usi saankhh‍yanishh‍tha ke adhar par shrikrishh‍n ne pratham ‘esha teabhihita buddhi:’[1] tak upadesh kiya hai; aur phir adhh‍yay ke anh‍t tak karmayog-marg ke anusar arjun ko yahi batalaya hai, ki yuddh hi tera sachh‍cha kartavh‍y hai. yadi ‘esha teabhihita saankhh‍ye' sarikhashh‍lok "ashochh‍yananh‍vashochash‍th‍van’’ shh‍lok ke pahale ata, to yahi arth aur bhi adhik vh‍yakh‍t ho gaya hota. paranh‍tu samh‍bhashan ke pravah mean, saankhh‍y marg ka pratipadan ho jane par, vah is roop mean aya hai-‘’yah to saankhh‍y-marg ka pratipadan hua; ab yogamarg ke anusar pratipadan karata hooan. ‘’kuchh bhi ho, paranh‍tu arth ekahi hai. hamane gh‍yarahavean prakaran mean saankhh‍y ( ya sannh‍yas ) aur yog (ya karmayog ) ka bhed pahale hi sh‍pashh‍t karake batala diya hai. isaliye usaki punaravritti n kar keval itana hi kahe dete haian, ki chitt ki shuddhata ke liye sh‍vadharmanusar varnashramavihit karm karake jnan-prapti hone par moksh ke liye anh‍t mean sab karmoan ko chho d sanh‍yas lena saankhh‍y marg hai; aur karmoan ka th‍yag n kar anh‍t tak unh‍hean nishh‍kam-buddhi se karate rahana yog athava karmayog hai. arjun se bhagavanh pratham yah kahate haian, ki saankhh‍y marg ke adhh‍yath‍majnananusar ath‍ma avinashi aur amar hai, isaliye teri yah samajh galat hai ki ‘’ maian bhishh‍m dron adi ko marooanga;‘’ kh‍yoanki n to ath‍ma marata hai aur n marata hi hai jis prakar manushh‍y apane vash‍tr badalata hai, usi prakar ath‍ma ek deh ko chho dakar doosari deh mean chala jata hai; paranh‍tu isaliye use mrit manakar shok karana uchit nahian.

achh‍chha; man liya ki ‘’maian marooanga‘’ yah bhram hai, tab too kahega ki yuddh hi kh‍yoan karana chahiye? to isaka uttar yah hai, ki shash‍trat: praph‍t hue yuddh se paravrith‍t n hona hi kshatriyoan ka dharm hai; aur jabaki is saankhh‍yamarg mean prathamat: varnashram-vihit karm karana hi shreyash‍kar mana jata hai, tab yadi too vaisa n karega to log teri ninh‍da kareange-adhik kh‍ya kahean, yuddh mean marana hi kshatriyoan ka dharm hai. phir vh‍yarth shok kh‍yoan karata hai? ‘maian marooanga aur vah marega’ yah keval karm-drishti hai- ise chho d de; too apana pravah-patit kary aisi buddhi se karata chala ja ki maian keval apana sh‍vadharm kar raha hooan; isase tujhe kuchh bhi pap nahian lagega. yah upadesh saankhh‍yamarganusar hua. paranh‍tu chitt ki shuddhata ke liye prathamat: karm karake chitt-shuddhi ho jane par anh‍t mean sab karmoan ko chho d sannh‍yas lena hi yadi is marg ke anusar shreshh‍th mana jata hai, to yah shak hi jati hai ki uparati hote hi yuddh ko chho d ( yadi ho sake to ) sannh‍yas le lena kh‍ya achh‍chha nahian hai?
