esha brahmi sthiti: parth nainaan prapy vimuhyati .
sthitvasyamantakaleapi brahmanirvanamrichchhati ॥72॥

iti shrimadgagavadgitasu upanishatsu brahmavidyayaan yogashastre shrikrishnarjun- sanvade saankhyayogo nam dvitiyoadhyay: ॥2॥

(72) he parth! brahmi sthiti yahi hai. ise pa jane par koee bhi moh mean nahian phansata; aur aantakal mean arthat marane ke samay mean bhi is sthiti mean rah kar brahmanirvan arthat brahm mean mil jane ke svaroop ka moksh pata hai. tilak ke anusar-[yah brahmi sthiti karmayog ki aantim aur atyuttam sthiti hai[1]; aur isamean visheshata yah hai ki, isake prapt ho jane se phir moh nahian hota. yahaan par is visheshata ke batalane ka kuchh karan hai. vah yah ki yadi kisi din daivayog se gh di-do gh di ke liye is brahmi sthiti ka anubhav ho sake, to usase kuchh chirakalik labh nahian hota. kyoanki kisi bhi manushy ki yadi marate samay yah sthiti n rahegi, to maran-kal mean jaisi vasana rahegi usi ke anusar punarjanm hoga[2]. yahi karan hai jo brahmi sthiti ka varnan karate hue is shlok mean spashtataya kah diya hai ki ‘aantakaleapi’=aantakal mean bhi sthitaprajn ki yah avastha sthir bani rahati hai.

aantakal mean man ke shuddh rahane ki vishesh avashyakata ka varnan upanishadoan mean[3] aur gita mean bhi [4] hai. yah vasanatmak karm agale anek janmoan ke milane ka karan hai, isaliye pragat hi hai ki aantat: marane ke samay to vasana shoony ho jani chahiye. aur phir yah bhi kahana p data hai ki maran-samay mean vasana shoony hone ke liye pahale se hi vaisa abhyas ho jana chahiye. kyoanki vasana ko shoony karane ka karm atyant kathin hai, aur bina eeshvar ki vishesh kripa ke usaka kisi ko bhi prapt ho jana n keval kathin hai, varanh asambhav bhi hai. yah tattv vaidikadharm mean hi nahian hai, ki maran samay mean vasana shuddh honi chahiye; kiantu anyany dharmoan mean bhi yah tattv aangikrit hua hai[5].] is prakar shribhagavan ke gaye hue arthat kahe hue upanishad mean, brahmavidyantargat yog–arthat karmayog–shastravishayak, shrikrishn aur arjun ke sanvad mean, saankhyayog namak doosara adhyay samapt hua. tilak ke anusar-[is adhyay mean, arambh mean saankhy athava sannyasamarg ka vivechan hai, is karan isako saankhyayog nam diya gaya hai. parantu isase yah n samajh lena chahiye ki poore adhyay mean vahi vishay hai. ek hi adhyay mean pray: anek vishayoan ka varnan hota hai. jis adhyay mean, jo vishay arambh mean a gaya hai, athava jo vishay usamean pramukh hai, usi ke anusar us adhyay ka nam rakh diya jata hai[6].]
