bas, yahi doosari riti hai ki jisase karm-akarm, dharm-adharm, puny-pap adi ka vichar kiya jata hai. vyavaharik dharm ke ant ko is riti se dekh kar usake moolatattvoan ko dhooandh nikalana shastr ka kam hai, tatha us vishay ke keval niyamoan ko ekatr karake batalana achar-sangrah kahalata hai. karm-marg ka achar-sangrah smritigranthoan mean hai; aur usake achar ke moolatattvoan ka shastriy arthat tatvik vivechan bhagavadgita mean sanvad-paddhati se ya pauranik riti se kiya gaya hai. atev bhagavadgita ke pratipady vishay ko keval karmayog n kahakar karmayogashastr kahana hi adhik uchit tatha prashast hoga; aur, yahi yog-shastr shabd bhagavadgita ke adhyay-samapti-soochak sankalp mean aya hai. jin pashchimi panditoan ne paralaukik drishti ko tyag diya hai, ya jo log use gaun manate haian, ve gita mean pratipadit karmayogashastr ko hi bhinn bhinn laukik nam diya karate haian-jaise sadh‌vh‍yavahar, sadacharashastr, nitishastr, nitimimaansa, nitishastr ke moolattv, karttavyashastr, kary-akary-vyavasthiti, samajadharanashastr ityadi. in logoan ki nitimimaansa ki paddhati bhi laukik hi rahati hai; isi karan se aise pashh‍chaty panditoan ke granthoan ka jinhoanne avalokan kiya hai, unamean se bahutoan ki yah samajh ho jati hai, ki sanskrit-sahity mean sadacharan ya niti ke moolatattvoan ki charcha kisi ne nahian ki hai. ve kahane lagate haian, ki “hamare yahaan jo kuchh gahan tattvajnan hai, vah sirph hamara vedant hi hai.
