ishtadev ki upasana
shastr rahasy ko janane vale mahanubhavoan ka kahana hai ki shaivagranthoan mean shrivishnu ki aur vaishnavagranthoan mean shrishiv ki jo ninda payi jati hai, vahaan is ninda ka mukhy tatpary any devata ki ninda mean nahian hai, apitu vah granth jis devata ka varnan kar raha hai usaki prashansa mean hai. is par koee kahe ki apane isht devata me ananyata ki prapti ke lie unase bhinn devata ki upeksha apekshit hai aur vah upeksha bina any devata ki ninda ke kaise siddh ho sakati hai? is tarah us ninda ka mukhy tatpary apane isht devata se any devata ki upeksha ke lie usaki ninda mean hi ho sakata hai. kintu aisa kahana thik nahian, kyoanki usane ananyata ke svaroop ko hi yatharthataya samajha nahian hai. kya apane ek matr ishtadev mean hi tatparata ko ananyata kahean? kintu aisi ananyata khan-pan adi laukik evan sandhyavandanadi vaidik vyavahar karane vale purush mean sambhav nahian hai. yadi kaha jay ki un laukik-vaidik sab karmo ke dvara apane ishtadev ki hi upasana karane se ananyata ban jayegi, to phir jaise anyany laukik-vaidik karmoan ke dvara apane ishtadev ki upasana ki ja sakati hai, vaise hi any devata ki pooja adi ke dvara bhi ishtadev ki upasana karate hue ananyata ban sakati hai. yatharth mean to-
arthat ‘he arjun! bhojan, hom, dan, tapasya adi jo kuchh bhi karo; vah sab mujhe arpan kar do.’ arthat ‘manushy apane karmoan ke dvara bhagavan ki pooja karake mukti ko prapt kar sakata hai. |
