‘tadejati tannaijati tat doore tadvantike’ arthat vah hilata hai aur hilata bhi nahi; vah door hai aur samip bhi hai [1] ya ‘sarvendriyagunabhas’ ho kar bhi ‘sarvendriyavivarjit’ hai [2],. mrityu ne ‘nachiketa ko yah upadesh kiya hai, ki ant mean uparyukt sab lakshanoan ko chho d do aur jo dharm aur adharm ke, krit aur akrit ke, athava bhoot aur bhavy ke bhi pare hai use hi brahm jano [3]. isi prakar mahabharat ke narayaniy dharm mean brahma rudr se [4], aur mokshadharm mean narad shuk se kahate haian [5]. brihadaranayakopanishad [6] mean bhi prithvi, jal aur agni-in tinoan ko brahm ka moortaroop kaha hai; phir vayu tatha akash ko amoortaroop kah kar dikhaya hai, ki in amoortoan ke sarabhoot purushoan ke roop ya rang badal jate haian; aur ant mean yah upadesh kiya hai ki ‘neti’ ‘neti’ arthat ab tak jo kaha gaya hai, vah nahian hai, vah brahm nahian hai-in sab nam-roopath‍mak moort ya amoort padarthoan ke pare jo ‘agrihy’ ya ‘avarnaniy’ hai use hi parabrahm samajho[7].

adhik kya kahaian; jin jin padarthoan ko kuchh nam diya ja sakata hai un sab se bhi pare jo hai vahi brahm hai aur us brahm ka avyakt tatha nirgun sh‍varoop dikhalane ke liye ‘neti’ ‘neti’ ek chhota sa nirdesh, adesh ya sootr hi ho gaya hai. brihadaranayak upanishad mean hi usaka prayog char bar hua hai [8]. isi prakar doosare upanishadoan mean bhi parabrahm ke nirgun aur achinty roop ka varnan paya jata hai; jaise-‘‘yato vacho nivartante aprapy manasa sah’’ [9]; ‘‘adreshyan (adrishy ), agrahmi’’ [10]‘‘n chakshusha grihyate naapi vacha [11];

ashabdamasparshamaroopamavyayan tathaarasan nityamagandhavachch yat. anadyanantan mahatahparan dhruvan nichayh‍y tanmrityumukhatpramuchyate..

arthat vah parabrahm, panchamahabhootoan ke shabd, sparsh, roop, ras aur gandh-in paanch gunoan se rahit, anadi-anant aur avyay hai [12]. mahabharatantargat shantiparv mean narayaniy ya bhagavatadharm ke varnan mean bhi bhagavan ne narad ko apana sachcha svaroop ‘adshy, aghrey, asprishy, nirgun, nishkal (niravayav), aj, nity, shashvat aur nishkriy’ batala kar kaha hai ki vahi srishti ki uth‍patti tatha pralay karane vala trigunatit parameshvar hai, aur usi ko ‘vasudev paramatma’ kahate haian [13].

uparyukt vachanoan se yah pragat hoga, ki n keval bhagavadgita mean hi varanh mahabharatantargat narayaniy ya bhagavatadharm mean aur upanishadoan mean bhi paramatma ka avyakt sh‍varoop hi vyakt sh‍varoop se shreshth mana gaya hai, aur yahi avyakt shreshth sh‍varoop vahaan tin prakar se varnit hai arthat sagun, sagun-nirgun aur ant mean keval nirgun. ab prashn yah hai, ki avyakt aur shreshth sh‍varoop ke ukt tin paraspar-virodhi roopoan ka mel kis tarah milaya jave? yah kaha ja sakata hai, ki in tinoan mean se jo sagun-nirgun arthat ubhayatmak roop hai, vah sagun se nirgun mean ( athava ajney mean) jane ki sidhi ya sadhan hai.
