is siddhanh‍t ke vishay mean shabdik mat-bhed bhale hi ho, paranh‍tu tattvat: kuchh mat-bhed nahian hai. nidan gitashash‍tr ko to yah siddhanh‍t sarvathaiv grahy hai. is prakar gita ko yah tattv bhi poornataya manh‍y hai, ki yadi arth aur kam, in do purusharthoan ki prapti karana ho to ve bhi niti-dharm se hi praph‍t kiye javean. ab keval dharm ( arthath vh‍yavaharik chaturvanary-dharm ) aur moksh ke parash‍parik samh‍banh‍dh ka[1] nirnay karana shesh rah gaya. inamean se dharm ke vishay mean to yah siddhanh‍t sabhi pakshoan ko many hai ki dharm ke dvara chitt ko shuddh kiye bina moksh ki bat hi karana vh‍yarth hai. paranh‍tu is prakar chitt ko shuddh karane ke liye bahut samay lagata hai; isaliye moksh ki drishti se vichar karane par bhi yahi siddh hota hai, ki tath‍poorv kal mean pahale pahal sansar ke sab karttavh‍yoan ko ‘dharm se ‘ poora kar lena chahiye[2]. sannh‍yas ka arth hai ‘chho dana;‘ aur jisane dharm ke dvara is sansar mean kuchh praph‍t ya siddh nahian kiya hai, vah th‍yag hi kh‍ya karega ? athava jo ‘prapanch ‘ ( saansarik karm ) hi thik thik sadh nahian sakata, us ‘abhagi‘ paramarth bhi kaise thik sadhega[3]? kisi ka antim uddesh ya sadhh‍y chahe saansarik ho athava paramarthik; paranatu yah bat pragat hai ki usaki siddhi ke liye dirgh prayath‍n, manonigrah aur samarthh‍y ith‍yadi gunoan ki ek hi avashh‍yakata hoti hai; aur yejisamean gun vidyaman nahian hote, use kisi bhi uddeshh‍y ya sadhh‍y ki prapti nahian hoti.

is bat ko man lene par bhi kuchh log isase age badh kar kahate haian; ki jab dirgh prayath‍n aur manonigrah ke dvara ath‍m-jnan ho jata hai, tab anh‍t mean sansar ke vishayopabhog-roopi sab vh‍yavahar ni:sh‍sar pratit heane lagate haian; aur jis prakar saanp apani niroopayogi keanchuli ko chho d deta hai, usi prakar jnani purush bhi sab saansarik vishayoan ko chho d keval parameshh‍var sh‍varoop mean hi lin ho jaya karate haian[4]. jivan vh‍yatit karane ke is marg mean sab vh‍yavaharoan ka th‍yag kar anh‍t mean keval jnan ko hi pradhanata di jati hai, atev ise jnananishh‍tha, saankhh‍yanishh‍tha athava sab vh‍yavaharoan ka th‍yag karane se sannh‍yas-nishh‍tha bhi kahate haian. paranh‍tu isake viparit gitashash‍tr mean kaha hai, ki aramh‍bh mean chith‍t ki shuddhi hone par bhi-unh‍hian vh‍yavaharoan ko keval sh‍vadharm aur karttavh‍y samajh, kar lok-sangrah ke liye nishh‍kam buddhi se karate rahana avashh‍yak hai. yadi jnani manushh‍y aisa n kareange to logoan ko adarsh batalanevala koee bhi n rahega, aur phir is sansar ka nash ho jayaga. is karm-bhoomi mean kisi ke bhi karm chhoot nahian sakate; aur buddhi buddhi nishh‍kam ho jave to koee bhi karm moksh ke a de nahian a sakate. isaliye sansar ka th‍yag n kar sansar ke sab vh‍yavaharoan ko virakh‍t buddhi se anh‍y janoan ki naee mrith‍yu paryanh‍t karate rahana hi jnani purush ka bhi karttavh‍y ho jata hai.
