dehi nityamavadhyoayan dehe sarvasy bharat .
tasmatsarvani bhootani n tvan shochitumarhasi ॥30॥

he bharatavanshodbhav arjun! sab ke deh mean yah dehi nity hi avadhy hai. isaliye sampoorn praniyoan ke niye arthat kisi bhi prani ke liye tumhean shok nahian karana chahiye.

vyakhya- pranimatr paramatma aansh hai-‘mamaivaansho jivalo ke’[1]‘eesvar aans jiv abinasi’[2]. paramatma ka aansh hone ke nate isaka kabhi nash hua hi nahian, kabhi nash hoga hi nahian, kabhi nash ho sakata hi nahian. avinashitv, jnan aur anand shariri ke gun nahian haian, pratyut svaroop hai.

sharir keval karm karane ka tatha us ka phal bhogane ka upakaran hai. atah sharir ka sambandh nashavanh sansar ke sath hai; kyoanki yah sansar ka hi aansh haian. vyakaran ki drishti se dekhean to matuph, ini adi pratyay chhah arthoan mean prayukt hote haian.

bhoomanindaprashansasu nityogeatishayane. sansargeastivivakshayaan bhavanti matubadayah..

‘astivivaksha mean jo matuph adi pratyay hote haian, ve sab bahutv, ninda, prashansa, nityog, atishay aur sansarg-in chhah vishayoan mean hi hote haian.’

yahaan jivatma ke liye ‘ninda’ arth mean ‘ini’ pratyay kiya gaya hai, jisase ‘dehi’, ‘shariri’ adi shabd banate haian karan ki jis chinmay evan avinashi satta (atma) ka j d evan nashavanh sharir ya deh se kianchinmatr bhi koee sambandh hai hi nahian, usi shariri ya dehi kahana vastav mean usaki ninda hi hai. udaharanarth, jis manushy ko kodh hai, use kodhi kahana vastav mean usaki ninda hai; kyoanki kodh usaka svaroop nahian hai, pratyut agantuk dosh hai. isi tarah sharir utpann aur nasht hone vala hai- ‘antavant imean dehaah’[3], par atma utpann aur nasht hone vala nahian hai-‘dehi nityamavadhyoayamh’[4], ‘n hanyate hanyamane sharire’[5], ‘n hanyate hanyamane sharire’[6]. jab sharir hi nahian rahega to phir shariri kaise rahega? kodhi ko to kodh kharab dikhata hai, par jiv ko ajnanavash sharir kharab n dikhakar ulte badhiya dikhata hai! tatpary yah hua ki bhagavan ne kripa poorvak ajnani manushyoan ko samajhane ke liye hi jivatma (chetan-tattv) ko shariri aur dehi kaha hai. vastav mean jivatm shariri athava dehi nahian hai.
