tatraivan sati kartaramatmanan kevalan tu y: .

is prakar he kirtishali arjun! paanch karanoan se utpann hone vale karmoan ke paanch hetu bhi hote haian aur inhian ki jhanjhatoan mean atma phans gayi hai. jaise soory bina kisi tarah ka roop dharan kiye aankhoan ko bhi tatha vastuoan ke roopoan ko bhi prakashit karata hai, thik vaise hi atma bhi svayan to karm nahian hoti, par phir bhi karmoan ko prakat karati rahati hai. he virashiromani! jaise darpan mean apana mukh dekhanevala svayan n to darpan hi hota hai aur n to apana pratibimb hi hota hai, par phir bhi vah un donoan ko prakashit karata hai athava soory jaise svayan aharnish ka anubhav n karane par bhi unhean utpann karata hai, thik vaise hi he pandusut! atma karm-karta n hone par bhi unhean prakat karati hai; parantu jis manushy ki buddhi dehabhiman ke bhram mean p de hone ke karan sada deh mean hi ulajhi rahati hai, usake liye atmajnan ke vishay mean ekamatr madhy ratri ka ghor andhakar hi rahata hai. jo log chaitany eeshvar athava brahm ko deh ki sima mean abaddh kar rakhate haian, unhean yah siddhant ekadam atal pratit hota hai ki atma hi karta hai; par yah bat bhi nahian hoti. unhean is bat ka bhi dridh nishchay nahian hota ki atma hi karm-karta hai.

apitu ve vastav mean yahi manate haian ki karm karane vala maian sharir hi hooan. isaka pramukh karan yahi hai ki vah kabhi aisi batean apane shravanendriyoan tak pahuanchane bhi nahian deta ki maian atma hooan aur maian ekamatr samast karmoan ka sakshi hooan. yahi karan hai ki vah asim atmatattv ko is deh se mapane ki cheshta karata hai; par isamean ashchary hi kya hai? ulook kya din ko hi ghor andhakar vali rat nahian bana leta? jisane akash mean vidyaman vastavik soory ko kabhi n dekha ho, vah gaddhe mean dikhayi dene vale soory ke pratibimb ko hi vastavik soory kyoan n man le? usake liye to jis samay tak jal se bhara hua gaddha rahata hai, us samay tak soory bhi rahata hai. yadi vah gaddha nahian raha to soory bhi nahian raha. keval yahi nahian, yadi us gaddhe ka jal hilane laga to vah samajh leta hai ki soory bhi hil-dul raha hai. soya hua vyakti jab tak nahian jagata, tab tak use svapn hi sachcha jan p data hai.
