ayukt: prakrit: stabdh: shatho naishkritikoalas: .
vishadi dirghasootri ch kartta tamas uchyate ॥28॥
jo karta ayukt, shiksha se rahit, ghamandi, dhoort aur doosaroan ki jivika ka nash karane vala tatha shok karane vala, alasi aur dirghasootri hai- vah tamas kaha jata hai ॥28॥

bhavanuvad- ‘ayukt’:’ ka tatpary rh- anuchit kary karane vala. ‘prakrit‘’ apane svabhav mean vidyaman. aise log vahi kary karate haian, jo inake man mean ata hai, yahaan tak ki guru ke vachanoan ko bhi nahian manate haian. ‘naishkritikah’- doosare ka apaman karane vala. atev jnaniyoan ke dvara ukt lakshan vala sattvik tyag hi karttavy hai, sattvik karmanishth jnan hi ashrayayogy hai. sattvik karm hi karttavy hai. sattvik kartta hona hi uchit hai, yahi jnaniyoan ka sannyas hai. yahi mere sambandh mean jnan hai. is prakaran ka yahi sararth hai. kintu, bhaktoan ka jo jnan hai, vah trigunatit hai, mere lie kiya gaya trigunatit karm bhakti kahalata hai aur vah kartta bhi trigunatit hota hai jaisa ki shrimadbhagavat[1] mean kaha hai- ‘‘kaivaly jnan sattvik hai, vaikalpik jnan rajas hai, prakrit jnan tamas hai aur mere prati nishtha vala jnan nirgun kaha jata hai.’’ ‘‘abhi nirgun bhakti yog ka lakshan kaha gaya.’’[2]‘‘anasakt kartta sattvik, asaktiyukt kartta rajasik, smriti-vibhrasht karta tamasik aur mere sharanagat kartta nirgun kartta kahalata hai.’’[3]aur bhakti ke mat se keval ye tin[4] hi nirgun haian- aisa nahian hai, balki bhakti-sambandhi sabhi gunatit haian. jaisa ki shrimadbhagavat[5]mean hi shraddha ke vishay mean kaha gaya hai- ‘‘ adhyatmiki shraddha sattivaki, karm ko prati shraddha rajasi, adharm ke prati shraddha tamasi hai, kintu meri seva ki prati jo shraddha hai, vah nirgun hai.’’ vas ke vishay mean kaha gaya hai- ‘‘van mean vas sattvik hai, gram mean vas rasik hai, dyoot grih[6] mean vas tamasik hai, kintu, mera niketan arthath poojagrih aur bhaktasang nirgun hai.’’ [7] sukh ke vishay mean kaha gaya hai- ‘‘atma se udit sukh sattvik hai, vishay mean utpann se sukhas rajasik hai, moh-dainy se utpann sukh tamasik hai aur meri sharan lene se jo sukh prapt hota hai, vah nirgun hai.’’ [8] atev isi prakar gunatit bhaktoan ke bhakti-sambandhi jnan, karm, shraddha adi mean nijasukh-sabhi gunatit haian. sattvik jnaniyoan ke jnan-sambandhi sabhi kuchh sattvik haian rajasik karmiyoan ke sabhi kuchh rajasik haian, tamasik uchchhriankhal vyaktiyoan se sambadhint sabhi kuchh tamasik haian- yahi shrigita aur shrimadbhagavat se jana jata hai. chaudahavean adhyay mean yah bhi kaha gaya hai ki jnaniyoan ko bhi antim dasha mean jnan mean jnan ke sannyas se urvarita kevala bhakti ke dvara hi gunatitattv ki upalabdhi hoti hai..28..

sararth varshini prakashika vritti-

shrimadbhagavat mean sattvik adi ke bhed se karta bhi tin prakar ka bataya gaya hai-

‘sattvikah karakoasangi ragandho rajasah smritah.
tamasah smritivibhrashto nirguno madapashrayah..’[9]

arthat anasakt kartta sattvik, karm aur karmaphal mean atyant asakt kartta rajasik, vivekashoony karta tamasik tatha mere sharanagat bhakt nirgun hote haian..28..
