sarvadharmanh parith‍yajh‍y mamekan sharanan braj.
ahan th‍va sarvapapabhayaan mokshayishh‍yami ma shuch:..[1][2]

abatak adhh‍yath‍madrishti se in batoan ka vichar kiya gaya ki sarvabhootath‍maikh‍yaroopi nishh‍kam-buddhi hi karmayog ki aur moksh ki bhi j d hai, yah shuddh-buddhi brahmath‍maikh‍y-jnan se praph‍t hoti hai, aur isi shuddh-buddhi se prath‍yek manushh‍y ko apane janh‍m bhar sh‍vadharmanusar praph‍t hue karth‍tavh‍yoan ka palan karana chahiye. paranh‍tu itane hi se bhagavadgita mean pratipadit vishay ka vivechan poora nahian hota. yadyapi isamean sanh‍deh nahian, ki brahmath‍maikh‍y–jnan hi keval sath‍y aur antim sadhh‍y hai, tatha ‘’usake saman is sansar mean doosari koee bhi vash‍tu pavitr nahian hai’’[3]; tathapi ab tak usake vishay mean jo vichar kiya gaya hai, vah sab buddhigamh‍y hai. isaliye samanh‍y janoan ki shanka hai, ki us vishay ko poori tarah se samajhane ke liye prath‍yek manushh‍y ki buddhi itani tivr kaise ho sakati hai; aur yadi kisi manushh‍y ki buddhi tivr n ho, to kh‍ya usako brahmath‍maikh‍y jnan se hath dho baithana chahiye?

sach kaha jay to yah shanka bhi kuchh anuchit nahi dekh p dati. yadi koee kahe-‘’jabaki b de-b de jnani purush bhi vinashi nam-roopath‍mak maya se achh‍chhadit tumh‍hare us amritash‍varoopi parabrahm ka varnan karate samay ‘neti neti’ kah kar chup ho jate haian, tab hamare saman sadharan janoan ki samajh mean vah kaise ave? isaliye hamean koee aisa saral upay ya marg batalao jisase tumh‍hara vah gahan brahmajnan hamari alh‍p grahan shakti se samajh mean a jave;’’-to isamean usaka kh‍ya dosh hai? gita aur kathopanishad[4] mean kaha hai, ki ashh‍chary-chakit ho kar ath‍ma (brahm) ka varnan karane vale tatha sunanevale bahut haian, to bhi vah kisi ki samajh mean nahian ata. shruti granh‍thoan mean is vishay par ek bodhadayak katha bhi hai. usamean yah varnan hai, ki jab bashh‍kali ne bahri se kaha‘ he maharaj! mujhe kripa kar batalaiye ki brahm kise kahate haian’, tab bahri kuchh bhi nahian bole. bashh‍kali ne phir vahi prashh‍n kiya, to bhi bahri chup hi rahe! jab aisa hi char paanch bar hua tab bahri ne vashh‍kali se kaha ‘’are! maian tere prashh‍noan ka uth‍tar tabhi se de raha hooan, paranh‍tu teri samajh mean nahian aya- maian kh‍ya karooan? brahmash‍varoop kisi prakar batalaya nahian ja sakata; isaliye shanh‍t rahana arthath chup rahana hi sachh‍cha brahm lakshan hai! samajha?‘’[5].
