jab sab brahmajnan ka niroopan ho gaya, tab yajnavalky ne raja janak se kaha hai ki “abhayan vai praptoasi’’- ab too abhay ho gaya (bri. 4.2.4); yahi bat is gita-dharm ke jnan ke liye anek arthoan mean aksharashah kahi ja sakati hai. gita-dharm kaisa hai? vah sarvatopari nirbhay aur vyapak hai, vah sam hai arthat varn, jati, desh ya kisi any bhedoan ke jhag de mean nahian p data, kintu sab logoan ko ek hi mapataul se saman sadgati deta hai; vah any sab dharmoan ke vishay mean yathochit sahishnuta dikhalata hai; vah jnan, bhakti aur, karm-yukt hai; aur adhik kya kahean, vah sanatan vaidik dharmavriksh ka atyant madhur tatha amrit-phal hai. vaidik dharm mean pahale dravyamay ya pashumay yajnoan ka arthath keval karm-kaand ka hi adhik mahatmh‍y tha; parantu phir upanishadoan ke jnan se yah keval karmakaand-pradhanashrautadharm gaun mana jane laga aur usi samay saankhyashastr ka bhi pradurbhav hua. parantu yah jnan samany janoan ko agamy tha aur isaka jhukav bhi karm-sannyas ki or hi vishesh raha karata tha, isaliye keval aupanishadik dharm se athava donoan ki smartt-ekavakyata se bhi sarv-sadharan logoan ka poora samadhan hona sanbhav nahian tha. atev upanishadoan ke keval buddhigamy brahmajnan ke sath premagamy vyakt-upasana ke rajaguhy ka sanyog karake, karmakaand ki prachin parampara ke anusar hi, arjun ko nimitt karake gita-dharm sab logoan ko muktakanth se yahi kahata hai, ki “tum apani apani yogyata ke anusar apane apane saansarik karttavyoan ka palan lok-sangrah ke liye nishkam-buddhi se, atmaupamy drishti se tatha utsah se yavajivan karate raho; aur, usake dvara aise nity paramatm-devata ka sada yajan karo jo pind brahmanh‍d mean tatha samast praniyoan mean ekatv se vyapt hai-isi mean tumhara saansarik tatha paralaukik kalyan hai.’’

isase karman, buddhi (jnan) aur prem (bhakti) ke bich ka virodh nasht ho jata hai; sab ayu ya jivan hi ko yajnamay karane ke liye upadesh dene vale akele gita-dharm mean sakal vaidik-dharm ka saraansh a jata hai. is nityadharm ko pahachan kar, keval karttavy samajh karake, sarv-bhoot-hit ke liye prayatn karane vale saik doan mahatma aur karta ya vir purush, jab is pavitr bharat-bhoomi ko alankrit kiya karate the, tab yah desh parameshh‍var ki kripa ka patr banakar n keval jnan ke varanh aishh‍vary ke bhi shikhar par pahuanch gaya tha; aur, kahana nahian hoga ki jab se donoan loko ka sadhak yah shreyaskar dharm chhoot gaya hai tabhi se is desh ki nikrishtavastha ka aranbh hua hai. isaliye eeshh‍var se ashapoorvak antim prarthana yahi hai ki bhakti ka, brahmajnan ka aur kartritvashakti ka yathochit mel kar denevale is tejasvi tatha sam gita-dharm ke anusar parameshh‍var ka yajan-poojan karane vale satpurush is desh mean phir bhi utpann hoan. aur, ant mean udar pathakoan se nimn mantr-dvara[1] yah binati karake gita ka rahasy-vivechan yahaan samapt kiya jata hai, ki is granth mean kahian bhram se kuchh nyunadhikata huee ho to use sam-drishti se sudhar lijiye-

samani v akootiah samana hadayani vah.
samanamastu vo mano yatha vah susahasati..

yatha vah susahasati..[2] Om tatsadbrahmarpanamastu.
