adhh‍yath‍mashash‍tr ke is siddhanh‍t par dhh‍yan dene se dekh p data hai, ki karmoan ko du:khamay man kar unake th‍yagane ki avashh‍yakata hi nahian rahati; keval man ko shuddh aur sam karake phalasha chho d dene se hi sab kam ho jate haian. tath‍pary yah ki, yadhapi jnan aur kamh‍y karm ka virodh ho, tathapi nishh‍kam-karm aur jnan ke bich koee bhi virodh ho nahi sakata. isi se anugita mean ‘’ th‍samath‍karm n kurvanti ‘’ –atev karm nahi karate – is vakh‍y ke badale, tash‍mash‍karmasu ni:sh‍neha ye kechish‍paradarshin:. ‘’ isase paradarshi purush karm mean asakti nahian rakhate ‘’[1], yah vakh‍y aya hai. isake pahale, karmayog ko sh‍pashh‍t pratipadan kiya gaya hai, jaise–

kurvate ye tu karmani shraddadhana vi‍pashchit:.
anashiryogasanyukh‍tash‍te dhira: sadhudarshin:..

arthat ‘’ jo jnani purush shraddha se, phalasha n rakh kar, ( karm ) yogamarg ka avalamh‍b karake, karm karate haian, ve hi sadhudarshi haian ‘’[2]. isi prakar yadidan vedavachanan kuru karm th‍yajeti ch. is poorvardh mean ju da hua hi, vanaparv mean yudhishthir ko shaunak ka, yah upadesh hai –

tash‍maddharmanimanh sarvanh‍nabhimanath‌ samachareth.

arthat ‘’ ved mean karm karane aur chho dane ki bhi ajna hai; isaliye ( kartritv ka ) abhiman chho d kar hamean apane sab karm karana chahiye ‘’[3]. shukanuprashh‍n mean bhi vh‍yasaji ne shukr se do bar sh‍pashh‍t kaha hai ki:-

esha poorvatara vritirbrahmanash‍y vidhiyate.
jnanavanev karmani kurvanh sarvatr sidhh‍yati..

‘’ brahman ki poorv ki, purani ( poorvatar ) vritti yahi hai ki jnanavan ho kar, sab kam karake hi, siddhi praph‍t karean ‘’[4]. yah bhi pragat hai, ki yahaan ‘’ jnanavanev ‘’ pad se jnanottar aur jnanayukh‍t karm hi vi‍vakshit hai. ab donoan pakshoan ke ukh‍t sab vachanoan ka niragrah buddhi se vichar kiya jay to, maloom hoga ki ‘’ karmana badhh‍yate jantu:’’ is dalil se sirph karmath‍yag-vishayak yah ek hi anuman nishh‍panh‍n nahian hota ki ‘’ tash‍math‍karm n kurvanti ‘’ ( isase kam nahian karate ) ; kinh‍tu usi dalil se yah nishh‍kam karm-yog-vishayak doosara anuman bhi utani hi yogh‍yata ka siddh hota hai, ki ‘’ tash‍math‍karmasu ni:sh‍neha:- isase karm mean asakti nahian rakhate. sirph ham hi is prakar ke do anuman nahian karate, balki vh‍yasaji ne bhi yahi arth shukanuprashh‍n ke nimh‍n shlok me sh‍pashtataya batalaya hai–

dvavimavath panh‍thanau yasminh veda: pratishthita:.

pravrittilakshano dharm: nivritishch vibhashit:..[5] ‘’ in donoan margoan ko vedoan ka ( ek sa ) adhar hai– ek pravritivishayak dharm ka aur doosara nivriti arthath sannh‍yas lene ka hai ‘’[6].
