jaimini ki mimaansa, ya upanishad ya vedanh‍t sootr ko dekhean to maloom hog, ki unamean shraut-yajn-yag adi ki athava karmasannh‍yas poorvak ‘neti neti’ sh‍varoopi parabrahm ki hi charcha bhari p di hai; aur ant mean yahi nirnay kiya hai, ki sh‍vargaprapti ke liye sadhanibhoot hone vale shraut-yajn-yagadik karm karane ka athava moksh-prapti ke liye avashh‍yak upanishadadi vedadhh‍yayan karane ka adhikar bhi pahale tin hi varnoan ke purushoan ko hai[1]. in grannh‍thoan mean is bat ka vichar nahian kiya gaya hai, ki ukh‍t tin varnoan ko striyoan ko athava chartuvanary ke anusar sare samaj ke hit ke liye kheti ya any vyavasay karane vale sadharan sh‍tri purushoan ko moksh kaise mile. achh‍chha; sh‍tri-shoodradikoan ke sath vedoan ki aisi anaban hone se yadi yah kaha jay, ki unh‍hean mukti kabhi mil hi nahian to upanishadoan aur puranoan mean hi aise varnan paye jate haian ki gargi prabhriti striyoan ko aur vidur prabhriti shoodro ko jnan ki prapti hokar siddhi mil gee thi[2]. aisi dasha me yah siddhanh‍t nahian kiya ja sakata ki pahale sirph tin varno ke purushoan hi ko mukti milati hai, to ab batalana chahiye ki unh‍hean kis sadhan se jnan ki prapti hogi. badarayanachary kahate haian ki ‘’ visheshanugrahashh‍ch ‘’[3]arthath parameshh‍var ka vishesh anugrah hi unake liye ek sadhan hai; aur bhagavat[4] mean kaha hai ki karmapradhan-‘bhakti-marg ke roop mean isi visheshanugrahath‍mak sadhan ka ‘’mahabharat mean aur atev gita mean bhi niroopan kiya gaya hai kh‍yoanki striyoan, shoodroan ya ( kaliyug ke ) namadhari brahmanoan ke kanoan tak shruti ki avaj nahian pahuanchati hai.‘’

is marg se praph‍t hone vala jnan aur upanishadoan ka brahmajnan–donoan yadyapi ekahi se hoan; tathapi ab sh‍tri purush samh‍banh‍dhi ya brahman kshatriy-vaishh‍y shoodr samh‍banh‍dhi koee bhed shesh nahian rahata hai is marg ke vishesh gun ke bare bare mean gita kahati hai ki

maan hi parth vh‍yapashrith‍y yeapi sh‍yu: papayonay:.
striyo vaishh‍yash‍tatha shoodrash‍teapi yaanti paraan gatimh..

‘’he parth! sh‍tri, vaishh‍y aur shoodr, ya anh‍th‍yaj adi jo nich vansh mean uth‍panh‍n hue haian, ve bhi sab uttam gati pa jate haian ‘’[5]. yahi shh‍lok mahabharat ke anugitaparv mean bhi aya hai [6]; aur aisi kathaean bhi haian, ki vanaparvanh‍targat brahman-vh‍yadh samh‍vad mean maans bechanevale bh‍yadh ne kisi brahman ko tatha shaannti parv mean tuladhar arthath baniye ne jajali namak tapash‍vi brahman ki yah niroopan sunaya hai, ki sh‍vadharm ke anusar nishh‍kamabuddhi se acharan karane se hi moksh kaise mil jata he[7].
