shridharasvami ne bhi gita ki apani tika[1] mean gita ka aisa hi tatpary nikala hai. marathi bhasha mean, is sanpraday ka gita sanbandhi sarvottam granth 'jnaneshvari' hai. isamean kaha gaya hai ki gita ke pratham chhah adhyayoan mean karm, bich ke chhah adhyayoan mean bhakti aur aantim chhah adhyayoan mean jnan ka pratipadan kiya gaya hai; aur svayan jnaneshvar maharaj ne apane granth ke aant mean kaha hai ki maianne gita ki yah tika shankarachary ke bhashyanusar ki hai. parantu jnaneshvari ko is karan se ek bilakul svatantr granth hi manana chahiye ki isamean gita ka mool arth bahut badhakar anek saras drishtantoan se samajhaya gaya hai aur isamean vishesh karake bhaktimarg ka tatha kuchh aansh mean nishkam karm ka shrishankarachary [2] se bhi uttam, vivechan kiya gaya hai.

jnaneshvar maharaj svayan yogi the, isaliye gita ke chhathavean adhyay ke jis shank mean patanjal yogabhyas ka vishay aya hai usaki unhoanne vistrit tika ki hai. unaka kahana hai ki shrikrishn bhagavan ne is adhyay ke aant[3] mean arjun ko yah upadesh karake ki "tasmadyogibhavarjun" - isaliye he arjun! too yogi ho arthat yogabhyas mean pravin ho- apana yah abhipray pragat kiya hai ki sab moksh panthoan mean patanjal yog hi sarvottam hai aur isaliye apane use 'pantharaj' kaha hai. saraansh yah hai ki bhinn-bhinn saanpradayik bhashyakaroan aur tikakaroan ne gita ka arth apane apane matoan ke anukool hi nishchit kar liya hai.

pratyek sanpraday ka yahi kathan hai ki gita ka pravriti vishayak karm marg apradhan (gaun) hai arthat keval jnan ka sadhan hai; gita mean vahi tattvajnan paya jata hai. jo apane sanpraday mean svikrit hua hai; apane sanpraday mean moksh ki drishti se jo achar aantim kartavy mane gaye haian unhian ka varnan gita mean kiya gaya hai,- arthat mayavadatmak advait aur karm-sannyas, maya- satyatv- pratipadak vishishtadvait aur vasudev- bhakti, dvait aur vishnubhakti, shuddhadvait aur bhakti, shankaradvait aur bhakti, patajanl yog aur keval bhakti, keval yog ya keval brahmajnan (anek prakar ke nivriti vishayak moksh dharm) hi gita ke pradhan tatha pratipaday vishay hai [4]. hamara hi nahian, kintu prasiddh kavi vaman pandit ka bhi mat aisa hi hai. gita par apane 'yatharthadipika' namak vistrit marathi tika likhi hai. usake upodaghat mean ye pahale likhate haiah- "he bhagavan! sab logoan ne kisi n kisi bahane se gita ka manamana arth kiya hai, parantu in logoan ka kiya hua arth mujhe pasand nahian. bhagavan! maian kya karoo!"

anek saanpradayik tikakaroan ke mat ki is bhinnata ko dekhakar kuchh log kahate haian ki, jabaki ye sab moksh-sanpraday paraspar-virodhi haian aur jabaki is bat ka nishchay nahian kiya ja sakata ki inamean se koee ek hi sanpraday gita mean pratipadit kiya gaya hai; tab to yahi manana uchit hai ki in sab moksh-sadhanoan ka visheshatah karm, bhakti aur jnan ka varnan svatantr riti se, sankshep mean aur prithak-prithak karake bhagavan ne arjun ka samadhan kiya hai. kuchh log kahate haian ki moksh ke anek upayoan ka yah sab varnan prithak-prithak nahian hai, kintu in sab ki ekata hi gita mean siddh ki gee hai. aur, aant mean, kuchh log to yah bhi kahate haian ki gita mean pratipadit brahmavidya yadyapi mamooli dhang par dekhane se sulabh maloom hoti hai, tathapi usaka vastavik marm atyant goodh hai jo bina guru ke kisi ki bhi samajh mean nahian a sakata[5]- gita par bhale hi anek tikaean ho jayean, parantu usaka goodharth janane ke liye gurudiksha ke siva aur koee upay nahian hai. ab yah bat spasht hai ki gita ke anek prakar ke tatpary kahe gaye haian. pahale to svayan mahabharatakar ne bhagavat-dharmanusari arthat pravriti vishay tatpary batalaya hai. isake bad anek pandit, achary, kavi, yogi aur bhakt-janoan ne apane apane sanpraday ke anusar shuddh nivriti vishayak tatpary batalaya hai.
