us asamprajnat samadhi mean vishay-indriy-sampark-rahit, atmakarabuddhi-grahy atyantik (nity) sukh prapt hota hai. us vishuddh atmasukh mean sthit yogi ka chitt tattv se aur vichalit nahian hota hai. aisi avastha prapt n kar sakane par ashtaangayog se jiv ka kalyan nahian hota hai, kyoanki usamean vibhooti adi ke roop mean jo avantar phal haian, unamean chitt ke akarshit hone par yogi ka chitt samadhi sukh roop charam uddeshy se vichalit ho jata hai. in sabhi badhaoan ke karan yogasadhan ke samay anek amangal ghatit hone ka bhay rahata hai. kintu, bhaktiyog mean aisi ashanka nahian hai-ise bad mean bataya jaega. samadhi mean prapt sukh ki apeksha yogi any kisi sukh ka shreshth nahian manate haian arthath dehayatra nirvah ke samay vishayoan ke sath indriy-sansparsh dvara jo samast kshanik sukh utpann hote haian, unhean tuchchh sukh ke roop mean hi svikar karate haian evan durghatana, pi da, abhav aur mrityukal tak any gurutar duahkhoan ko sahan kar apane anveshaniy samadhi-sukh ka bhog karate haian, un samast duahkhoan se parichalit hokar param sukh ka tyag nahian karate haian. ve sochate haian- ye duahkh upasthit hue haian, parantu ye adhik samay tak nahian raheange, shighr hi chale jaeange. yogaphal prapt hone mean vilamb ho raha hai ya vyaghat hoga-aisi bat sochakar yogabhyas ka parityag nahian kareange arthath yogaphal ke prapt hone tak vishesh yatn se adhyavasay ka palan kareange.

yog ke vishay mean prathamik kary yah hai ki yam, niyam, asan, pranayam, siddhaphal evan sankalpajanit kamanaean sampoornaroop se doorakar man ke dvana indriyoan ko niyamit kareange. ‘dharanaroop’ aang se labdhabuddhi dvara kramashah vairagy ki shiksha kareange-isaka hi nam ‘pratyahar’ hai. dhyan, dharana aur pratyahar dvara man ko bhalibhaanti vashibhootakar ‘atmasamadhi’ kareange. us sthiti mean any kisi prakar ke vishayoan ki chinta nahian kareange evan dehayatra ke lie vishayadi ki chinta karane par bhi usamean asakt nahian hoveange-yahi upadisht hua, yahi yog ka antimakrity hai.”-shribhaktivinod thakur..20-25..
