shariravannobhiryatkarm prarabhate nar: .
nyayyan va viparitan va panchaite tasy hetav: ॥15॥

manushy sharir, vani aur man ke dvara shastr vihit athava shastraviruddh jo kuchh bhi karm arambh karata hai, usake ye (poorvokt) paanchoan hetu hote haian.

tatraivan sati kartaramatmanan kevalan tu y: .
pashyatyakritabuddhitvann s pashyati durmati: ॥16॥

parantu aise paanch hetuoan ke hone par bhi jo us (karmoan ke) vishay mean keval (shuddh) atma ko karta dekhata hai, vah dusht buddhivala thik nahian dekhata; kyoanki usaki buddhi shuddh nahian hai arthath usane vivek ko mahattv nahian diya hai.

vyakhya- sab karakoan mean karta mukhy hai. karta mean chetan ki jhalak ati hai, any karakoan mean nahian. vastav mean ‘karta’ nam chetan ka nahian hai, pratyut chetanadvara j d se mane hue sambandh ka hai-‘ahankaravimoodhatma kartahamiti manyate’[1]. isaliye bhagavanh ne prastut shlok mean apane vastavik svaroop (chetan)-ko karta manane vale ki ninda ki hai. svaroop mean kartritav aur bhoktritv-donoan hi nahian haian[2]. mool mean ye nahian haian, tabhi inaka tyag hota hai.

vastav mean karta koee nahian hai. n chetan karta hai, n j d. yadi kisi karta manana hi p de to sadhak ke liye yahi uchit hai ki vah j d ko karta mane. gita mean bhagavanh ne karmoan ke hone mean paanch karan bataye haian-

1. prakriti[3],

2. gun[4]

3. indriyaan[5],

4. svabhav[6],

5. paanch hetu[7].

vastav mean karmoan ke hone mean mool karan ek ‘prakriti’ hi hai. atah kartritv prakriti mean hi hai, svaroop mean nahian.

sadhak khane-pine, sone-jagane adi laukik kriyaoan ko to vicharadvara prakriti mean hone vali sugamata se man sakata hai, par vah jap, dhyan, samadhi adi paramarthik kriyaoan ko apane dvara hone vali tatha apane liye manata hai to yah vastav mean sadhak ke liye badhak hai. karan ki jnanayog ki drishti se kriya chahe ooanchi-se-ooanchi ho athava nichi-se-nichi, vah ek jati ki (prakrit) hi hai. lathi ghumana aur mala pherana-donoan kriyaean alag-alag hone par bhi prakriti mean hi haian. tatpary hai ki khane-pine, sane-jagane adi se lekar jap, dhyan, samadhitak sampoorn laukik-paramarthik kriyaean prakriti mean hi ho rahi haian. prakriti ke sambandh ke bina koee kriya sambhav hi nahian hai. atah sadhak ko chahiye ki vah paramarthik kriyaoan ka tyag to n kare, par unamean apana kartattv n mane arthath unhean apane dvara hone vali tatha apane liye n mane. kriya chahe laukik ho, chahe paramarthik ho, usaka mahattv vastav mean j data ka hi mahattv hai. shastravihit hone ke karan paramarthik kriyaoan kanh antahkaran mean jo vishesh mahattv rahata hai, vah bhi j data ka hi mahattv hone se sadhak ke liye badhak hai. bhagavanh ke liye ki gayi upasana mean bhagavatkripa ki pradhanata hoti hai, isaliye isamean bhi sadhak ka kartritv nahian hai. paramarthik kriyaoan ka uddeshy paramatma hone se ve kalyanakarak ho jati hai. jyoan-jyoan kriya ki gaunata aur bhagavatsambandh ki mukhyata honepar varshoan tak sadhan karane par bhi labh nahian hota. atah kriya ka mahattv n hokar bhagavanh mean priyata honi chahiye. priyata hi bhajan hai, kriya nahian.
