sarveshaan dehinaan shraddha trividha bhavati; sa ch svabhavaja- svabhavah svasadharano bhavah, prachinavasananimittah tattadruchivisheshah, yatr ruchiah tatr shraddha jayate. shraddha hi ‘svabhimatan sadhayati etath’ iti vishvasapoorvika sadhane tvara. vasana ruchiah ch shraddha ch atmadharmaah gunasansargajaah.
sabhi praniyoan ki shraddha tin prakar ki hoti hai aur vah svabhavik hoti hai. apana-apana jo asadharan (vishesh) bhav hai, usaka nam svabhav hai. yani prachin vasanaoan ke nimitt se hone vali vibhinn ruchi ka nam svabhav hai. jahaan ruchi hoti hai, vahian shraddha utpann hoti hai. kyoanki ‘amuk sadhan apane abhimat kary ko siddh kar sakega’ is vishvas ke sath jo sadhan mean shighrata hoti hai, usaka nam shraddha hai. vasana, ruchi aur shraddha- ye sabhi atma ke dharm gun sansarg se hone vale haian.
teshamh atmadharmanaan vasanadinaan janakaah dehendriyantah karanavishayagata dharmaah karyaikaniroopaniyaah sattvadayo gunaah, sattvadigunayuktadeha dyanubhavaja ityarthah.
sharir, indriy, antahkaran aur vishayoan mean rahane vale sattvadi gunaroop dharm hi un vasanadi atmadharmoan ke utpadak haian. ve sattvadi gun keval kary se hi samajh mean a sakate haian. atah yah abhipray hai ki ve vasanadi atmadharm sattv adi gunayukt shariradi ke anubhav se utpann hone vale haian.
