achchha; ab yadi amritattv ko mithya kahean, to manushyoan ko yah svabhavik ichchha dekh p dati hai, ki ve kisi raja se milane vale puraskar ya paritoshik ka upabhog n keval apane liye varanh apane putr-pautradi ke bhi liye-arthath chirakal ke liye-karana chahate haian; athava yah bhi dekhate haian ki chirakal rahane vali ya shashvat kirti pane ka jab avasar ata hai, tab manushy apane jivan ki bhi parava nahian karata. rrigved ke saman atyant prachin granthoan mean bhi poorv rrishiyoan ki yahi prarthana hai, ki ‘‘ he indr! too hamean ‘ajnit bhav’ arthath akshay kirti ya dhan de” [1], athava ‘‘ he som! tu mujhe vaivasvat ( yam ) lok mean amar kar de ‘‘[2]. aur, arvachin samay mean isi drishti ko svikar kar spensar, kont prabhriti keval adhibhautik pandit bhi yahi kahate haian, ki ‘‘is sansar mean manushy matr ka naitik param kartavy yahi hai, ki vah kisi prakar ke kshanik svarthi sukh mean n phans kar vartaman aur bhavishyath manushy jati ke chirakalik sukh ke liye udyog kare.“ apane jivan ke pashchath chirakalik kalyan ki arthath amritattv ki yah kalpana aee kahaan se ? yadi kahean ki yah svabhav-siddh hai, to manana p dega ki is nashavan deh ke siva aur koee amrit vastu avashy hai. aur yadi kahean ki aisi amrit vastu koee nahian hai; to hamean jis manovriti ki sakshath pratiti hoti hai, usaka any koee karan bhi nahian batalate ban p data!

aisi kathinaee a p dane par kuchh adhibhautik pandit yah upadesh karate haian, ki in prashnoan ka kabhi samadhan-karak uttar nahian mil sakata, atev inaka vichar n karake drishy srishti ke padarthoan ke gun-dharm ke pare apane man ki dau d kabhi n jane do. yah upadesh hai to saral; parantu manushh‍y ke man mean tattv jnan ki jo svabhavik lalasa hoti hai usaka pratibandh kaun aur kis prakar se kar sakata hai? aur is durdhar jijnasa ka yadi nash kar dalean to phir jnan ki vriddhi ho kaise ? jab se manushy is prithvital par utpann hua hai, tabhi se vah is prashn ka vichar karata chala aya hai ki, ‘‘ sari drishy aur nashavanh srishti ka moolabhoot amrit tattv kya hai, aur vah mujhe kaise prapt hoga? ‘‘adhibhautik shastroan ki chahe jaisi unnati ho, tathapi manushy ki amrit-tattv sambandhi jnan ki svabhavik pravriti kabhi kam hone ki nahian. adhibhautikashastroan ki chahe jaisi vriddhi ho, to bhi sare adhibhautik srishti-vijnan ko bagal mean daba kar adhyatmik tattv jnan sada usake age hi dau data rahega! do char hajar varsh ke pahale yahi dasha thi, aur ab pashchimi deshoan mean bhi vahi bat dekh p dati hai. aur to kya, manushy ki buddhi ki yah jnan-lalasa jis din chhootegi us din usake vishay mean yahi kahana hoga ki ‘‘s vai muktoathava pashuah” dikkal se amaryadit, amrit, anadi, svatantr, ek, nirantar, sarvavyapi aur nirgun tattv ke astitv ke vishay mean athava us nirgun tattv se sagun-srishti ki uth‍patti ke vishay mean jaisa vyakhyan hamare prachin upanishadoan mean kiya gaya hai usase adhik sayuktik vyakhyan any deshoan ke tattvajnoan ne ab tak nahian kiya hai.
