai aur manushy nasht ho jata hai. jis vastu ki avashyakata hai, vah sansar se balapoorvak prithakh ho jana ya aindriy jivan ka vinash nahian hai, apitu antarmukhi pratyavartan hai. indriyoan se ghrina karana utana hi galat hai, jitana unase prem karana. indriyoan ke gho doan ko rath mean se kholakar alag nahian kar dena hai, apitu man ki rasoan dvara unhean vash mean rakhana hai.

64.ragadveshaviyuktaistu vishayanindriyaishcharanh .
atmavashyairvidheyatma prasadamadhigachchhati ॥

parantu anushasit man vala manushy, jo apani indriyoan ko vash mean rakhe hue, rag aur dvesh (lagav aur virakti) se mukt rahakar indriyoan ke vishayoan mean vicharan karata hai, vah atma ki pavitrata ko prapt kar leta hai. dekhie,5,8. sthit-prajn ka koee svarthapoorn prayojan ya vyaktigat akaanksha nahian hoti. vah bahy vastuoan ke sparshaan se kshubdh nahian hota. jo bhi kuchh ghatit hota hai, use vah bina asakti ya virakti ke svikar kar leta hai. vah kisi vastu ki spriha nahian karata. vah kisi ke prati eershh‍yalu nahian hota. usaki koee lalasa nahian hoti aur koee maang hi hoti hai.[1]
