is shrimadbhagavat ki vhyavashtha ko dekhate hue shriradha ko prakriti, maya, shakti ya jiv kahana athyanht anuchit hai. athma shabhd ki vhyakhhya samasht vedanhtoan mean prasiddh hai. sootrakar ne kisi gaun arth mean bhi mana ya prakriti adi ke liye athma shabhd ka prayog hona samhbhav nahian mana hai. ‘gaun[1] shhchenhnathmashabhdath’[2]
athma ka lakshan brahadaranhyak ke maitreyi brahman mean is prakar kiya hai ‘.......n va sarvashy kamay sarvan priyan bhavati .. athmanashtu kamay sarvan priyan bhavati’.. jo kuchh bhi putr, mitr, ghar, shtri adi priy hote haian, ve sab in vashtuoan ke karan priy nahian hote, kinhtu athma ke arth hi priy hote haian arthat jisamean priyathv ka atishay hai, jisaki kianchit-si jhalakamatr se aur sab vashtu priy hoti haian, us hriday ke hit ko athma kahate haian.
‘tadetathpreyo– ‘ithyadi. jo yah athma hai so sabase priy hai. putr se, mitr se, dhan se aur jo kuchh bhi hai us sabase athyanht priy athma hi hai. isaliye athma hi dekhane yoghy, shravan karane yoghy, manan karane yoghy aur sakshat karane yoghy hai.
is samhpoorn vishhv ke athma shrikrishhn haian aur un shrikrishhn ki athma shriradha haian. jo log shrikrishhn ko brahm aur shriradha ko brahm se itar koee doosara tathv kalhpana karate haian, unhhoanne brahm-tathv ko yatharth nahian samajha. koee-koee to yahaan tak bhoolate haian ki ve shrikrishhn ko bhi brahm nahian kahakar ek sarvagun rahit nirvishesh sathtamatr brahm ki kalhpana karate haian. vedanht sootroan mean sab upanishadoan ka achhchhi prakar vichar karake jo brahm ka shvaroop nirnay kiya hai, use ham ati sankshep mean yahaan likhate haian. is vishay ko vishtarapoorvak likhane ka is chhote se lekh mean avakash nahian hai. brahm ka lakshan taittiriy upanishad ki bhargavi-varuni vidya ke anusar yah hai ki ‘ananhdaddhyev khalu imani bhootani jayanhte’ ithyadi. arthat ananhd se hi sabaki uthpatti, ananhd mean hi sabaka jivan aur ananhd mean hi sabaka lay hota hai tatha moksh hone ke samay bhi sab ananhd mean lin ho jate haian. atev ananhd hi brahm hai, vahi ras hai, khyoanki is ras ko hi pakar yah ananhdi hota hai.
