adhidaivat paksh ke pandit ise sadasadavivek-buddhiroopi devata ki sh‍vatanh‍tr sh‍phoorti kahate haian. paranatu tatvik drishti se vichar karane par vidit hota hai, ki buddhindriy j d prakriti hi ka vikar hone ke karan sh‍vayan apani hi prerana se karm ke niyam-banh‍dhanoan se mukh‍t nahian ho sakati, yah prerana use karm-sashti ke bahar ke ath‍ma se praph‍t hoti hai. isi prakar pashchimi panditoan ka “ichh‍chha-sh‍vatantray” shabh‍d bhi vedanh‍t ki drishti se thik nahian hai, kh‍yoanki ichh‍chha man ka dharm hai aur athavean prakaran mean kaha ja chuka hai ki buddhi tatha usake sath sath man bhi karmath‍mak j d prakriti ka ash‍vayanvedh vikar hai isaliye ye donoan sh‍vany ap hi karm ke bandhan se chhoot nahian sakate. atev vedanh‍tashash‍tr ka nishh‍chay hai ki sachh‍cha sh‍vatantray n to buddhi ka hai aur n hi man ka–vah keval ath‍ma ka hai. yah sh‍vatantray paramath‍ma ka aansharoop jivath‍ma jab upadhi ke bandhan mean p d jata hai, tab vah sh‍vayan sh‍vatantr riti se oopar kahe anusar buddhi tatha man mean prerana kiya karata hai. anh‍t:karan ki is prerana ka anadar karake koee bartav karega to yahi kaha ja sakata hai ki vah sh‍vayan apane pairoan mean ap kulh‍ha di marane ko taiyar hai.

bhagavadgita mean isi tattv ka ulh‍lekh yoan kiya gaya hai “n hinash‍th‍yath‍manaaamanan”– jo sh‍vany apana ghat ap hi nahian karata, use uttam gati milati hai[1]; aur dasabodh mean bhi isi ka sh‍pashh‍t anuvad kiya gaya hai[2]. yadyapi dekh p data hai ki manushh‍y karm-srishti ke abhed niyamoan se jak d kar bandha hua hai, tathapi sh‍vabhavat: use aisa maloom hota hai ki maian kisi kam ko sh‍vatantr riti se kar sakooanga. anubhav ke is tattv ki upapatti oopar kahe anusar brahm-srishti ko j d-srishti se bhinh‍n mane bina kisi bhi anh‍y riti se nahian batalaee ja sakati. isaliye jo adhh‍yath‍mashash‍tr ko nahian manate, unh‍hean is vishay mean ya to manushh‍y ke nith‍y dasath‍v ko manana chahiye, ya pr‍vriti-sh‍vatanh‍tray ke prashh‍n ko agamh‍y samajh kar yoan hi chho d dena chahiye; unake liye koee doosara marg nahian hai. advait vedanh‍t ka yah siddhaant hai ki jivath‍ma aur paramath‍ma mool mean ekaroop hai[3] aur isi siddhaant ke anusar pravriti-sh‍vatantray ya ichh‍chha-sh‍vatantray ki ukh‍t upapatti batalaee gee hai. paranh‍tu jinh‍hean yah advait mat manh‍y nahian hai, athava jo bhakti ke liye dvait ko sh‍vikar kiya karate haian, unaka kathan hai ki jivath‍ma ka yah sarmathh‍y sh‍vayan usaka nahian hai, balki yah use parameshh‍var se praph‍t hota hai.
