yah siddhaant bauddhadharm ko bhi many hai, ki jis purush ne apani trishna samool nasht kar dali ho, use age aur kuchh prapt karane ke liye nahian rah jata; aur is siddhaant ko batalate hue udan namak pali granth ke[1] is shlok mean yah drishtaant diya hai– “ki kayira udapanen apa che sabbada siyum”–sarvada pani milane yogy ho jane se kuean ko lekar kya karana hai. ajakal b de-b de shaharoan mean yah dekha hi jata hai, ki ghar mean nal ho jane se phir koee kuean ki parava nahian karata. isase aur vishesh kar shukanuprashn ke vivechan se gita ke drishtaant ka svarasy jnat ho jayega aur yah dekh p dega, ki hamane is shlok ka oopar jo arth kiya hai, vahi saral aur thik hai. parantu, chahe is karan se ho ki aise arth se vedoan ko kuchh gaunata a jati hai, athava is sampradayik siddhaant ki or drishti dene se ho ki jnan mean hi samast karmoan ka samavesh rahane ke karan jnani ko karm karane ki jaroorat nahian, gita ke tikakar is shlok ke padoan ka anvay kuchh nirale dhang se lagate haian. ve is shlok ke pahale charan mean ‘tavan’ aur doosare charan mean ‘yavan’ padoan ko adhyahyat man kar aisa arth lagate haian

“udapane yavanarth: tavanev sarvat: sanplutodake yatha sampadyate tatha yavaansarveshu vedeshu arth: tavan vijanat: brahmanasy sampadyate”

–arthat snanapan adi karmoan ke liye kuean ka jitana upayog hota hai, utana hi b de talab mean (sarvat: sanplutodake) bhi ho sakata hai; isi prakar vedoan ka jitana upayog hai, utana sab jnani purush ko usake jnan se ho sakata hai. parantu is anvay mean pahali shlok-pankti mean ‘tavan’ aur doosari pankti mean ‘yavan’ in do padoan ke adhyahar kar lene ki avashyakata p dane ke karan hamane is anvay aur arth ko svikrit nahian kiya. hamara anvay aur arth kisi bhi pad ke adhyahar kiye bina hi lag jata hai aur poorv ke shlok se siddh hota hai, ki isamean pratipadit vedoan ke kore (arthat jnanavyatirikt) karmakand ka gaunatv hi is sthal par vivakshit hai. ab jnani purush ko y़jn-yag adi karmoan ki koee avashyakata n rah jane se kuchh log jo yah anuman kiya karate haian, ki in karmoan ko jnani purush n kare, bilakul chho d de–yah bat gita ko samast nahian hai. kyoanki, yadyapi in karmoan ka phal jnani purush ko abhisht nahian tathapi phal ke liye n sahi, to bhi yajn-yag adi karmoan ko, apane shastravihit karttavy samajh kar, vah kabhi chho d nahian sakata. atharahavean adhyay mean bhagavan ne apana nishchit mat spasht kah diya hai, ki phalasha n rahe, to bhi anyany nishkam karmoan ke anusar yajn-yag adi karm bhi jnani purush ko ni:sang buddhi se karana hi chahiye[2]. yahi nishkam-vishayak arth ab agale shlok mean vyakt kar dikhalate hai-]
